He is fiercely loyal to his friends, especially his weapon. He is focused on helping his weapon by any means necessary and is determined to become a great gunslinger meister. Rogue cares about others and has a self-sacrificial mentality. He is somewhat chaotic and tends to get in over his head. Rogue can also be naive and idealistic. He does a poor job following instructions and can be overly sarcastic. Rogue has decided to dedicate himself to fighting tyranny wherever it springs up and he is staunchly invested in his individualist life philosophy. BIOGRAPHY: Rogue was born as Ronan Cormac to Roger and Irene Cormac in the slums of Death City. The Cormacs lived hand over fist in Death City and Rogue grew up witnessing his parents struggle with money. This stress permeated through their hovel of a house. His father turned to the bottle for comfort as both of his parents worked multiple jobs. Roger Cormac was primarily an underpaid factory lineworker and his mother took a variety of maid jobs. Roger Cormac died of an early stroke when Ronan was eight years old. His mother was unable to support herself financially so they were eventually evicted. He lived on the streets with his mother for several months before she too got extremely sick and passed away. Ronan became bitter at the cruelty of the poverty that put his family through so much. At the age of ten, he was taken into the DWMA by a professor that gave him money several times. He changed his name to Rogue in an effort to shed his tragic past. However, he would never forget his roots and became determined to free all working people from the bondage of the greedy.
Rogue had difficulties finding a partner for his early years in the DWMA. He had a few different weapon partners but he could never achieve soul resonance with them. Eventually, he would become frustrated by his partners and have falling outs with them. He had no interest in working with anyone who would not help him in his mission to free the world's workers. Deciding to focus on his own Meister skills, he went on a mission on his own. The mayor of a small town near the DWMA was at risk of becoming a Kishin. This corrupt mayor was trying to skip town after selling the land to Chauncey Bellamy. Bellamy was an oil baron who sought to bulldoze the town to create a massive oil reserve. Rogue uncovered the corruption in the town and went to confront the mayor. He met Chance Bellamy, the son of the oil baron, and assumed that he was as greedy as his father. However, when the mayor attempted to hurt Rogue, Chance transformed into a revolver and fell into Rogue's hand. They worked so well in tandem that they were able to achieve soul resonance and blast the mayor away before he could hurt anyone. This dissolved Chauncey Bellamy's deal but ultimately Chance enrolled in the DWMA as Rogue's weapon partner. Rogue is still suspicious of Chance's naivety and privileged background but was impressed by his initiative to save Rogue. He is also interested in growing further with Chance as this was the first partner that he had ever truly resonated with.

SOUL MIRAGE Tier One โฏ Echoed Illusions โฏ Mirages generated may optionally produce a secondary, less convincing copy within twenty feet of its creation. With False Soul, the secondary copy still trips up perception techniques if the perceiving Meister is a lower level than the Meister with this perk. โฉ โฏ Sustained โฏ The user's mirage techniques can last two posts longer than normal. This effect can apply to one technique every five posts. โฉ โฏ Morphology โฏ If desired, single mirages can morph into a second mirage following a new technique instead of being generated separately at will. This can be important for chain illusions. โฉ โฏ Indulging Madness โฏ The Meister, when stricken with tier three Madness, is still able to generate tier one mirages once every two posts. These mirages may be corrupted aesthetically with static or horrific motifs because of the Madness. Tier Two โฏ Soul Breaker โฏ This perk alters the technique "False Soul" exclusively. The technique can be instead be used to display information that the soul in question is damaged, consumed, or otherwise extinguished. Alternatively, the technique can be used to make it appear like someone is achieving or leaving Soul Resonance. It can also be used to make a soul appear like it's come under Madness to those that can sense it. โฉ โฏ Stacking โฏ The Meister is able to utilize Fabricated Prophecy for no action or cost in the same post they use another Meister Soul skill, once every five posts. Tier Three โฏ Believing is Being โฏ An illusion can be rendered real once per battle. This illusion cannot be interacting or appearing to interact with anyone at the moment it is rendered real. One could generate a giant bucket of water above someone's head and render it real, but they could not generate a knife piercing someone's body and then make it real. The real illusion will fade back to being a mirage after two posts. The Meister cannot sustain real people from making a clone technique real. Fake people rendered real temporarily by this technique can give fake soul information if the user takes "Soul Breaker".
MADNESS Tier One โฏ Unsettling โฏ Regardless of the Madness tier of any opponents (or lack thereof), the user can generate baseball-sized abstract, incomprehensible visual-only illusions that confuse the opponent. This generation isn't an ability and doesn't cost an action, nor does it induce Madness, but it can cause confusion and distract opponents. These can be things like the untrackable 'eye squiggle' that some people get in the corner of their vision, but can also be things like vague doodles that can't be looked at directly or even visual glitches in the environment that fix themselves once the opponent(s) look at it. โฉ โฏ Raging โฏ The user is able to shoot their wavelength out at a ten foot radius for no action or cost, inflicting no damage but inflicting one tier of Madness, once every five posts. โฉ โฏ Renaming โฏ Techniques of the user that take a form of some type, particularly magical summons but also including any visual alteration of themselves, can always aesthetically change to some horrifying visage or fear. It also grants a resource discount of one level to techniques altered by this perk once every five posts, not stacking with any other discount. โฉ โฏ Disordering โฏ The user emits a screech which disturbs the souls in the area prevents opponents from entering soul resonance for one post. This does not effect opponents already in soul resonance. This can be used once every five posts. Tier Two โฏ Hallucinogenic โฏ Regardless of the Madness tier of any opponents (or lack thereof), the user can generate horrifyingly violent illusions that harass the opponent. These are able to be the size of a one-story building but can't completely obscure the opponents' vision for combat purposes. These illusions tend to be especially traumatic. These are exclusively visual in nature and do not generate sound. This generation isn't an ability and doesn't cost an action, nor does it induce increased Madness, but it can cause great distress. Requires "Unsettling" โฉ โฏ Tantrum โฏ The user emits their soul wavelength across the battlefield and prevents all techniques that heal Madness from functioning for one post. This ability has a three post cooldown.
STREET FIGHTING Tier One โฏ Gonna Get Rowdy โฏ Pocket Sand's debuff lasts an additional 1 post once every 5 posts. โฉ โฏ Shove'em in the Locker โฏ The user's Cheap Shot technique may be used at 1 level higher without costing additional resources once per 5 posts. โฉ โฏ Did You Look at Me? โฏ Street Fighters do well at predicting attacks, even the unpredictable. Once every 5 posts the it's easier to dodge a technique by 1 level. โฉ โฏ Feint Attack โฏ Once every 5 posts, when the user uses Cheap Shot, they may immediately follow it up with a second Cheap Shot at 1 level lower than the original use to a minimum of level one for no additional action or resource cost. Tier Two โฏ Gonna Get a Little Unruly โฏ Pocket Sand's debuff lasts an additional 2 posts once every 5 posts. Requires Gonna Get Rowdy. โฉ โฏ Sucker Punch โฏ Once every 5 posts, when the user uses Cheap Shot, they may immediately follow it up with a second Cheap Shot at the same level as the original use for no additional action or resource cost. Requires Feint Attack Tier Three โฏ Through the Table! โฏ Once every 5 posts Improvised Attack may cause the enemy to lose one action for 2 posts instead of just in their next post.
SOUL WAVELENGTH Tier One โฏ Of the Tide โฏ A repeated cast of a wavelength technique shoots out for no cost or action once every four posts, at one level lower than the base technique. โฉ โฏ Wavelength Waves โฏ The Meister is able to inflict their wavelength ten feet outward from their palms in a half-circle shape five feet wide.
SOUL RESONANCE Tier One โฏ We're not Lovers, We're Soulmates โฏ Members of a Soul Resonance team with this perk are able to lend resource to another member of the Soul Resonance team. The limit is 50 resource per post. This does not cost an action. โฉ โฏ Determined โฏ The user is able to split a single attack against two targets without reducing the strength of the technique once every five posts. โฉ โฏ Overreaction โฏ The user is able to use one technique twice in a post for the same action. Both costs are paid. This perk is usable once per Soul Resonance partner in the Soul Resonance team. โฉ โฏ Ghostbusters โฏ The user is able to pay an additional level in resource during any kind of attack to stun the opposing Meister from using any soul abilities; the opponent is unable to use any soul abilities for two posts. This is usable once per opponent with an overall four post cooldown.

SOUL MIRAGE โจ Dummy | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Spirit The user generates a copy of themselves. It doesn't move or react, but serves well as bait for different traps. โจ Clone | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit The user generates a copy of themselves or another person (in demon weapon form, animal transformation, etc. if desired). This copied entity can move but cannot make any noise. It can act like it's going to interact with someone but obviously won't touch them because it's all an illusion. โจ False Soul | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit The user can generate the information of a false soul of any type. The user can feed other fake news like archetype, blood type, and false skill tree information. Anything that can be detected, the user can provide this information upon generation of this false soul. The false soul lasts for two posts and is visibly just an unattended soul wherever its generated. โจ Fabricated Prophecy | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit The user is able to generate multiple mirages, creating a scene in the topic that doesn't exceed fifty feet in width or fifty feet in height. The mirages can produce noise and one other sense other than the visuals they provide. This technique has a lot of versatility as it builds off of the previous techniques, enabling the Meister to make opponents believe their allies are fighting or in trouble or anything else the Meister can think of. โจ Fake Wound | Level 4 | Tier 2 | Spirit The Meister is able to generate a fake wound on an opponent - this can be after an attack or just randomly, or as another part of playacting from the Meister. Whatever the set-up is, if any, a wound of the Meister's choosing will form on the opponent. At this level, the illusion is so persuasive that the opponent is debilitated. This takes an action from one opponent and doesn't stack with anything else that takes an action. If used more than twice in battle on the same opponent, it loses its efficacy. โจ Beautiful Lie | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit The cornerstone of a mirage-wielding Meister's ability is to convince someone so deeply of something unreal. This technique allows the Meister to plant a lie or a vision of an event (which plays out like a memory in the opponent's mind) that the opponent believes for at least one full post. This technique is usable on each opponent only once per battle. It takes the opponent of an action and doesn't stack with anything else that takes an action.
MADNESS โจ Distortion | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Stamina, Mana, or Spirit This ability allows the user to change their physical size. Techniques used scale to the user. This ability allows the user to make themselves the size of 3 feet tall to the size of a two story building. Efficacy of techniques are unaffected. This ability lasts for three posts. โจ Madness Sting | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Stamina, Mana, or Spirit The user holds a hand out and shoots a condense beam of Madness out. The aesthetic appearance of the attack can change into anything the user desires. The sting inflicts a raised tier of Madness on the opponent. โจ Madness Construction | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Stamina, Mana, or Spirit The user creates a construction out of pure Madness energy. This can be any form the user desires, but requires both hands for them to direct it. The construction can be anywhere from three feet to three stories tall and inflicts Madness with all of its strikes. This could be a large dragon or an army of feral dogs. The constructions must stay in the topic of the user. If a Meister of the Soul Construction skill tree, those perks may influence this technique if the Meister so chooses. โจ Phantom Play | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Stamina, Mana, or Spirit The user's illusions are so powerful that the opponents' senses, mind, body, and soul will treat them as real. This allows the user to generate tornados that don't physically suck the air out of the opponent yet stills their lungs anyways, or monsters that can't quite shred a Meister to pieces but can force their body into shock as if their guts are falling out. These illusions are up to the user's imagination, and get worse if the user is familiar with the Unreality perk line. If the user is a Meister of the Soul Mirage skill tree, those perks may influence this technique if the Meister so chooses. โจ Soul Barrier | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Stamina, Mana, or Spirit One of the user's more powerful techniques, this is a shield generated from a mix of soul energy and magic regardless of the user's type. Instilled with Madness, too, it is able to visually display grotesque or horrifying images in its form while also protecting the user from same level techniques. The images are transparent enough that the user is never obscured within their bubble. The barrier treats magic-based attacks one level lower in strength.
STREET FIGHTING โจ Pocket Sand | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Spirit The user will throw sand, dust, or some kind of similar substance in the eyes of their opponent. If successful it becomes 1 level easier for anyone to block or dodge the affected individual's attacks for 2 posts. Substance may be thrown up to 10 feet away. โจ Cheap Shot | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit The user will target a particularly vulnerable part of their opponent's body, and kick, punch, or do just about anything to it within melee distance. This can vary from person to person of course. Due to the sneaky nature of this attack, it can not be blocked however it can be dodged. To properly dodge this the person in question must leave melee range during their dodge. โจ Improvised Attack | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit The user of this technique will use an unconventional weapon that could be just about anything laying around. This includes but it not limited to chairs, tables, umbrellas, rocks, cans, and computers. They will then strike their opponent with it as hard as they can. The opponent is caught off guard if they are hit by it, losing one action in their next post. โจ Street Stance | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Spirit The user of this technique will take an unorthodox fighting stance. Some would say that the stance is filled with openings. However such a stance leaves much room for personal movement and style as well. While in this stance basic combat executed by the user is 1 level harder to dodge. โจ Get Jumped | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit The user of this technique employs the best possible tactic in a street fighter's arsenal...having other people jump their target(s). The user of this technique will whistle, and seemingly out of nowhere a horde of thugs, gangsters, general criminals, or just about whatever groups of people one might find out on the street appear. This attack is effectively an AOE Attack, in which the thugs that seem to come from nowhere batter any enemies within the topic, and even vandalize the topic itself within reasonable capabilities of mostly normal people. After the attack, the horde of people once more disappear into the shadows. Usable once per battle. Can not be affected by perks or other effects unless the perk specifically mentions this technique.
SOUL WAVELENGTH โจ Aggressive Shock | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit This shock is designed to hurt. On top of doing damage appropriate to its level, this kind of shock tends to disorient the opponent and frequently leaves them seeing double. The opponent's next attack misses if they've gathered less souls than their opponent.
SOUL RESONANCE โจ Resonance Barrier | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit The Meister channels the Soul Resonance energy outward, producing a visible barrier around their person and that of each other team member. The tier of this technique determines its strength, although the barrier will act one level higher in strength if the Soul Resonance includes three or more people. โจ Resonance Wavelength | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Spirit Even if the Meister is uninitiated in the art of fighting with a wavelength directly, experienced Soul Resonance Meisters are capable of channeling their wavelength and their partners' wavelength easily, producing a radial blast from their person that is twenty feet wide. โจ Soul Piercer | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit The Meister weaponizes their resonating soul wavelength in a spear-like shape ahead of them. The spear of wavelength shoots out from their person up to fifty feet ahead. โจ Witch Hunter | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit Named after the famed scythe Meister technique, this skill uses the same concept of sharply channeling resonating soul wavelength energy through the weapon to grow it in size and strength. The Meister is able to produce a basic attack or swing with this technique active, which will treat magic-based defenses and techniques one level lower in strength. Lasts for two posts.
CUSTOMS โจ Smoke and Mirrors | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit Rogue releases ten feet of thick red smoke made from his spirit energy per level applied to this technique. The smoke is able to carry the properties of Soul Mirage techniques and perks that Rogue performs. The smoke has illusory properties and can change the appearance of the extended area based on the range of the technique. This smoke lasts for one post in duration per level applied to this technique up to three posts. The smoke can prolong the Soul Mirage techniques and perks equal to the duration of the Smoke and Mirrors technique. Smoke and Mirrors can effect up to two Soul Mirage techniques or perks at once and Smoke and Mirrors cannot be stacked with multiple uses. This technique cannot augment the duration of level five techniques. This technique itself cannot be augmented by perks. โจ Shattered Image | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Spirit Rogue performs this technique before colliding with an enemy spell or technique. Rogue's body as well as the weapon he is holding seemingly die and explode into a cloud of crimson smoke. The smoke then flies away and rematerializes into Rogue and his weapon up to ten feet away. This technique can only be performed twice per battle. โจ The Looking Glass | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit Rogue extends one index finger to "draw" a circle in front of him. This forms a mirror of spirit energy that is highly reflective of what is in front of it. An enemy technique or spell that is incoming will be blocked by the mirror as an energy shield. However, the mirror creates a mirage of the enemy technique being reflected back at them. In reality, the technique or spell is simply blocked if this technique is as strong as the enemy technique. This illusion will even reflect an image of the enemy using a weapon. โจ Refracted Light | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit Rogue extends one index finger to "draw" a circle in front of him. This forms a mirror of spirit energy that is highly reflective of what is in front of it. Rogue channels more spirit energy into the mirror that shoots a beam of light from the mirror to attack the target directly. The light beam travels twenty feet per level applied to this technique. This spirit energy mirror can create the illusion of refracting light in the area by tilting the mirror but in actuality, it is Rogue creating the light beam with spirit resource.
