The sands had been hot and the sky strangely clear considering the odd happenings as of late. Tsu’Tey welcomed the sun, even though the heat was reflecting off the sand. His eyes were fixed forward, brow furrowed from squinting in the bright daylight. They had been moving since the previous night - making slow progress with the small collection of members that had followed him. He hadn’t wanted to make a big show of him coming to inspect this foreign object, as he had actually wanted to downsize its appearance all-together. But, there were always those who chased power, and also those who were fascinated by the strange. He only hoped that once he arrived he would be able to convince everyone that there was nothing wrong, and that this object was just something they would have to deal with in their everyday lives from now on.

Taking steady strides, his gaze could now see the object clearly. It was immediately larger than he had initially assumed from the reports, and he slowed his pace, taking a moment to absorb everything. He glanced to his Fang, Izinyo, making subtle gestures with his eyes. Making a stop, he motioned for his party to continue forward without him, wanting a solitary moment away from the crowds and the gossip.

It was clear that the King had arrived; but he did not look like he was in wanting of a public speech just yet.

With the approach of Morte, Hou put on a smile that she was usually known for even if it didn't quite reach her eyes. In all her time as a Clan Leader there had never been too big or strange of a problem that they couldn't resolve, but this...this was very strange.

"Well...maybe that we're growing some strange trees here now?" she said with a little weak laugh, trying to lighten the obviously nervous mood that had settled over the group of those that had gathered already.

A noise behind her made her turn and she was relieved to see that Tsu'Tey had arrived. He was keeping to himself for now but she knew sooner or later he'd approach the group.

Filibert moved a little closer to the strange shiny thing on the ground. Whatever it was it had clearly been ripped from its foundation judging by the way the material was torn and bent. He had no idea what it was supposed to look like but he was sure it wasn't supposed to look like that. He paused a few paces from the hunk of metal, sniffing the air delicately. It didn't smell like much but it did have a very strange vibe to it. It clearly was out of place.

Tsu'Tey's arrival was what finally got him to pause in his approach, to the relief of the raven on his back. Poe frowned slightly, observing for a moment as the King's guards edged closer to it, before deciding that until he was told otherwise, he was going to go as well.

Besides, scouting is what he did for a living. He couldn't be faulted for trying.

With a shake of his head, the cheetah continued his gait towards the object, throwing only a brief look back at the females to see if they were still watching.

The bird, meanwhile, groaned and sagged as Poe kept walking. Reaching forward, he began to n** at the cheetah's ear, "Poe, maybe we should let them investigate it first," he whispered.

When all he got in response was the flick of said ear, Eadgar scowled and sunk further into his fur, seriously considering retreating back. He didn't want to be involved if the Spotter got into trouble.
