I have to meet with the chief for a moment & I will meet you in the alley in a little while. Nate goes into the Chief's Office.

We see Nate enter the Chief's office to talk with Emma.
Nate Shapiro: What's up?
We see Emma looking a Gerbil.
Look, after a month of raising this hamster gerbil. This would be fun for the Rat Race in Louisiana. Let's hope that he doesn't flood my office last time when I had two Tanks of Mountain Dew in here.
Nate Shapiro: Didn't that happen in a show once?
Perhaps. But sometimes, you have to feed the thing. In the meantime, maybe you can talk about the Contest that was from 1991 to 1995.
Nate Shapiro: Sure. During 1991 to 1995, anyone who watched where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, the viewers would write down what got stolen and from where. After collecting 4 correct lists, 5 Lucky people get a Carmen Sandiego T-Shirt.
Anyway, I'll get the Sunflower Seeds and... Emma steps in the Mountain Dew Puddle Not again! That Gerbil got out of its cage! I knew I should haven't got that Mountain Dew Beverage Machine!
Nate Shapiro: Well, Twice the Gerbils, Double the Mountain Dew... Nate exits the Chief's office and heads for the alley.
(Audience Laughs)
*Intermission 2-2: Training Back Alley*
Nate meets up with the 3 players in the alley.
Nate Shapiro: I tried to tell her. Anyway, it's Training Time, guys. Come this way to the Trash Cans. Pick out one of these Trash Cans. What is going to happen is this and that is to find a clue that will help us find our crook and what better way to do so is in our trash cans. All you need to do is take the lid off the Trash Can like so... Nate lifts up the Trash can lid and Mountain Dew gushes out like a Geyser.
Nate Shapiro: You'll reach in here and find an Index Card with a flag on one side and a clue on the other that we're looking for...
Nate Shapiro: Then to finish up, you put the lid back on the Trash Can. So let's get to it. On your mark... get set... go!
Marche takes the lid off and starts looking in the trash can for the index card.
Nate Shapiro: Start looking for that clue, everyone and when you found it, put the lid back on the trash can!
