Sadly the "extra" measures Shikarie had taken weren;t enough to hold Mina for long. Mina had activated her own curse mark giving her the strength needed to break through Shikarie's techniques. If it had been anyone else that was in Mina's shoes they would have stood no chance. The red-haired nuisance had leaped down from the spike and landed down on her feet much as a cat would. The two shikarie's would remain on their respective spears looking down at the jounin. She wasn't surprised, if Mina had no tricks of her sleeve Shikarie would have to seriously question the quality of the upper-ranked shinobi. Plus it wasn't like Mina having a curse mark was even unknown to Shikarie in the first place. While the origional Shikarie stood there emotionlessly looking down at Mina the clone was getting a taste of a unique Mina technique. Her own personal genjutsu. The clone would see the cat eye mirage and fell into Mina's genjutsu. The clone would reach up for her head and in distress, at the imagery she was seeing. Playing like a record she continuously witnesses the devastation and the hatred by the victims. The clone would feel like she was being burnt alive. It truly felt like she was in hell. The clone would then go from a standing position to a squanted one as the illusion continued to loop. Coming to the realization that she was under a genjutsu the clone would attempt to perform Kai. Unfortunately, the clone would consume all of it's chakra reserves and poof away in a cloud of smoke. Being that it was a shadow clone the idea the clone had was now clear in the original mind. A waiting time bomb
The movement from the clone taking a squat caught the color of Shikarie's eye causing her to slowly turn her head to see the mental state her clone was in. She only took a single glance at the clone before taking her attention back to Mina."Clever." She said almost implying that she did actually believe Mina was capable of performing genjutsu until now. It was what mina would say next that was pull bit more of a reaction from Shikarie. Her eyes would squint in distaste and a single finger would twitch as if her first instinct was to physically react."I don't do well with ultimatums" Which was well within her realm of typical behavior. She normally hated to put into a position where she was to feel conflicted so she naturally always just took the path of least resistance or tried to avoid a situation altogether. This time, that was not the case. Choosing to activate the technique the clone had left behind as a gift to Shikarie she would raise a single hand a perform the triggering hand sign, start to record Mina's actions within her shadow.
In order to manipulate the outcome of the recording Shikarie had taken action. Flickering away from her spike pedestal she would suddenly appear before mina in a crouched position with her right hand extended across her body to the left side as if she was holding a sword that wasn't there. Then, puff of smoke would erupt from her right hand and an unseathed Katana would be seen. With no heisitation Shikarie would strike horizontally across Mina's torso. All while doing this, Shikarie had embrued the blade with her earth style chakra. By doing this, when Shikarie swung her sword earthen debris would float into the air and be sent flying in the direction of her slash up to 25 feet from where she stood. If the debris were to get into Mina's eyes she would surely be blinded. Any action Mina would take would also be recorded within her shadow, this attack was not only meant to surprise Mina but to also limit her reaction. Shikarie wasn't really known for working with weapons but if this battle would teach anyone, it's that she is more versatile than people would think.

This includes those from other jutsu, but not those under the opponent's control. Transportation is considered instant but the user the act of entering the portals is not. Secondly, all Nara Clan jutsu affected become more physical and harder to dispel, granting them a two rank increase when attempting to break free of other Nara possession jutsu. If stacking bonuses would bring this to over S+ rank (such as a Ino-shika-cho formation) then it grants overwhelming instead of being lost. Lasts for [ 12 ] posts.
________Rank A_│_Darkness Miming [ Yami no Mimingu ] - ACTIVATED After applying a successful imitation technique, this jutsu may be used to apply a portion of the user's chakra into the target's shadow. Doing so requires no activation on part of the user but should clearly be stated in their post when it has been placed and when it has been activated. After activation, every action ( jutsu cast, exact steps taken, etc ) and the manner that they used it in ( such instances with korabo, or aiming at specific targets if possible ) will be "saved" until such a time when the user decides to end this "saving snapshot" portion of the jutsu. Then spending an activation to end this portion of the jutsu, the target is forced to repeat every technique that was used during the "saving snapshot" began. While not powerful in its own right, the strength of this jutsu lies within the Nara member's ability to plan out their opponent's moves perfectly in order to both counter them, as well as place them in the perfect situation for defeat.
The user prepares to attack with an unsheathing attack. The user vanishes from sight, using a shushin movement and appears directly before the target, slashing horizontally at the target, releasing a wave of their element twenty five feet in the direction of their blade's path before returning to it's sheath. This consumes a body flicker use during combat.
Earth: Debris floats in the air, getting in the eyes of opponents within it, making sight painful, even for dojutsu users, causing tier 2 blindness.

Also known as, 'Lightning Blade Creation' this technique creates a seal on the user's clothing. This effectively turns the clothing of their choice into a B-ranked scroll, which may be used for sealing and scroll related techniques. Mina stared Shikarie down for just a second, her green eyes hard like emeralds. But then, in a matter of seconds, the redhead… smiled. It wasn’t malicious or anything like that. It was a genuine Mina smile, pushing her eyes closed as she smiled with her whole face. It was almost the same kind of smile a teacher would give to a smaller student who was so close to getting the material. As Mina spoke, the flames cloaking her body shifted enough for cat-like ears to form on the top of her head. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Mina’s feet slid into place as she returned to her fighting stance, her feline eyes tracking Shikarie’s movements as the Nara rushed her down. Her demeanor was the result of an immense amount of training with her own Curse Mark. The sudden spike in power would give Mina an almost insatiable thirst for destruction that she had to actively try and suppress while it was active. It was hard not meet Shikarie’s cruel intentions with an overwhelming explosion of raw power. Mina took a breath, remembering to relax her form before going on the move. [Curse of Retribution D>>B Rank] Mina would run forward to meet Shikarie, only to flip over her at the last second by using a sudden explosion from her palm. [Whorl D>>S+ Simple Korabo Majestic Spark A>>S Overwhelming] It was a sudden movement, and one Mina hoped to take the Chunin off guard. The explosion, while sudden, would produce a blast of force and fire that would be strong enough to push Shikarie back, even with her powered up state.
The somersault that Mina would be in would position her above Shikarie. So as the redheaded Jonin came down, she reached out to grab the Nara’s scruff of her hoodie, with her palms igniting in crimson red, sparkling flames. Mina was strong, physically, and it was no secret. But to top off her own strength, as she lifted Shikarie up on the updraft of a swing, Mina would use the spin to slam the young woman into one of the few remaining earthen spikes. The embers in Mina’s palm would ignite to the point that it almost engulfed the Jonin’s arm. When Mina thrust Shikarie into the rock spike, at the moment of contact with the stone, the immense build up of pressure and flame would explode outwards, washing away the sea of flames from earlier. The impact would create a deafening boom, shaking the very ground around the two shinobi for roughly ten seconds before finally subsiding, like a roll of thunder. [Seinaru Blastwave S+ Complex Overwhelming, Explosion S+ Overwhelming] All if the combo landed without a hitch. Mina held the woman’s face to the stone, her smile gone and her glare back, before she could eventually reel in the innate desires of a Curse Mark. Then she sighed, exhaling her breath as her own Curse Mark faded, and she took a step back from Shikarie. “I warned you, didn’t I?” Mina scolded as she placed her hands on her hips. She knew her friend would be okay… mostly. The tone in Mina’s voice was a farcry from her earlier menace, Once again, it was like she was scolding a child.

This can be used defensively to evade an attack or directly after a kicking technique. If used after a kicking technique, the user gains a [1] point speed increase to their next kicking attack if used directly after this technique. Alternatively, this technique can be used to relive damage from techniques that cause knock back or send the user flying to the ground by using the technique at the rank of the technique it is defending against.
▰ Acrobatic Mastery | Rank D | Training Having practiced their art with great concentration, the user has learned to change direction of their whorl technique.After this training is complete, the user may use up to one technique per post that would lower the stats affecting their speed without suffering that reduction. The user gains the ability to use Somersault to evade once every three post without it consuming an activation, but only against opponents whose body rank is at or lower than the user’s.
▰ Majestic Spark | Rank S Overwhelming Much like the Cinder Technique available to all using ninjutsu, this technique is activated with the simple snapping of the fingers. Instead of a small spark, this technique creates a fireball measuring ten feet in width within ten feet of the user per rank of the technique. This fireball travels ten feet before dissipating unless it strikes a target, exploding on impact and coating a ten foot radius in flames per rank of the technique, causing tiered burning. • Flames of Strength: The user's flame that coats the ground after making impact creates concussive flaming explosion two ranks below the rank of this technique. These explosions are triggered by contact with the flaming area.

▰ Curse of Retribution [ Hōfuku no noroi ] | Rank D>>B | Taijutsu Keystone| [ Complex ] A stance developed by Mina to exemplify her Genjutsu and Fire Abilities. Curse of Retribution creates a cloak of fire around herself, complete with cat ears made of flame. This stance boosts Mina’s Speed and Strength by [+1] at E-C Rank, and by [+2] when at B-S+. When this stance is active, Mina is able to Korabo Fire Based techniques (Katon, Seinaru Enjo/, and Ignition Release) for one activation. Additionally, any Taijutsu or Fire Based technique used while this stance is active applies Tiered Insanity. While this stance is active, any status affect applied to an opponent(s) is one rank/tier harder to remove. Stance lasts for [5] posts, and reduces Minas stats by [-2] for [3] posts once it’s over.
Second Action:
▰ Seinaru Blastwave [ Seinaru Eikyō ] | Rank S+ Overwhelming | Taijutsu [ Katon ]| Cost [ Complex ] A technique modeled after the Ignition Release Howitzer Impact. This allows Mina to coat any part of her body with Seinaru Enjo fire before she strikes at a target. While condensed, upon contact the flame immediately explodes outward by 100 feet from impact. By using the flames to propel herself, Mina is able to increase to power of her impact. When contact is made and the flames explode out, anyone within the radius is afflicted with Tier 3 Burns/Burning and Tier 3 Trauma.
Flames of Strength: The explosive power of this technique is doubled to 200 feet. It additionally increases the tiers of Trauma and Burning by [1] and also inflicts Tier 2 Blindness.
▰ Explosion [ Bakuha ] | Rank S+ Overwhelming | Spiritual | Supplementary The user channels their chakra to the surface of their hands, feet, elbows or knees. This chakra becomes super heated and explosive, staying dormant in the desired body part until physical contact is made. This explosion expands 10 feet outward per rank of the technique, throwing those in it's range to it's furthest limits with concussive force, causing tiered burns and trauma. This is often used to augment the user's taijutsu or basic combat attacks to grant them additional force.
After her last attack Shikarie was shocked to see how effortlessly Mina was able to evade it. Shikarie was more known for her use of clansmen techniques and ninjutsu that she never really told anyone that she had been training with a sword at all. She she thought she would at least have the element of surprise on her side. Sadly, that was more on Mina's side. The explosion from the blast she produce would push Shikarie backward. Pushing her feet into the ground she would leave drag marks on the gravel beneath her as she came to a sliding stop. Once stopped, she looked up to where Mina once was and notice she wasn't there.'Left....right....abo-' She would quickly check her surroundings in search of where Mina could be. But before she could even get the chance to look upwards, she would feel a tug on the hood of her jacket, which was still rested upon her head. Her feet lifted from the ground and all Shikarie could do is prepare herself for what was to come next. Shikarie would be trown into a few of the rock spears. By the time Mina was done with her combo a loud boom filled the air, causing Shikarie's ears to start ringing. The boom felt like it was shaking her to her soul. As her head was pushed up against a rock spear that some how survived the large amount of pressure, Shikarie's curse mark started to recede back to it's the dormant state. The tentacles started to slither their way back and sealed within the mark itself once more. When Mina had let go of her head Shikarie would pull the hood of her jacket back down, and grabbing at the side of her head."Jesus christ Mina. Did you have to slam he so ******** style="color: dimgrey"> She complained. While most people wouldn't like complaining from others, this was normal for her. Which was a good sign that she was not back to her usual self. Well, aside from the splitting headache she now had.
