At this time the room continued to fill up with several individuals. "N-no..no thank you!" She sputtered as she leaped to her feet. " I just received my headband but a few hours ago...I don't know any real jutsu besides the academy techniques." she hung her head, slightly ashamed of having to decline her request. " But I will get stronger! You'll see!" Being determined, having had the Kazekage express her desire to see Rin fight, Rin dashed off, heading to the training grounds...she couldn't disapoint. Besides, she had to fulfill her goal as well, it was no time to sit and rest.

Atsuma made his way to the lounge once again and unlike before found it full of the individuals he would either be fighting or that had lost. He hadn't been paying attention to the announcements so they were all the same to him. A girl bumped into him on her way out. She seemed very nervous by the way she ran. Atsuma looked behind himself and then back at the people in the room for some sign of information as to what was going on.

Atsuma noticed that the Kazekage was there. The same Kazekage who was absent when he went to receive his headband. It was quite alright in his book. She was a bust lady! The busiest in Sunagakure he could not expect someone such as herself to take the time out of her day for a simple gennin such as Atsuma. The boy would walk up to her and bow politely. "It is an honor to meet you Lord Kazekage. I will do right by you and our village of Sunagakure from here on out. This village is my home and will fight for it until I have nothing left." He spoke formally.
There she was. The Kazekage of the Hidden Sand Village. Oh and she had a puppy with her as well. Toya wanted to vomit at it's scent. Animals were only meant to have their heads displayed on a mantel. She made a mockery of Toya and one that he would NEVER forget. He was not just any gennin he was Toya Takahashi! She would be insane not have read his academy grades and recommendations he was an exemplar student yet she did not show up for his headband ceremony...Maybe she knew. It would make sense it would make so much sense it was the only possibility it was the only logical explanation it was the only virtual chance of an explanation it- The eyes that watched him must have informed her. She was the Kazekage after all. She knew and she resented him.....

When the Lady Kazekage appeared at her side with her truthful and consoling words the moment felt strange. When the woman referred to the match, it felt as if the the Kazekage had torn into private on-goings which the puppeteer had almost forgotten wasn't at all that private. The match wasn't boxed in, closed off, or hidden. Others were there and saw the rapid events that followed onto her opponent's final attack. The overall gesture was comforting. Sadayo would nod firmly and managed to shake off a surge of dismal thoughts, most, at least The Kazekage was right. After the esteemed woman moved on to speak with an apparent genin across the way, Sadayo would run her thumb quickly under her eyes one by one as her head hung briefly. “Yes.” Her voice creaks a single reply upon raising her head. The words “my love” marks the beginning of a lovesick soliloquy. Sadayo wasn’t expecting it, really. Frankly, Sadayo desired little to do with feelings of love right now. She would turn her head slightly but not quite enough to fully capture Tetsuhiko in her sights. He had dedicated his match to her, a sweet notion, but little in the ways effective. She didn’t see it. She had none of the match’s details and, consequently, had little attachment to his means of flattery. In her state, teetering on the fine yet unstable line between fear of the “what if’s” and disappointment, Sadayo had little interest to neither humor or contest his love. “Chestnut. My hair is chestnut brown.” The girl would sigh, ”in this lighting, who knows what you really see though. This time, Sadayo would actually look back at Tetsuhiko with hope that he’d grasp onto the hint on the reality of things. Still, a look of defeat. Then his voice came through. Seems Masato brought himself here. Sadayo would turn her head, slowly but surely, back forward to face the tabletop.
Then the entry door opened again. This time a well-groomed man, with broad shoulders, fit, and with a head of hair the same dark brown color as the young kunoichi puppeteer makes an entrance. In his hand, he carried a small unmarked gift box wrapped carefully with a decorative, colored, string. He looked and felt out of place in the observation deck in contrast with his older age and dark, casual apparel. The declining trace of a heavy scar curving from the lower corner of his forehead, through his left eyebrow, and near to his left temple could suggest he also have seen his fair share of action. A stern, however, aloof expression on his face. An uninvited guest, perhaps? Still, the man’s intentions were simple and certain to remain only long enough to talk to his daughter and present her with the box. He would step aside and out of the way. He was quiet and displayed little emotion aside from a raise of his brows as he scanned the room. The man would only glance at a handful of the others before narrowly locating the green-clad kunoichi who was being accosted by a grandly dressed youth.
The man would hesitate before going further after eyeing that the Lady Kazekage and her dog were present. He would approach from the opposite side of Sadayo and clear his throat to detach the boy from his love-fed speech.

As the man whom held a box separated the love struck nin the echoing chime of a Shakujo chimed behind said casanova possibly the result of the two having bumped into each other. A small girl barely breaking five feet added more dark clouds to the aspiring romantics pleas for affection. Her sudden presence to say the least may have came off as ghost like as her feet were not attached to the floor hovering only slightly. A purple barrier of ominous chakra circling the entirety of her presence. Even greater was the fact three paper dolls floated above her head and left and right shoulders as if being possessed themselves. "Un bara Un hata. A spirit of lust and desperation emanates strongly from your soul un hata." The words spoken calmly the girl herself giving off a cold air and the mystery of how long had she been in the room.
Formerly in the supply closet out of sight Kyomei with no interest of participating in anything violent such as a tournament had taken to cleaning the observation room. This was made apparent as anybody who would take notice would find she had broom held firmly betwixt her smol hands. Being the resident exorcist she felt out of place in such a thing. Plus in accordance with the Wu-wei such a thing would prove most against her Taoist traditions. More importantly the only faces she even recognized was the white haired demon of whom she actively avoided and seemed to be in the process of his own wooing, Sadayo, and the lady Kazekage.
Suddenly she would begin speaking to er well, the broom. Eyes shut now and listening intently. "Ah, un hata, there are dust demons beneath the counter you say?" Much like the cemetery the child's firm belief in the hive mind that is the broom species was prevalent. Almost with absent minded delight she floated collecting the accumulating dirt of participants around the observation room. Chances were like herself, many in the room would be clueless to who this was. As she was never in the Sands academy. To some perhaps it may have been unsettling to see her float like a ghost. Some maybe even coming to rash conclusions that she was an actual ghost. Although a sand headband did dangle on her Shakujo.

When the Mantra concludes the user spins their staff allowing for one final interruption and then slams it into the ground. All eight symbols glow with light corresponding to their elements fuse together into one giant ring that appears to be an eight sectioned circle with the symbol 真 [Shin] [Purity] in the center. A unfathomably powerful blast that could decimate an entire village if fired downward from the sky shoots forward. However, the beam inflicts no harm to anyone or any structure...unless it is a strange creature, impure of heart, tainted by evil, or wishes to do harm. The technique essentially, even then, does no damage, instead, it places a feeling of tranquility on all evil or violent intentions shutting them away briefly and crossing over any wayward spirits. The option for this technique to cause mass amounts of damage and destruction is possible but is considered Taboo in all accounts and doing so would destroy the weapon and make it's wielder unfit to ever wield another Keihatsu ever again. Even then, such is only achievable by tampering with the chanters rings discreetly carving [Shi] [Death] on each ring. Which no wielder could do themselves as it would make them unfit to wield the Keihatsu. This was only discovered when a former Keihatsu user asking for purity [Shin] to be engraved on the weapon by a blacksmith was accidently replaced with [Shi] the result was labeled in history as [The Black Tragedy]. While it's mark in history was minimal and the small settlement lost wasn't noteworthy the Keihatsu's capability of destruction was discovered that day and only the most heavily versed scholars are aware of it as even many who've unlocked the Keihatsu's abilities are unaware of this. Unfortunately devout historian's because of this are incredibly suspicious of all wielders of the Keihatsu.

__ The Prince of Clan Hanzo could tell by Sadayo's expression she was depressed, defeated, outdone, the fire had left her eyes. "What is she so sad about? Did her dog die? Did she lose her match? Did she even compete?" He thought in a panic until suddenly he was rudely interrupted by the presence of some sort of mail man with a small silver haired lass walking behind him and she was speaking in some sort of bizarre chant. "Hmph." He said before backflipping a few times towards a piano and sitting down in front of it. Tetsuhiko was quite the acrobat and that was obvious to all who would bear witness to the grand performer. "I will not be upstaged!" The artist was frustrated and would continue to prove himself.
He stretched his fingers and arms over the piano with a smile before speaking. "Alright everyone, listen up! This song is dedicated to my love and desert rose, Sadayo Soga!" Suddenly, his skillful puppeteer fingers began to tickle the ivories of the grand piano. Beautiful, relaxing music played out of it as Tetsuhiko touched the keys. He had been playing piano for many years, this was the first instrument he ever learned to play. "Nothing like the elegance of a grand piano." The musician thought with glee as he played the piano. The song was audible to everybody in the room, but the beautiful music was far from intrusive to the conversations of others.
The young woman hoped that she could some day have the same hope for herself that Nari had for her, he always seemed to proud of her and believed more in her than she did to herself. She made herself comfortable in her lap, as the man was at least a foot taller than her. She saw Sadayo come in shortly after, she could tell by the girl's body language how shaken she was. She didn't blame her; she had been gone for the beginning of Sadayo's gennin career but she didn't believe that the girl could have gotten much battle experience in, and to go against such a loud and offensive opponent... it had to be terrifying. She remembered her first dangerous mission, the fear that ran through her blood like ice. Granted, her first dangerous task was against a huge army that she had no hope against and not in a controlled setting, but she could understand the fear. Sonyo's face knitted together a look of worry, and she went to place her glass down and move toward the female when the Kazekage strolled in. Sonyo resigned herself to just sit there in Nariomi's lap, the elder woman took the words straight from her mouth. There was no reason to add insult to injury.
The door banging open startled the young woman once more, causing a squeak to slip between her lips. Her look of worry changed to a look of annoyance as Sonyo looked back towards the door, she knew her reaction would probably get a chuckle from Nari; he probably thought it was adorable, she had to work on not getting scared by small things. She recognized the man as the shinobi Sadayo went against and she had to admit she was impressed by his skill and his nerve, but now outside of the battlefield he was just mad and overly aggressive. The young man eventually made his way over to her and Nari, seeming to completely disregard her entirely, and talk to Nari as if he had known him for years. Did this kid not know what manners were? Was he raised in a barn? If she had gone up to her teacher and greeted him so plainly the amount of times a bamboo stick would be drawn across her knuckles by her mom- Sonyo stopped herself, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. She slowly slid her slender frame from Nari's lap and gave the male a kiss on the cheek. "I'll be back, Nari. Keep my drink safe for me." She placed the glass of lemonade on the bar beside him and then made her way towards Sadayo, finally getting the nerve to talk to her now that it seemed like she had calmed down a bit.
Drawing closer to the female, she saw that she was being... courted? by the man that she had met earlier. Tetsuhiko was his name, she faintly recalled, but the image of the male she had met then and the male standing before her now... He was playing the piano, beautifully she'd like to add, but Sadayo just seemed annoyed. Sonyo stopped nearby, waiting for the man who had just arrived to finish his business. She wouldn't interrupt Sadayo, just patiently wait at a respectful distance. Unlike some people, she had manners. Her mother only beat them in to her untill she could recite them in her sleep.

Horus flew Taylor to the observation area. The bird dropped him in front of the entrance before flapping his wings once more. "I understand." Taylor said. The boy knew that Horus would not fit comfortably inside such a tight area. The bird flew off as Taylor entered. Once inside, he was entranced with the soft melody of the piano. It was truly a long time since he heard music. The last time he heard anything so pretty was when he was still a servant in getsugakure. It felt odd to hear it now without being expected to serve another. Just another thing to get used to.
Regardless, the young boy moved over to the pianist, who he recognized from the group spar as Tetsuhiko. The guy seemed much more tamed while he played than Taylor could anticipate, since he knew the puppeteer was naturally dramatic. Perhaps the solemn song helped calm the pianist? Whatever it was, Taylor pulled up a chair and watched the man play his song. It was so soothing to his soul to hear music once more. He hoped it would never stop. All the while Horus continued to fly around the observation area, waiting for the next fight to begin.

A subtle change in her expression as a watered-down smirk was irresistible when Sadayo tuned into Kyomei’s voice. Sadayo’s own floating, ghostly, wall of a girl had arrived to drive away the lovesick artist. Tetsuhiko left their side in his own flamboyant storm.
Oh, good, piano music. The piece came off to the puppeteer as having a thoughtful undertone both repetitive but delicate and none of that really helped. If he wanted to create a mood, boy, Tetsuhiko sure managed to make one. Another gruff noise can from the man who stood beside her. He didn’t look to be the impatient type. But, then again, he didn’t look like he had many emotions to show either from the brief time he’s been standing there: Sadayo’s “Poker-faced” papa.
Her father Gorô, was the self-proclaimed master of the deadpan-mask craft and for now he would choose to break his refined veneer the second he took Sadayo’s interest. She would perk up and address him before brushing any remaining trace of tears. ”D-ad…?” Alleged Postman Gorô would display the gift box front and center and Sadayo would take his present. She would absently stare at the box and pluck at its glittery string.
”Go ahead and open it.” He would ask, taking another step closer and turning his body to line up with Sadayo’s form. Her father would lower his head, to her level some, before speaking again: “what’s inside exactly was very difficult to come by. Your mom and me wanted to give this to you as a reward regardless of the tournament’s outcome.”. As Sadayo began to slowly move the glittery string from the box, her father would place his arm to rest on her shoulder and look back up at those around them. Gorô furrows his brow at sight of the boy who had gone to play the piano, a few white-haired genin running about, a weird bird flying about the ceiling, the shinobi leader, a girl, and the young man whom his eldest daughter fought addressing some unknown in the chair before turning his attention forward again. Gorô visibly expresses very little to nothing in terms of facial cues hinting to disapproval of Sadayo’s previous opponent as the young man had performed what was expected of him in the match, despite the notable excessiveness in his degree of force. As a former fellow warrior, Gorô understood the ferocity of the match, but as Sadayo’s parent, Gorô had an inner monologue outlined about how he would chide the young man for the nature of his attacks to his child should his shinobi superiors fail to do so.
The contents of a box was a mask which was reminiscent of a stage mask only with weird bird-like mask. Like, a theater mask depicting a certain man-bird deity however with features of the wrong sort of bird. Sadayo wasn’t too sure to make use of it until her father spoke again and explained that in order to understand the purpose of this mask would require study. A paper note, taped on the underside of the mask, would list a single phrase hinting at what she must learn.
Gorô would collect the emptied box and string leaving Sadayo to hold the mask on her lap. He would look at Sadayo, while brushing a hand over the back of her head, and switch to look back in the direction of the broom-wielding exorcist floating about on the other side. “I will admit to not being certain of what the acrobatic pianist was doing, but you’ve found yourself a good gatekeeper to sweep off spirits? Was it?”
Sadayo shook her head a bit, looked up at her father, and made a cycling motion with her fingers upon her soft reply, “reverse it.” In reference to the role of “gatekeeper”, Sadayo felt it was the other way around, but exclude spirits. Now,Gorô didn’t understand exactly was supposed to be reversed and swapped the topic. ”I should be going now,” he said, picking up his deadpan facade before turning to leave. “This place doesn’t seem to be the setting for ordinary spectators. After all, I managed my way up here to give you that and let you know that I’m proud of you.” He let a warm smile break through, though, just for a second. Gorô would go for the exit with little delay. His hand was placed on the doorknob before he paused. Gorô looked back over his shoulder and leaves behind one ambiguous remark. ”I guess I can spoil the surprise some. It’s a bird.”

Inadvertently the 'hopeless romantics' tickling of the ivories made the young exorcists broomancy function on a metronome like beat. Swaying with the broom and the music. Surprisingly this made her job more efficient. Although the girl herself didn't realize it. Most music was a foreign concept to the youngling, if it wasn't a shamisen or koto she had little knowledge on the subject. Description: The Keihatsu emits a super natural glow, one that often synchronizes with the user's own chakra. Aside from this glowing the Keihatsu bares no other physical difference from it's previous form as a Chowa.

►8 Ring Shattering: Rank: X Description: The Keihatsu's rings can separate themselves from the the staff they are attached to, they then grow up to an incredible size. Ranging up to Eight feet in diameter. The rings can be freely controlled by the wielder using the staff as a conduit to direct them. (5-Chakra Per Ring. A Total of 40 Chakra For 8: Rings must be sustained whilst in flight.) The rings are then often intended to place a target in their vacant center and contract immediately to restrict the target. If any of the rings are broken the remains turn into a ball of spiritual light and return to the staff as a normal sized ring and is placed in a temporary recovery period (1 Post). If the Keihatsu is ever disarmed all currently floating rings fall to the ground and return to their normal size. The rings can also be used in conjunction with Shakujou styles if logical. The weaponized rings strength is equivalent to the user's amounted expended for stamina with Formless Style: Shakujou.

The target that meets all the criteria 1eing A Strange Creature 2:Harboring/Portraying Violent Tendencies cannot use any of their supernatural strength, skills, or powers, and effectively are stripped of all defenses up to the rank of rings used. Sacred Detainment then drains half said X-ranks worth of Chakra each post it is sustained. Sacred Detainment Does Work on Jinchuuriki but to a lesser extent only being treated as one X-ranked amount less and only stripping them of their [ Demon Techniques and Benefits ] equal to the amount of rings detaining them. When the Mantra concludes the user spins their staff allowing for one final interruption and then slams it into the ground. All eight symbols glow with light corresponding to their elements fuse together into one giant ring that appears to be an eight sectioned circle with the symbol 真 [Shin] [Purity] in the center. A unfathomably powerful blast that could decimate an entire village if fired downward from the sky shoots forward. However, the beam inflicts no harm to anyone or any structure...unless it is a strange creature, impure of heart, tainted by evil, or wishes to do harm. The technique essentially, even then, does no damage, instead, it places a feeling of tranquility on all evil or violent intentions shutting them away briefly and crossing over any wayward spirits. The option for this technique to cause mass amounts of damage and destruction is possible but is considered Taboo in all accounts and doing so would destroy the weapon and make it's wielder unfit to ever wield another Keihatsu ever again. Even then, such is only achievable by tampering with the chanters rings discreetly carving [Shi] [Death] on each ring. Which no wielder could do themselves as it would make them unfit to wield the Keihatsu. This was only discovered when a former Keihatsu user asking for purity [Shin] to be engraved on the weapon by a blacksmith was accidently replaced with [Shi] the result was labeled in history as [The Black Tragedy]. While it's mark in history was minimal and the small settlement lost wasn't noteworthy the Keihatsu's capability of destruction was discovered that day and only the most heavily versed scholars are aware of it as even many who've unlocked the Keihatsu's abilities are unaware of this. Unfortunately devout historian's because of this are incredibly suspicious of all wielders of the Keihatsu.

__ The pianist Tetsuhiko hung his head in disappointment when he looked back and saw no visible reaction from Sadayo. "What do I keep doing wrong?" He thought somberly as he finished his song. His smile had faded into a frown as he stared at the piano keys for a few seconds. Then he turned his head and saw a cheery lad clad in his signature booty shorts and high socks, it was none other than Taylor Childe. Tetsuhiko used his masterful acting to beam a smile in his direction. "Hi Taylor! I remember you from the training grounds earlier, I think you were the one who sent that exploding lightning clone at my beautiful Artemisia." He tapped his finger to his chin for a few moments recalling his previous interaction before continuing. "Do you like music? Any special requests?" The Iron Prince asked with a cheery tone as he rested his fingers upon ivory keys waiting for a response.
Taylor's eyes widened as soon as Tetsuhiko spoke to him. He was too deeply entranced in the music to notice the person the puppeteer was playing for, or the other person shouting their names from the heaven. The music took him to a different place, but now that he has returned it was time to respond. "I'm glad to be remembered, Tetsuhiko. Although I don't recall attacking you." The boy replied. In his mind, the only person he interacted with was Masato. He knew that Horus kept some of the other fights at bay, so maybe that was what Tetsuhiko was referring to. When the boy asked for any request, his heart pound. "Oh, I don't know..." He said shyly. Slowly, but then all at once, he found the confidence to stand. He then walked over to Tetsuhiko and stood beside the sitting pianist. "I don't remember the name of the song, but it went something like this." He said as he hesitantly played the first few notes of the song. He played them slowly and carefully, trying to recall if they were correct. After a few key strokes, however, he was sure he had the melody down. "If you know it, then I would love to hear it one more time." He said with a warm smile before he returned to his seat. The song had so much meaning to him that he didn't know if he could hold back his tears if it was performed. Regardless, he readied himself for whatever outcome.

__ Tetsuhiko nodded to his peer as he watched him rise and stand next to him. When he touched the keys the musical mind of Tetsuhiko immediately picked up the notes. The song was familiar to him as he had a hobby of collecting as many records as possible for his studio over at Tetsushiro Manor. Despite Tetsuhiko's general extraversion, there were few activities that delighted him more than locking himself in his art studio and puppet workshop at home and creating art with no human interaction for days on end. When he saw Taylor sit back down he smiled gleefully. "Your wish is my command, friend." The musical young man threw his hands up and down dramatically before mimicking the first few notes and elaborating on the song. Tetsuhiko was a fan of doing his own covers of songs, but he wanted to replicate the requested song as closely as possible.
Taylor was his single audience and he played the piano as beautifully as he could for him. He felt in flow with the music and moved in its ephemeral wake along with Taylor. The moment felt profound as he played the keys and strung the notes together in such a way to pull at Taylor's heartstrings. This received the entirety of his focus, an opera for one. Tetsuhiko became emotionally vulnerable and opened up his soul through song for Taylor.
And Gorô was gone on a good note, at least. Sadayo held the mask in both hands to study it for a moment before she put it away in her bag. She sat in her seat for a moment longer to mull over the last warm words Gorô parted with until she took note of the change of tune. The last piece of music was dedicated to her and all she did was sulk and hide herself behind her father’s arm for the short window he was here. Both the music and her father had left too soon. She had been so cold to Tetsuhiko just a few minutes ago when he was being so nice to her. It was as if she’d blatantly forgotten her personal preference to avoid leaving the wrong impression on others. After all, in her line of work, she would be in need of helping hands from ninja like Tetsuhiko (where she doesn’t know enough about them or their ability to deem how valuable to her they are yet.) Of course he’s valuable right? He’s a puppeteer and I know that for a fact. What else? Sadayo sighed, shrugged, inhaled a shaky breath, and got up from her seat. She looked guilty on top of the generally “unhappy” demeanor as she approached the other side of the piano. Her sights went from Tetsuhiko before sinking to the piano and noiselessly pretending to drum the instrument. Patiently.

Bast waltzed right on in to the observation area looking a bit sandier than usual. She grumbled something about sandstorms as she found a seat near the middle of the crowd of onlookers. In her distraction it took her a few moments to realize that Tetsuhiko was abusing the piano in as elegant and effective a way as possible, something she probably would have called "playing" if she were in a better mood. She didn't say anything, though, instead ordering a plate of the first thing she saw on the menu. Negotiations with foreign powers were generally stressful and she had worked up an appetite as a result.
