Carlos was told to sit down. And sit down he did, but he might have already stolen a little hat. It was red and went well with his blue with blue PARTY TIME on top. He found it pleasing.
Carlos's grin broke out a little wider then usual as his tail wiggled. It flicked and he might be feeling a little nibbly. Just a little.
But the teacher had taken his tea. And he still had a few cups. "Camilla, tea yes." he handed her a cup.
When the teacher came by again, Carlos took an orange boa and a few noise makers. "Thank you."
He didn't have any questions for now. A strange new world sounded exciting, though... he had a feeling he might have been there before. With his Mimsy. yes. He missed his Mimsy.

Petro remembered last year's excursion to Independence Town. There were mixed feelings about it. But a party was a party and despite his usual grim, stoic countenance Tro did actually like parties.
He intended to sign up but found there was no need? His face pulled into a wide grin, Excellent. They were told to sit down, the monster horse did so. He'd always been an obedient boil.
When he scanned those who'd arrived and were taking their seats, he recalled the cat. He was busy talking with mouse ghoul and rather than interrupt, Petro opted to hunker down beside Carlos. The tall boil gave both his former-groupmate and the ghoul a friendly wave.
The tea was happily accepted and drank with pleasure. "Ahhh... Thanks Carlos!" she sighs happily as she takes a slip after enjoying the aroma...
The boil who approached the pare and gave her a small wave, was waved cheerfully back to in turn. Last time, Camilla had gone to Easter town. She remembered what it was like to be a bunny and had quite enjoyed it! She wouldn't mind going back there one day for a proper visit. But for now it was time to go to Independence Town!
As the box with the noise makers passes her by, Camilla absently grabs one with her prehensile tail and gives it a little twirl while smiling cheerfully. Finally, she sets her cup of tea down to look at the boil nearby. "Have you been to Independence Town?" she asks the boil curiously as her tail sways lightly while still wrapped around the noise maker.

Ruth had only experienced one Field Class. She realized she should probably correct that if she intended to graduate from this school. The Violet just wanted to be more "visibly a wallflower" and that could only happen if, y'know, she was actually seen.
So that was why she was in this class, late, but acting as if she'd been there the whole time. She kept her head down, jotting down notes and taking samples when allowed or prompted. That's when she spotted her "Boss."
The blonde reaper gave a soundless sigh of relief and changed her seats. She did her best not to draw too much attention. Even to that of Andrew's and the other boil he was talking to.

Petro took whatever paraphernalia was being handed out, finding himself smiling in spite of himself. He heard the ghoul nearby ask a qustion, and wasn't sure if she was addressing him. So he properly faced her, brown eyes studying her before answering, "Yup. Went last year. With him." At this he gestured to Carlos, because it was difficult to forget a character like him. Even if the cat had spent more time with this other ghoul. "Did y' go to a different holiday?"
Carlos was easily remembered. Mostly because he was confusing. Confusion was pretty much what a Cheshire cat was. And most people did not forget being confused.
"Independence town that was? Lights and smiles and fun everywhere. Exciting." he nodded an passed a tea cup to Petro. "Fun. You must have fun." Carlos started again and then whispered. "It is required."

Oh so the boil was in the Holiday Doors class too? Now that she thought about it... Yes he was!
Smiling cheerfully she nods at his question. "Yeah! I went to Easter Town! Heh! I got turned into a rabbit! The grass was so green and the sky so blue! There was also candy everywhere!" she explains excitedly!
When Carlos started speaking she flicks a ear and listens to him before smiling jovially. Heh! Sounds great! I don't think I'll have trouble having fun there!" she laughs happily. Finally, she sets the noise maker on the desk next to her so her tail could sway a bit and takes a sip of her tea.
For a moment her attention wandered, slowly she looks around the classroom with tea still in hand before she spots two familiar figures! A not grumpy wolf and a reaper in gray! Hi Uru! Hi uh... gray reaper! smiling Camilla waves at both Uru and the gray reaper, who's name she's still never gotten... She'd have to change that one day...

Uru nodded. He didn't know how well his abilities would work with fireworks. Theoretically, it wouldn't, but if he focused, it might. He turned to the demon beside him, pocketing his fists as he followed him with Selene to Independence Town. "Sounds like something we could look into. Fire experiments."
Uru kept his usual resting grumpy expression, giving a brief glance to the female reaper nearby, but kept his attention ahead of him. Students were anxious in their seats, they were all excited to go through the doors of the tree grove, go to new places. It meant new experiences, new stories to tell.
The demon hound's head jerked up when his name was called, scanning he found the little female. He offered a smile as he waved to her. "Camilla. Seems like we are running into each other a lot, lately, huh?"

He was late, but thankfully not too late. In fact, his arrival seemed more of a celebration than an embarrassment with all of the glittering paraphernalia that was foisted on him upon entering. He dropped into a seat near a student he couldn't quite see, not until he shifted the red, white, and blue boa away from his face and removed his sparkling fireworks glasses. Rojo sat up very straight then, surprised and delighted to see another fashionable skeleton.
"Hello!" he said, hardly concerned that the lecture had already begun. He did quiet down after that, but only slightly. "It is so exciting to meet another skeleton here! Most of the school's undead have a lot more... skin." Not that there was anything wrong with that.
Independence Town, this would be the first Danirate was hearing of it and he was not particularly curious to see it. However, he did welcome the change to some extent; scenery, yes why not; wardrobe additions, he is far more critical with regards to this. The vampire settled with placing a plastic champagne glass on his desk with little mind before passing on picking anything more from the circulating selection. As to the question of would he remember to take the plastic party favor along, maybe, maybe not. He listened absentmindedly to the lecture in silence as he relaxed while sitting in a still upright but reclined position on his seat short of propping his feet up on the tabletop.
When the assortment of party items reached her, Alpinely's eyes danced among them as her reach shuffled through what there was to pick from. One item was fine with her as she decidedly contented herself with searching for what it would specifically be. And then, aha; she chose large glasses with red frames and used one hand to easily slide it over her eyes as she passed the rest of the choices to another fellow student. It wasted no time in following gravity's pull to move down the length of her nose and Alpinely didn't seem to notice for a while until she mimicked a tsundere gesture to slide it back up; complete with endeavoring to act the part quietly.

"All right class, settle down! I take it you've all chosen your decorative outfit pieces already? Good! Now please follow me, we've got a bit of walking to do together. Tut tut!"
She placed a rather gaudy tiara on her head, and took a noisemaker for herself, before heading out of the room and leading the class out of the building. Throughout the entire walk from Amityville to the Forbidden Forest, Selene droned on and on about facts of the different Doors, and their worlds within, with special focus on Independance Town. Unfortunately, her voice was so quiet, and the students were so rowdy, that almost no one heard anything she was saying. She seemed satisfied nonetheless.
The long walk took quite some time, but eventually what would have felt like an unending line of creepy trees finally broke into a clearing. The grass was greener and fresher here. Fear was already limited, as they neared all of the different Holiday Doors, and Selene ushered them quickly towards the one that looked like a Firework.
"Does everyone have a travel buddy? If not, please find one now! Once we enter this Door, there is to be no ruckus, and absolutely no getting lost!"

Make sure at least one person is aware of your presence in this class so that if you go missing, they will be in charge of letting Selene know. It doesn't have to be a 2 person system, if you have a group of 3 that is also fine, as long as at least one person is aware of who you are and what you look like. If you know no one in the class, it's time to make a friend, quick! If you can't find one, quote me, and Selene will help!
Class is still open to new students but this is the last time it will be! Once we enter the door, it's closed!
Actual activities begin tomorrow, so be prepared!

Interaction; at the moment Danirate was thinking he would rather not interact and was starting to contemplate leaving. His considerations were taking a more serious turn when he was alarmed beneath his calm bearing of being spotted by a rather trying ghoul in his book, especially if he was correctly predicting how hyper she'd get under these circumstances. He pulled his cape away but not before she had managed to take hold of it.
Alpinely's gaze went sweeping around when instruction was given to initiate interaction and landed first on a quite familiar victim of her odd prankster ways vampire. "Danirate, hi!" she greeted the boil and then with the momentum from grabbing hold of his cape right before his pull of it, she bumped into another boil she new next.
"Alpinely, my cape," Danirate began but didn't further bother to complete the statement that probably would go over her head as he already suspected her mind was likely flying a mile a minute every which way in hyperactivity.
Her hands went up beside her face as she waved them both in greeting, seemingly oblivious to the cape she still held in one hand, "Rojo! Hi! Do you remember me Alpinely? And this is Danirate, have you both met before?"
"Rojo, I am Danirate, hello," he confirmed with his awkward greeting then went on to say, "What made you decide to join this field class?"
"Ruth, hello!" Alpinely caught sight of ghoul she remembered meeting briefly in the student council elections event and waved enthusiastically with both hands held overhead; and as a result, Danirate succeeded in pulling his cape from Alpinely's grasp at last while he addressed Rojo.

Suddenly he had another companion. "Hey blondie." he spoke in a quick greeting. Yes Andrew still didn't know the ghoul's name. Even after seeing her this often.
Or if he did know he had forgotten, either way the ghoul was greeted with a wing opening towards her as he accepted the wall flower as part of his space.
Andrew was not among those who were waved too, so he simply ignored the door mouse an her companions. They had icky liquid stuff anyways.
When the box came around he just grabbed a red boa and a few noise makers. good enough, right?

And then they were off. Andrew only half listened to Selene's quiet lecture. He was busy just cilling and walking hands shoved deep in his pockets. it seemed they were going just as they were, no hiding wings an such.
Travel buddy? He had two, sort of. Well, he was going to default to Blondie, even is she tended to vanish in a crowd. He stuck a wing on her head. "Don't wander too far. I'm claiming you for this. Even though I'm not a scareling who needs a travel buddy." he gave a glance to Uru. "if you are stuck without anyone you can join use too." he said, taking charge of the situation, but not forcing uru into anything.

At Uru's response, Camilla laughs and nods a bit. "Heh! Yeah! Guess neither of us can resist a good class!" she says cheerfully with a happy tail wag. Course, she'd seen him at Prom too. But practically everybody was there, so that didn't count. Hm... She never had gotten to hang out with Uru as he promised they would at the Auction last year... She'd have to change that too someday...
Soon other creeple entered and one of which was a familiar and colorful Skeleton boil! "Hi Rojo!" Camilla chirps and gives him a small wave. She also noticed a certain fire demon, whom she had played a prank on once, looking at her... She didn't wave at him... Mercifully, while it had been a pretty shabby prank, a prank was a prank, and she was glad the fire demon never found out her true appearance...
Finally, it seemed they were ready to go. Quickly, Camilla polishes off her tea and hands the cup back to Carlos before getting up and grabbing her stuff. With stuff in hand she follows Ms. Selene out the door.

As the class walked along, Camilla stayed close to Carlos and that boil who came over to talk with them. She did TRY to hear Ms. Selene's babblement about the Holiday doors, because the Dormouse ghoul found them quite fascinating! Especially after experiencing the Knight Dream, and finding out that the world of Halloween wasn't originally a holiday based world at all but a sanctuary for shadowlings! Unfortunately... due to the ruckus of the other students, she didn't get to hear much... Even with her sharp hearing it all sounded like jumbled muttering...
Her disappointment over not hearing about the holiday door's was soon forgotten as they reach the clearing! The Dormouse ghoul stood in awe at the different doors and marveled at the strange feeling the low Fear area caused! She'd been out of Halloween before on a Artifact quest, but this somehow felt... different... And exciting! Camilla was so excited that her tail practically was wagging a mile a minute!
When they were told to find a travel buddy or two, Camilla knew just who to ask! "Hey Carlos! Want to be travel buddies?" She asks the Cheshire Cat boil cheerfully. After asking him she soon turns to the other boil. "And you too! Uh..." and it was that moment that Camilla realized she hadn't caught the boil's name... Or introduced herself yet... "Oh! I'm Camilla, Camilla Forester by the way!" she says cheerfully to the boil. Proper introductions were important after all! Even though he might have caught her name from Carlos and Uru.

Being turned into a rabbit sounded interesting. Carlos dropped quiet and watched camilla wave to some creeple and say hello.
He then cleaned up all his cups and left them on the table for now. It was a good place for them.
Oh he had to actually follow ans walk? Well float. Carlos moaned a bit and then got up and floated after everyone. He glanced from Camilla to Tro but didn't see anyone who might carry him. That and it was class time so he couldn't just cat it up.
Ugh... he floated slowly behind them. and then just like... put a hand on camilla's shoulder and let her effort forward propel him with her. being able to hove had advantages... and lazy cat was too lazy. He didn't really listen to anything selene said.
"Travel buddies. Yes. Which way will we go? This way or that?" he chattered excitedly.
((I've decided to give you guys one extra day to get a post in and partner up before the class is closed for good, as well as in case anyone else wants to join it, but the class WILL be updated tomorrow early evening, so please get your posts in before then!))
