[TD: 2/18/22] Bobby Roode VS. Samoa Joe [Non-Title Match]

Samoa Joe would grab Roode by the arm and Irish whip him to a far corner!

Roode was sent running into a corner and he stays there with his back to it.

Joe runs at Roode in the corner going for a hip splash!

Roode would move out of the way, and when Samoa Joe turned in the corner, he goes for repeated knife Edge chops to burn his chest!

Joe was chopped repeatedly but grabs Roode with both hands, walking out of the corner with him and then attempting to throw him back into the same corner and start hitting some right hand jabs until he was in a seated position!

Roode was overpowered and before he knew it was struck with repeated jabs and he falls to a seated position in the corner.

Joe picks Roode up, pulling him out of the corner and goes for a high collar T bone suplex!

Roode was taken down with the T Bone suplex and he rolls out of the ring, to the floor as Joe was totally taking it to him here in the early going.

Joe was fired up, throwing his arm up, looking good so far.

Roode was on all fours on the outside of the ring, trying to catch his breath after the offense onslaught from Joe.

Samoa Joe gets out of the ring, near where Roode was, and picks him up to his feet, attempting to deliver a forearm to his head.

Roode was struck with the forearm, as he stumbles towards the steel steps..

Samoa Joe quickly follows Roode to the steps and attempts to slam his head on the top of them!

Roode, with eyes in the back of his head, drops down with a drop toe hold like move to trip Samoa Joe head first into the top of the steps when he followed him at a quick pace.

Joe was tripped into the steel steps, with it happening so quickly he didn't have time to shield his head so he hits them directly head first and collapses to the floor.
