Kisuke listened quietly to the proctor, when the match ups were announced Kisuke slowly looked over towards Raichi. It was almost as if they were destined to be against each other even though they were from the same village and were friends. If Raichi did the same, there eyes would meet. They knew they had to fight seriously now, this time Fang would be with him. It wouldn't be as easy as it was last time they fought. Kisuke walked over to Raichi."Guess it's time for our rematch. "Close range specialty, huh? I guess we're somewhat similar on that ground. My ability seems to allows me to be a little verstile with range. Thankfully, I was able to recently study some on close range moves, but more on that later."
Unki had taken her seat across from Shinji by now. She had grown quiet for a moment. Half contemplating the best set of words for an answer to his question about her home country, half tracing along the apparent proof of Shinji's muscles, disguised under thought heavy stare into "space". It was lunch at Edible Creations all over again: an attractive young man in her company choosing to casually remove clothing and revealing toned forms. FOCUS, UNKI!
"Right." the girl started off with a reach to her opposite arm and flicked the metal plate fastened on white cloth about her sleeve. Ow... Mistake. "Imagine being among clouds all day and tall, narrow mountains that are essentially hugged by buildings. Not all the buildings, though, it's sort of like a scaled setting. The weather isn't too bad. But I grew up is a different story. A bit more south of the Hidden village of the Land of Lightning, but the geography is varied more." Unki clasps her hands together, props her elbows on the table, and shifts her sights onto the outside world. "I could still see the mountains from the coast but they always looked bigger to me. The land feels a little like this but more rocks, different trees, minus the bright blue water, mix in some earthy sands, and a lot less tropical looking overall. It's weird. I almost feel at home here, more than I did in that little fishing village."
A soft sigh escapes her. Unki would look back over to Shinji. Warm with her expression and considerably refreshed from her brief recall. "I've not left the Land of Lightning until this examination thing. How about your perspective? Same question, but on your country, that is...."

Shinji listened to her story in a bit of wanderlust. He couldn't even fathom being that high up. It sounded so far out of his world that it was hard to imagine if he was honest. Once she was finished and the question was turned on him he thought about his words carefully for a moment.
"Right. For the most part its....well. Not quite jungle, but not quite forest. Somewhere in between. I only ever really got glimpses of the sky through the small parting of the trees or if I ever climbed for it so for the most part I'm always stuck in the shade. Plenty of rain as well.
It's been very quiet as well lately. I didn't see many genin or knew of many. Even odder is as far as I know we are on some sort of lock down. No real interaction with any villages outside of this if you would count it. Maybe it's because of our smaller military I guess.
I'm not worried though. This opportunity I took so I could learn from it, even if I lose, and come back to help my village stronger then before. Which reminds me. One of the participants who we are up against I recognized. She hasn't seen much of my fighting but she has seen a bit of it. So at least one of our opponents will know a bit of what to expected"
It felt like a lot to say out but he couldn't help but ramble when things came across his mind, or perhaps her habits were rubbing off on him already. Food was brought shortly after he had finished and Shinji didn't hesitate to start digging in, eating food in a near blur.

Raich had been sleeping on a little hammock style resting station he had set up on their journey but was awoken by their arrival at the docks to the island. Groggily, the young Senju reached up and rubbed at his eyes with the back of his hand before rolling over with the attempt to go back to sleep for another five minutes. This wasn't successful, however, simply due to the fact that when he rolled over to his side he caught a glimpse of the beauty that was this island resort.
Rolling over, even more, the patch clothed male slipped free from the hammock and fell down to the water below where he would land in roughly knee deep water next to the end of the boat. He would follow the proctors or whatever and then listen to what they had to say, half-assedly at that due to his attention being on the wonderful sights. He did retain one thing though, and that was who he was against: Kisuke.
It seemed that Kisuke was attentive towards this piece of information as well because he found himself staring directly into the eyes of the Inuzuka. "Yeah, guess so. Hopefully this time you don't go around throwing low blows. Sure would be a shame if there were sticks lying around for Fang to go and chase."

Well, that was a lot faster than Kagerou expected. Consequently, she wasn't ready for it, but that was okay. She was good at winging things… usually. Giving Yuna a friendly smile but not stopping her walk to the library, Kagerou returned the greeting, "Hello, Yuna. I look forward to working with you." A short pause. Then, for unspoken reasons, Kagerou tacked on, "I'll be trying my best in the upcoming match," as if trying to assure Yuna that there was nothing to worry about. Although, the assurance was as much for her as it was for anyone. Whatever her condition and whatever she thought was fine, she needed to do her best.
Settling into a casual conversation, Kagerou asked, "So did you get your room key?" instead of something useful, like what Yuna could do or how she preferred to fight. Even when anxiety and self-doubt stewed within her, Kagerou was quick to relax into a friendly demeanor.

Techniques learned with the 'To Copy' Sharingan ability, which can be swapped out, are not forgotten but must be retrained every time Kagerou safely swaps to the 'To Copy' ability. Instant swaps to the 'To Copy' ability give Kagerou all of her copied techniques without needing to retrain them. Plants cultivated by Kagerou grow as if the soil they are nourished by is +1 grade higher than it actually is. Unfertilized soil yields crops in 2 rl weeks. Low-grade fertilizer yields crops in 1 week. High-grade fertilizer reaches a new level of fast and yields crops in 4 days. (Post-acceptance note: I just realized that there is an Evergreen religion in this guild. I did not mean for this to be a religious PA in any way. It's just botany. I hope that's not a problem.)
Xion visibly perked up when she heard the name mentioned, quite happily too if the smile that spread across her face was any sign. Quickly, she memorized the owners voice, even his location. Her original plan, as in the plan she had made mere seconds ago, was to only remember the voice and then match it with a chakra signature later, when she could do it in privacy. She ditched this plan and came up with a new one. Well, it wasn't much of a plan so much as it was an impulsive action. Of course, the first plan was barely a plan as well.
Right there, in the lobby, Xion's hands flashed through a few hand seals. The results were harmless. It was just a sensory technique, and Xion used the Kagura's Mind's Eye to zoom in on the owner of the voice. Her enhanced resolution gave her to access to a bit of extra information. From what she gathered, Plum had a pretty large chakra pool, not as big as hers, but still bigger than a normal genin's, especially with a stamina pool of that size. There was also definitely the unique chakra traces of a bloodline. Which bloodline? Xion didn't know.
Xion was going to find out, though. Canceling her sensory technique, she blindly made her way to this person she was going to fight with in the next round. She knew what direction she had heard his voice in and she also knew the approximate distance. Using these two nuggets of knowledge, she successfully found herself standing in front of the two rivals. "Plum!" Xion said loudly, completely ignoring (or maybe just forgetting) that she was using a nickname she had not given anyone any warning of, "A pleasure to meet you. My name is Xion Akagami. I'll be fighting you in this upcoming round. I didn't recognize your bloodline when I sensed it earlier, so could you tell me what it is?". It appeared Xion was a firm believer in honesty being the best policy… or she just didn't think it mattered. Yeah, she just didn't think it mattered. She was terrible at lying anyways. Her eyes stared in… well, either Plum's direction or Shoe's direction. She couldn't tell which was which at the moment. However, the stare was just a little off from where the face would have been. She could tell where people were standing, but not in enough detail that she could tell exactly where the body began and ended.

Zoom Sensor [ The user has a vast eye, able to quadruple the range of a given sensory technique, often allowing them to sense things even outside of the given area (across threads). This vast range, however, makes it difficult to detect fine details. The user is only able to know that chakra is there, or that chakra is being activated. Blind Resolution Personal Attribute [ Xion was born blind, a curse placed upon her for her parents' faults. For that reason, she will never experience sight. No ocular implant can restore her vision and even genjutsu cannot imitate the sensation of sight for her. In exchange, being blind has rewired Xion's brain to enhance her other senses, primarily the ability for her hearing and chakra sensing to pick out minute details (but not necessarily an increase in what both senses pick up) but also her smell and even touch to gather what little details they can. Chet didn't find any bar in the resort. "What kind of ******** resort is this?" He grumbled walking outside by himself. The only alcohol he had was in his bong and he hated drinking too much out of it. For the first time he caught himself thinking about the battle and what it would be like. Chet loved fighting. He felt more alive beating the living hell out of someone than doing drugs, but ironically enough drugs didn't get him into as much trouble and the academy teachers were really stuck up about sparring. Kicking some pebbles around on the floor he picked a few up. "Hmm." Performing a couple hand seals Chet performed Iwane Banpu on 10 small rocks inbuing them with chakra. He would then put them in his pocket for later. He'd continue his trip into the island mainland away from the resort. Maybe he would find a native with booze.

Personally, Kagerou thought it'd be a lot less hassle to get the keys now, but to each their own. She said this opinion out loud, in fact, "Well, to each their own," while stopping at an intersection of hallways. She looked down both ways before choosing the direction she remembered the library being in, at least according to what she learned in the lobby. "So Yuna," Kagerou asked, smiling as usual, when she resumed walking, "What do you think of the exams so far?".

A land with little visible sunshine and rain strikes her as tolerable, almost. Unki thought about how she, however, would miss the sun's warmth if she were suddenly pitted in such an environment. The girl would unfold and retract her arms from the table top, anticipating the arrival of an omelet shortly, and to the top of her head. Her fingers busy pulling, puffing, and priming her top-knot before breakfast and continues on speaking: "The rain in your homeland sounds nice to an extent, but I have to comment the lack of active genin floating about is undoubtedly spooky. Makes me wonder if this lock-down mode is the Sound military preparing itself for improvement."
From her revitalized top-knot Unki would continue on and fluff her hair to drape behind her shoulders: bulky braids and all. "That may be. With some luck, having the two of us working together could throw her off."
Wait, am I hearing things? It rang as suspicious to hear a faint, probable "bloop" in the vicinity. Kneeling to her suspicions Unki would attempt to cast a look over her shoulder, yet, the timely arrival of breakfast threw her off course. Fruit. Perfectly prepared wedges of green melon and cheery red berries plated with a steaming omelet. A tall glass of water came too. The girl eyed the glass between bites of egg and berry. All she had to do was touch the surface of liquid to firmly form a statement about her innate abilities. She found Shinji a bit absorbed in his breakfast though pay much mind. He must have been hungry.
There was the option of revealing her ability by a game: discreetly deplete the glass of water without drinking any. However, there was a flaw in her initial thought: should she grow impatient, which was likely, her game could resort to a clumsy display of wedging her hand in a drinking glass. At that point, Unki would have to admit her intention at risk of presenting herself with bad manners or looking like an idiot who forgot that tipping glasses over was an option.
Credit to the tasty omelet distracting her for stopping that horrible plan from happening. Instead, Unki would take one strawberries in hand and raise it to eye level, as if she were inspecting quality, then exerted enough energy to ignite a steamy burst between two fingers. The berry's shape was mostly maintained but lumpy and lack luster in color. She would repeat, wordlessly, onto two more berries and set them back on her plate and continued to nibble away at the eggs.
Side by side, the dehydrated berries and their hydrated cousins weren't all that different in appearance. I wonder how perceptive he is?

Yuna frowned at the question. "It has been annoying as heck. We pretty much ran around in circles, and then had to fight a giant shrimp, got back and then pretty much had to guess which boat to get on." She said frustrated at the run around she went through.
"Ahaha...," Kagerou gave a slightly dead laugh. To an extent, she could relate. Although, instead of running around the village, she did all her running en route to the village just to barely make it in time. She suddenly stopped mid-laugh. Just laughing. She continued to walk. Her eyes lit up with realization. An "Aha!" escaped from Kagerou's lips. This time, it was an exclamation rather than a laugh. Her hands clapped together, further accentuating Kagerou's small eureka moment. It didn't take long for her to share, "I think I saw you earlier at the docks, right? With the pony tail boy and the big dog? Heh... This is a bit embarrassing. I introduced myself back there as well, so that means I gave my name twice. Oops." Despite admitting to a mistake, Kagerou didn't seem all that bothered about it. If anything, she was smiling even wider, being happier to have found a moment the two shared before their unexpected partnership.
As Kagerou reminded Yuna about their brief meeting earlier, the pair reached the doors to the library. As she was in the lead, Kagerou held the door open for Yuna before entering the library after her.

• Specialist -The user chooses to specializing in healing medical techniques and gains a great boost to their chakra control in that area. At Chunnin, they gain a -5 chakra reduction to perform techniques in their specialty. at Jounin, -10, at Konin -15 at Sannin -20. To clarify, they they gain a -5 chakra reduction every rank, to a maximum of -20 at sannin. All medical jutsu are still learnable by both sides, but the chakra control only applies to the chosen side.
• Grand Performance - The user can perform both types of arts (ninjutsu and genjutsu) through their performance or instrument, often casting them at the same time (must pay for both techniques). Can perform D rank techniques through instrument at gennin, C at Chunnin, B at jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin.
• Learn Medical techniques one (1) post faster.
• Learn ninjutsu (1) post faster.
• Learn genjutsu one (1) post faster.
• D"eye"versity - Through the use of custom techs, Kagerou can swap between the normally limited abilities and techniques for her sharingan, potentially giving her access to all eye abilities and mangekyou techs. She can never have more than the written limits at any one time (e.g. access to all eye abilities but cannot use more than two at a time). In addition to learning the required custom and whatever additional requirements that custom might have, Kagerou needs to fulfill certain conditions for a safe swap. Each Sharingan ability or technique swapped must be retrained and adjusted to, a process that takes twenty [20] posts at first for each Sharingan ability/technique, is reduced by two [2] posts every time the Sharingan ability/technique is safely retrained, and can take a minimum of six [6] posts per Sharingan ability/technique. If necessary, Kagerou can perform a riskier, instant swap on the fly without the readjustment period, but these swaps can only last for up to five [5] posts and disables the Sharingan, which needs to recover from the strain, for twice [x2] the number of posts that the swap lasted for. Techniques learned with the 'To Copy' Sharingan ability, which can be swapped out, are not forgotten but must be retrained every time Kagerou safely swaps to the 'To Copy' ability. Instant swaps to the 'To Copy' ability give Kagerou all of her copied techniques without needing to retrain them. For every time Kagerou safely swaps to her 'To Copy' ability, her copied techniques take two [2] less posts to retrain, going down to a minimum of one [1] post to retrain each copied technique.
• Miracle Performance - Kagerou can perform healing eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. When performing healing medical techniques, she can target anyone who can hear her music with the jutsu. I.e. she no longer has to be within touch range of the target to use healing hands.
• The Good Host - 1/2 off all implant chakra requirements.
• Mind and Body - A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. To ensure the health of all three, Kagerou must master every aspect of medicine. Kagerou gains an additional medical field type. The additional type needs to be trained separately from the first.
• Evergreen Growth - Life always finds a way, especially when it's helped by someone who truly cherishes it. Plants cultivated by Kagerou grow as if the soil they are nourished by is +1 grade higher than it actually is. Unfertilized soil yields crops in 2 rl weeks. Low-grade fertilizer yields crops in 1 week. High-grade fertilizer reaches a new level of fast and yields crops in 4 days. (Post-acceptance note: I just realized that there is an Evergreen religion in this guild. I did not mean for this to be a religious PA in any way. It's just botany. I hope that's not a problem.)

The Inuzuka smirked at Raichi retort. "Don't worry, that was a spar. This is a battle, there's a clear line between them. Fang wasn't participating in the last fight so he was goofing off. But this time, he'll be focused." He was serious, but couldn't help but break out in laughter along with Raichi. It was going to be a fun match up. He wondered who this hatsu character was, would he be someone to look out for in the match up? As he was thinking, a women dressed as a maid appeared before them shouting plum very excitedly. She wasn't looking directly at Kisuke or Raichi but more of in the middle of the both of them. Where Fang was sitting. He looked at Raichi with the do you know her? look. She introduced herself as Xion, who was going to be his teammate. But it seemed she was talking to Raichi because she said she was going to be fighting him in the next round. She would have said something different if she was talking to him. Kisuke then realized something a few seconds later, she was... blind? He should known sooner from the obvious signs but he was still trying to figure out why she called out plums. Fang had sat silently between the two so far, but the arrival of a new person he hadn't met before piqued his interest. His tail wagged slightly as the women approached. He didn't move from his position at Kisukes side though.

XXXXX XXXXX "Oh did you, I'm sorry I was kinda out of it when we got back. Had been out at sea for several hours and took a few hits from a giant shrimp." Yuna said entering the library as she found an open chair to sit down.
Upon getting off the boat, Hatsu would find herself in a beautiful island resort, which was to be the next stage of her exams. One of the examination monitors would then explain the island, as well as the match-ups for the next round. Shortly after she would hear her name being called out by a young man. Curious as to what they wanted she would approach him, bowing. "I am she, My I ask what your name is?" A gentle cool aura protruded from her, chilling the area around her and calming those she passed by.

Tsumetai [ Cold to the Touch ]: The skin of each Shinsetsu clan member is chilled; producing a refreshing, almost intoxicating aura. This aura does not stretch far from one's person, and only the Shinsetsu and those in direct contact with him/her can truly appreciate the feeling. Because of this attribute, humidity is a foreign concept to the Shinsetsu, and only the most extreme of heats will cause those within tsumetai's effect to break a sweat. Additionally, this consistent cold has weathered their skin and innards, providing an internal and external resistance to freezing temperatures. Although not exactly topical, it should be noted that thanks to their relaxing aura, the Shinsetsu are considered some of the most desirable lovers in the world.
