"Uh yes." it was really the only way to make tea in his room. He didn't have stove after all It was a dinged up old thing passed through many siblings before him. "Cups! Never enough cups."

"Cats hunt. for..." he paused and looked at her stopping mid sentence before rectifying. "Birds. Things of the air, and bats. The creepateria the school always has. For tea a cat of spirit only needs to float. And all fours is the usual mode for a cat." he cast an illusion paw into the air letting it float briefly explaining that he use that in his cat from. He was a cat normally after all. This whole, humanoid thing was harder than the cat thing. "Dirt is a perfectly good place to lay, though to float is also good. Nothing is better than a tree though." he bobbled in the air demonstrating that he indeed floated. "Though for tea, perhaps a table and chair is the more proper thing to do." he mused. Carlos honestly didn't really think he needed such thins before. Now that Camilla mentioned it, perhaps it was proper for a Cheshire cat. They had such things in the house back home. Fighting for a chair among his siblings was hard, he rarely used a chair. But they did have them.

Camilla still wasn't quite sure she understood... Despite listening carefully, the simple life of a Cheshire Cat ghost was still simply defeating her...

Carlos hunted rather then cooked that much was obvious. But Camilla couldn't imagine only ever having just tea! There were cakes and spiscuits and sandwiches and scones! Tarts and huge breakfasts and big dinners and lunches! Even if Camilla were a ghost, she'd eat just for the fun of it! However... Carlos was a ghost and not raised to need eating... Also when it came to the basic creature comforts... Camilla was admitedly... a bit out of the loop... Her life had been filled with luxury and grandiose! She could live simply if need be, she just didn't quite understand it...

But one thing she did know was, Carlos had agreed a table and chairs would be a good idea! And so the Dormouse ghoul decided to belay her Cheshire Cat musings for now in favor of the task at hand. "Then a table and chairs it is!" she exclaims happily! The furniture store down the way would surely have a good table and chairs for a reasonable cost. But... The cups, kettle, and plates would have to come from a different store... And she knew the perfect one! Carlos had mentioned a tree was a nice place to sit, so instead of getting him just a scratching post she'd get him a cat tree house! Finally, his room was so dreary... There was no way she could afford to pay for a artist to come and paint his room... But she could get him some nice wall paper!

Eventually, once she got everything she wanted to buy him worked out, she nods mentally to herself before smiling at the Cheshire Cat boil. "Ok! I know just what I'll buy you!" she chirps happily. However, her smile drops for a moment as she thinks about all the walking that would be involved... Carlos had already carried her all the way here... Maybe it was her turn to return the favor! "Oh... We'll be doing a lot of walking... Hey! If you want I can carry you!" she says slowly before offering cheerfully! "Heh! You carried me all the way here so I can carry you now!" she laughs. Carlos weighted practically nothing, what with being a ghost and all. Even his humaniod form was light! Though admitedly slightly awkward to carry...

Carlos did not understand the need for great and grand things at all. However, he was content to share in other people's things. Camilla insisted that he needed things and he would take things.

"A treasure hunt!" he nodded. For treasures he was hunting. Anything he got from Camilla was a treasure as far as he was concerned. They would have good memories.

She offered to carry him. an it would be east in his cat form but... he shook his head. "A cat on the hunt I am." he skittered forward, well, floated but his limbs flailed about. Clearly Carlos was too excited to be carried right now. It was a rare moment when he declined.

"Where is our first stop? This or that? or does it matter at all?" Carlos was more interested in moving than staying in one place at the moment.

Camilla was, frankly, quite surprised! She'd never seen the Cheshire Cat boil turn down being carried! Her surprised expression soon turns to a cheerful one as his eager running in mid air makes her laugh! "Heh! To the furniture store! She exclaims loudly as her tail wags with a merry sway! She'd never thought of shopping as treasure hunting. But the idea made her like shopping even more now!

Soon, the pare were standing in front of a modest looking store that wasn't far from the tailor. In the display window were beautiful chairs and a table. "This is it! Let's go!" she says excitedly before entering.

Despite it's modest outside appearance, the store was actually really big inside! Upon entering, Camilla gives the shopkeeper a friendly wave before heading over to the Tea Table section. "Here's the Tea Tables! There's lots of good ones and I think most of these come as a set!" she explains before looking curiously at the selection herself. She had no more room for tables... But she still liked to look!

Carlos followed Camilla bouncing in the air as he hovered along. "Treasure hunt treasure hunt." Ok so furniture was not what most people called treasure, but he called it so. What was other people's junk was Carlos's treasure.

"Oh wow it's beautiful in here." So many tables to scratch and nap on. Oh he would not scratch in here. they were clearly someone's precious treasure. but he was astounded by just how many table and chairs and other comfy looking things there were.

"Sets even?" Sets were a rare thing. At least back home. mostly it was a world of jibble jabble and Carlos coming from a big family with lots of siblings had never exactly had a set before. Honestly the first and possibly only new thing he had ever gotten was his first blanket as a kitten which was part of a set with his sister's. It was also the one thing that his mother made sure he kept with his name sewn into it.

Carlos bounced around looking from this one and that. "Can we really have one?" Carlos probably should have remembered there was this thing called money. And you could use it to trade for things you want. Problem was Carlos was not good with money. It usually wound up taken from him, and his parents spent their spare money on education. He was sent items not money. If he wanted money, he would have to earn his own which the cat just didn't have a concept of how to do that just yet. He still lived in the land of play.

"There are so many. big ones small ones, red ones blue ones." he paused to look at an absolutely beautiful set made of rosewood. "Wow... it's beautiful." he paused and let his paws roam over the top of it not wanting to break it. "Now this is a tea table." the tea table of tea tables. The king of tea tables.

Camilla couldn't help but smile at the Cheshire Cat boil's wonderment. Was this his first time in a furniture store? It actually wouldn't surprise her much. In many cultures when it came to things like room decor and such, the parents decide most of it. But in Mouseshire culture. One's wealth is not counted in seeds, but in the objects and treasures one possesses. So it's important for mouselings to choose their own decor, because it becomes part of their personal wealth. Also because houses hold such important in their culture, it's even more important that it be personalized.

She watched him frolic a bit with a cheerful smile. She'd never thought of sets as that unusual. Yeah in Mouseshire things tended to be mixed up because you had all these heirlooms trying to fit in one house. But sets were usually almost religiously kept together, snd they are favored over singular purchases because you get a better deal.

As the Dormouse ghoul browsed around she soon hears the boils exclaimation. Curious about what he found, she bounces over excitedly. Instantly, her eyes widen as she looks at the set, he must have found one of the best in the place! "Ooo! Wow! That is a good one!" she exclaims. She had to admit, Carlos had a eye for detail. Merrily she goes to check the price, only to blanch seconds later... There was a REASON this set was so fine... "Eep! Um... Carlos... I don't have enough seeds for this table... Not right now anyway..." she says softly in a almost shocked tone...

Even if she paid monthly on it and got the best deal of her life... she'd still not beable to get it for five hundred seeds... Maybe one day she could get it for his birthday... but not now...

"I think... we need to find something... less ornate..." she says softly while frowning in slight dismay as her tail begins to twitch worriedly at the end... She hoped he didn't gave his heart set on this table...

"Seeds. They only want seeds for it?" Carlos did not have many seeds, and he had very little concept of buying, partially because he didn't need to.

Still Carlos's ears drooped just a bit. "Not this one, too precious." Carlos nodded. He did understand trade. He scampered off to look at the others, simply accepting Camilla's statement. Carlos did have an understanding of trade and needing both parties to agree despite his limited seed understanding.

"Simple for now! simple simple, elegant but simple. too big, too small, too blue, too red." Carlos circled through the table. "too round." Carlos ran his tail along a very circular and modern tea table as he disregarded it.

"This one is nice. What do you think Camilla?" Carlos stopped next to what seemed to be more of an outdoor set But as far as Carlos was concerned, it would work for both inside and outside. While he was less excited Carlos did sit in the chair testing it out. his tail could wiggle down, always a good sign.

She was relieved to see that, while seemingly slightly disappointed, Carlos wasn't too upset about her not being able to get him the table.

She sighs with relief and allows her tail to relax as Carlos once again goes off on a hunt for a set. She had a bunch of things she wanted to buy her friend with that 500 seeds. She couldn't spend it all on a set alone.

When her name was called, the Dormouse ghoul bounces over and looks at his choice. It was simple but still had elegance to it and the fact that it was outdoor friendly seemed like a good idea for a cat! "Ooo! Good choice! Simple yet still elegant!" she chirps before looking at the price and nodding with a pleased expression! "It's for a good price too!" she announces happily!

However, she quickly takes a breath and gets a more serious expression. "First though, I better check the quality." she says before beginning her inspection. With the expertise of a trained shopper, Camilla checks the quality of the wood, metal, and paint before checking all the hardware to make sure the set would last. The Dormouse ghoul was a good person to have with you when you went shopping. Something a certain Banshee ghoul could attest too!

Finally when she was satisfied, she straightens up and nods. "This is a very good set you picked Carlos!" she announces happily before waving over the clerk. It took a good ten minutes of questioning and bargaining before the Dormouse ghoul and the clerk shook hands on a detail. She bargained out a good discount for being a frequent customer and he allowed her to make monthly payments. All she needed was a small down payment, which she expected. After fishing out and handing off the needed seeds, Camilla turns back to her friend with a smile. "Your set should be delivered to your dorm within the week!" she announces happily!
