Kamakura had nearly made it out of the building. The infuriating buzzing noise had been driving him absolutely Jacking insane. Suddenly there was a dark presence looming over him. As he turned slowly, the demon could make out and inky black creature. It's carapace was impossibly thick and gleamed darkly. His ears picked up a distinctive clicking noise as he felt fear rise in him. The creature was alien like, and horrifying. He tried to throw fire at it, but the thing was impossibly fast.
His screams of horror rang out as he felt the things tail coil around him.
"RHYS RUN--Ghuhh..." Blood pooled from his mouth as the thing's barb like tail shot through his suit, and pierced into his ribs. Pain raw and real wracked his tiny form as he screamed in agony and writhed. He gasped desperately for air as the piecing blade next punctured a lung. Yowling in pain, the demon clawed viciously at the thing to no avail. Thankfully his suffering would be short lived.
Tears streamed down his cheeks as he saw the things mouth open. It's blind dark eyes leered at the point where he was. While he lit on fire suddenly attempting to burn it, it meant nothing as the things jaw pieced through his throat. One last gurgled scream was uttered as he suddenly stopped fighting. Dark black blood oozed onto the floor...pooling as the thing's tail retreated from the now lifeless victims body. Kamakura lie motionless on the floor, his spacesuit spattered in his unnaturally dark demons blood.
Like that he faded from this existence. His eyes closed as he coughed..wheezing one final time as he ceased to remember this world and the awful creature. He wished he could have helped the other a bit more..but his role was over.
Kamakura woke in his dorm room screaming in sheer and utter horror. He bolted up right and looked around, tears streaming down his face. His chest hurt, and he reflexively touched it. While there was no blood, the pain had been raw and still felt very real. Sniffing, embarrassed her was crying like some scareling he curled into a ball in his bed and hid under his covers. What a Jacking awful nightmare. Sighing he rubbed his eyes as he glared across the room after seeing what time it was on his scarephone he might as well try and go back to sleep.

THE END
Finally!
The computer room. There was something here he knew he was supposed to do, so he approached what looked to be the main console and his body seemed to do the rest straight from memory, perhaps of the orders he'd been given before he woke up here. When he looked at the main screen he realized he was downloading information. The bar and the percentage inched closer to completion.
He was only a quarter of the way done when an alarm sounded, alerting whatever was on the ship that he was there. Nervous eyes glanced down at the numbers again, beads of sweat forming and rolling down the sides of his face as it inched along...but ultimately he decided it was too slow. It wasn't worth his life.
Rhys booked it back to the airlock.
A decision made too little too late. Soon he was surrounded by them, dark, bleak and bony bodies; aliens of the most disturbing nature. The blocked his way, cornered him and approached, made those tell-tale clicking noises as they smelled the fear coming off of him. He darted left and felt one of its tails wrap around his ankle.
He was jerked to the ground and he fell, face first. Tasted blood, mostly likely his own, as he was dragged away to a much larger group. More clicking and he felt one tail stab him as he struggled. Then another, then another. He cried out but choked, his throat already pooling with blood. His chest was heaving, desperate for air as he felt something rip through his lungs. Then his stomach.
Then his throat and his eyes and everything went black...
Rhys woke with a stat, shot upright wherever he'd passed out. He was drenched in sweat but he was cold and his heart was racing. A dream, that's all it seemed to be...and one he wouldn't soon forget.
