supposedly there was some clown sightings in my state but no where near I live...I think....

clowns are active where i live. there's already been 10+ arrests Some people had actual weapons on them.

There have been rumors of some in my area and a vague threat about "on Halloween night the clowns will come out in (insert county name)" but I have yet to actually see one. I love Halloween so if it is ruined by a bunch of clowns it will be really upsetting!

I think its over in my city. No ones do e it in a while. Not after a little girl got caught threatening schools as a clown.

I personally believe the clown thing started as a paid-for-prank that went a little bit viral, but it's obviously a theatrical merchandising ploy to garner attention toward some film or another. In the small town I live in, Pickers, some show about auctions or something like that, came out and had a so-called legitimate auction for a rifle from either the Hatfield or McCoy family. There was supposed Hatfields and McCoys in the auction house. Either way, the folks that were there were paid and directed just like any other actors. So-called reality TV, I suppose. I can't watch the stuff. Anyway, we all know most of reality television is paid for and the folks are truly actors so this clown thing doesn't surprise me as being something the media and entertainment folks have concocted for their own nefarious agendas. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I'm a realist who knows what's inside the magician's hat due to experience and knowledge.
