There was gold everywhere. She was literally swimming through it! Pokerus gawked at the scene before smirking, her claws scooping up as much gold as she could carry. Because jack dam it she was a dragon and she wanted all the golds.

With her pockets filled with coins, Pokerus crawled up one of the piles of gold, sitting herself on the top and lounging on top of it like the dragon she was. The reaper had disappeared, and there were still plenty of grunts out the front that would steal her gold stop her from exiting, so she could afford to laze around like the dragon she was, on a pile of gold, and see what else would transpire.

She probably should have been far more interested in the reaper. She probably should have followed after them. And figured out why exactly they were running for...

But.

Bu~t.

There was a large, LARGE room with many shinys and, Aureole being who she is, couldn't resist such an opportunity to increase her collection. Perhaps this was a distraction. Perhas... OR A GREAT FIND! Aureole wasn't going to ponder too much on such a thing.

It was 'pocketing as much as you can' time!

It was a good thing Aureole had so many pockets in her jacket. She had made sure it did when she had first ordered it from their clan's seamstress. Said Peryton Seamstress had been rather curious about it but hadn't pressed too hard after seeing Aureole's sweet smile.

Good thing she had! She was going to be using most, if not all, of the pockets.

"Raina is going to hate me for how much I'm bringing back." The mini had been trying to gesture her in getting rid of things but it just wasn't in her nature to do so. Collect or lose it forever. Not a prospect she was willing to risk.

Who knew gold was this heavy?

"By Jack's skull, this is going to be a pain to try and bring back..." She probably should have brought someone with her to help share the load. Bone Burner was going to love her to death though. She figured he'd be good at guarding it for her.

If she managed to bring it all back, that is.

With her many pockets, she began to look for an exit. That had been a thing she finally noticed.

There was no clear exit.

Aureole scrunched her mouth to one side as she wandered close to the walls, touching the various designs to try and find a secret door.

The cavern is filled with gold and treasures. The area most opposite of the door was more or less the same as the rest of this space.

The wall is not level, as the murals are carved into it rather than simple paintings. Nothing seems to be movable as far as any potential hidden triggers go.

The reaper arrived with a please hmmm of delight, "Well if this is what we're fighting over I think I chose the winning side." He waded his way into the gold pondering where to start when a mass of black ink started to swell up beside his feet morphing into his cat.

"It's the middle of the night why are you...." The cat paused as it slowly sank into a pile of gold coins. "Are we robbing a bank?!" That cat wasn't scandalized by this fact, no it sounded more like a dream come true in that moment.

"Oh jack no, this is under the school, those guys who gave us the lil boomboom box just happened to send me a text saying something was going down and well, low and behold yeah?" He said as he started inspecting each coin wondering if they where fakes before carefully putting them in his pocket

"False what are you doing!? Just grab more like the other guys!" The reaper scowled at his familiar, "And what if it's all fake? I want to be SURE I'm walking out of here richer and not loaded with fake coins..." Still it was clear the coins where probably legit so glancing about at the other students stocking up he started to shovel fistfuls of coins into his pockets.

False didn't stop he started grabbing chains of gold draping them over his neck and winding them around his cats belly even shoving some down his robes collar to rattle around inside his clothes before finally submitting to the fact that he had no more room to store the gold as he flopped into a pile slowly waving his arms and legs to make a 'snow' angel.

"We should come back here next time we need some spending cash I like this place." Sharpie looked at False with a raised eyebrow, "We should probably not tell anyone, I mean between everyone already in here we'd have to share the loot..."

This made False freeze his green eyes daring around at everyone in the room.

They where all competition for the gold...

Twitching his long pointed ears for the chinks from the coins falling down, Mellow couldn't believe what his eyes caught. Dazzling lights that hurt his eyes with each of his move, it was strange to see creeple swim in coins, countless of them. From afar, they look like sands in a desert. With each movement of those within it, loud jingling could be heard. It hurt the demon's sensitive ears.

Folding his ears down slightly, Mellow looked at the surrounding quietly and guessed the room looked like what Torsten described as dragon's hoard. Everything was shining, including himself was painted a golden hue by the reflection. Turning his arm through the lights, he seemed to feel the warmth from the color. It was a weird sensation, the demon took out his phone and calmly snapped some pictures to send to his best friend.

If there were sugar cubes, the equine might get excited but they were just some boring objects in golden color. Mellow flatly looked at the creeple madly scooped up coins to fill up their already stuffed pockets and slowly waded towards the middle. Even his intention was getting one as a souvenir for the dragon, the coins on the surrounding sank into his pocket without his notice.

The shininess of the gems or golden cup or the crowns didn't drive him to pick them up, in Mellow's mind, he judged by whether his friend would love to have the item and his expression for it. After a while, he got annoyed and wanted to get out. The demon looked around the wall for an exit but the sand-like coins sank him and stop him from moving. He was stuck :/

It was a shame when his feet couldn't even touch the floor steadily, he felt his feet sliding downward as he flailed his arms to push away the coins blocking his way out. What the jack........

Sammy glanced around as other wandered into the room and started to shuffle through the gold. Sammy bent down grabbing a few more coins wondering just who had left this here. They had found a lot of hidden and ancient stuff under the school before, but this one wasn't telling any stories. It wasn't like the fountain and the memories that lead them to a portal to enter Deus.

Sensing the urgency of the matter, Edel nodded a confirmation towards Xiu before heading through the gold emblazoned door. The sight that greeted her was a bit of a surprise, though it wasn't out of the question that Amityville might have had a treasure trove planted right under the gym.

Edel skimmed her hand through the sea of coins, picking up a handful for closer inspection. She might have to keep a few for reference, thinking it might be easier to get people to start talking and moving at the sight of gold. The bogeymen, as always, needed quite a lot of persuasion to get along with.

Yet amidst the sea of treasures, she was somehow certain that this wasn't what the two groups were troubling themselves for. Perhaps... something similar to what fell into her possession? The ghoul tossed the coin back into the pile. There wasn't any way she'd be able to find anything in here right now. She moved on to observe the murals on the wall, noticing the set up to be similar to the cave of wrath if not for the different theme.

“It's like searching for a needle in a haystack,” she sighed at Xiu, clearly having given up all intentions to look for something they didn't even know existed.
