Looking For: Backgroundish plotting/replotting maybe RP With: Gabriel
Name: Rakshi Personality: Excitable, but he has a warrior's heart (long line of diplomats and the like.) He has grown to be a protector rather than a warrior, but he has taught his foals well the knowledge that was passed on to him. Biography: EHEHEHE...this is actually something to be chatted about. Details: So I made sure to double check on this, but LOOOONG ago there was a plot of possible rp where Gabriel took on a fatherly sort of figure in Rakshi's life since his actual father figure wasn't there much. (especially not during Rakshi's formative years of colt-hood)
Since it was a background kind of plot Idea, I've very much incorporated it into his background and now that Rakshi has not only a lifemate and kids of his own, but grandkids as well, I thought it would be interesting to background plot out more of what happened when he was younger.
Like I said more backgrounding than anything because it's in the past, and because Rakshi went off to find his way in the world, inspired by both his 'surrogate father figure' and his mother who is still very much an adventurer, it could be a case of Gabriel doesn't remember the doofy foal he took a liking to long ago or that he's angry because he felt the foal deserted his teachings, or even the stallion has an awkward fondness for the sort of adopted son. Really depends on what would best fit with Gabriel's personality.
Sooo, yeah. That's kinda what I thought up, feel free to shoot me now if you prefer!
It's been so long. D8 Hrm...maybe he was fond of him, but because he was so wrapped up in everything that happened with his own family he forgot about him? I remember he was suppose to be the first foal he ever encountered outside of his family, so he would have definitely liked him in some way. Maybe that was the one child who he raised right? Maybe he was the only one who liked Gabriel? I mean of course Rakshi doesn't have to technically be an adopted son to Gabriel. That is up to you.
It would be interesting if they did meet up again or if we even back plotted that. Gabriel might feel a little better about being a father if Rakshi turned out being alright unlike his own children. Gabriel pretty much fails at being a father so this might help him get over that.
But let me know what you think! c8

Yeah, I think we both kind of like got eaten by stuff, I'm so glad you remember though. I really do like the idea that Gabriel having adopted him, because that background in his other role play assisted him in coming to terms with his father being very unfatherlike, and appreciating both types of 'father figures' in his life.
I am very much into plotting out the background of what happened with Rakshi's training, and then the sudden split that happened because of Gabriel and his family, then Rakshi went off to venture and prove himself to be a warrior.
And having a run in between the two would be awesome. Rakshi built a very loving family, and part of what inspired him(in my head) was the very determined father figure of Gabriel.

Sweet, I shall add you once I'm out of work later on. >w< Soo much fun. The name should be nightshade1040 when I poke at you. ^w^
Name: Inari Personality: Family is very important to Inari because it is all he has, Inari's family gave him everything he has in terms of his skills and tradition. It's a very central part to his life. Although, he is only one of six pieces to a bigger picture.
Inari is a strong wise individual who deals very well with soquili outside of his herd, he's usually confident in this because he often sees opportunity in others (for the good of his herd) before anything else. More often than not he won't go out of his way to interact with someone outside his herd unless he has too (he's got enough on his plate managing his brothers) but where there is curiosity, he sometimes finds himself observing others or things which make him curious. Everyday there is a potential to learn something new, even wise creatures can be taught new things.
Generally overall, he's very focused on the good of his herd, he's not good and he's not evil but quite balanced, balance is very important to him which is why you can catch glimpses of him planting seeds and saying prayers, his family knows the true purpose of this, but to the on looker, it just looks like a strange soquili planting seeds.
Biography: Sadly, he would tell a different story every time, much like the joker in Dark Knight. Details: What plot were you interested in? I'm interested in the matchmaker / love-doctor plot, I think that Inari might see it as a possible way to be called back to her area in the future to perform the lifemating ceremony (for a fee of course). This would be the first time he would try to play match-maker with other soquili so maybe his judgement may not be the best, but his intentions would be to find her happiness so he could have the honour of performing the ceremony in the future.
Should it be modified? I don't know, the plot seems fine. I think it would be fun to plot that Inari would "interview" some potential suitors for her. It would be cool to add some things to the plot if you'd like, I'm all ears.
Did you want to offer a different plot? Well, I'm not sure how far the plot would go but there's always potential for her to learn that her love-doctor isn't just a love doctor, she seems the peaceful type so it might be quite hard hitting for her to find out but she might be curious to learn if they have a specific code they go by or if they're just ruthless murderers.

General Roleplay/Plotting
Looking For: Both With: Galadel

Oh dear another brother xD She would be confused and wonder if she was seeing things because she has RPed with Moo's boy Akira.
The questions I have for you, which I completely forgot to ask Moo, what will happen when she finds out what he does? Would she ever know? And how would he sway her to agree that what he is doing is just? Galadel is the type that is very much against killing anything. She might even have a problem with killing for food since she grew up eating berries and foliage. If he did keep his profession a secret from her, I don't think it could work because that is a huge secret. But then if he told her then I don't see that turning out well either. I know all the brothers have other jobs that aren't surrounded by killing but she wouldn't even be able to move past that aspect of him. She would constantly be asking him why all the time.
I hope I didn't totally squash your offer xD I guess I want some answers or more detail. Let me know what you think.

Akira and Inari are quite different in personality haha. xD
what will happen when she finds out what she does? Two scenarios-
If they know she knows, then they won't sugar coat it, no harm will come to her just because she knows (I mean, someone's got to know or how else would they get business?), however they would prefer if it wasn't talked about in the open.
If by chance they don't know she knows then nothing, unless she says something, they will carry on without mention of their other trade.
Would she ever know? There's always a possibility, but this is all depending on different factors. Sometimes people hear things, they never openly speak of it with strangers but might with those who have made their acquaintance who may be interested in that.
Another scenario would be that she might over hear something or catch a brother in the act which might confuse her. One of their unspoken rules is to not get caught but they're not all perfect.
And finally anyone who they do deem important, have spent some time with or are possibly at risk, they will eventually tell, discreetly.
And how would he sway her to agree that what he is doing is just? They kill for trade but lives are sacred to them, often their methods are efficient and can be painless if the customer so chooses. Their prices are high so people cannot take the decision lightly, often when discussing the details with a customer they will make sure they know the full implications of what they are doing and what the soquili may be getting themselves into.
They are more inclined to take on "challenges" (soquili who are wilfully causing harm and misery) than random soquili who may have a grudge against each other over something trivial or a minor disagreement.
Dragging out the death or causing unnecessary pain is not encouraged but there's nothing to stop whichever brother may choose to indulge in their darker side.
Well if she's not totally freaked out then he will try to show her that it is not something taken lightly. He's not one to impart his beliefs on another because he knows it may cause a disagreement but he's a firm believer in animism, he sees the act as causing a soul to be freed from it's vessel to find a new life. For each soquili that die at their hand he plants seeds of a plant (non-are poisonous) and waters it in hopes that it'll grow on to be someone beautiful.
So in short, they kill to eat and they kill for trade, but they never eat those they kill for trade. There are also some soquili out of the question, children are one.
They can't eat berries or they'd have a funny tummy all the time and eventually die because of it...carnivores... they often fish from the rivers.
If she would ask why all the time, that would be pretty sad. That's okay... it was worth a shot.

Yeah I just don't see her ever totally agreeing with what he does just because it's still killing and death.
The only thing she would be okay with is that they eat for a living, but she would have to really be convinced that they would die without the meat. She lives with forest animals so she would be afraid they would be next on the menu. xD
I thank you for your interest in her though! c8 I'm sorry we couldn't come to some kind of middle ground. 8<
But if anything she could always be a friend? I don't know if they have friends or close people in their lives that aren't mates.
