The night passed quickly as the fire had burned low. The winds outside had calmed to a cold breeze and snow fell like fluff instead of daggers. It seemed that the most of the storm had passed through and left behind an even more white landscape. With a wing moving, Inferno huffed releasing small sparks from his nostrils as he did. Shoving back what snow had blown in and created a blanket over his one side. With one last huff, small flames licked around his muzzle as he rose to his hooves.

"Seems the worst of the storm is past." Inferno said as he began to build up the wood stack again. "Perhaps, one of the best chances you have to find your family before the next storm comes around."

Inferno glanced at Kes, not sure if she had heard him as he once more build his fire. His inner fire burning brightly as he did. The dried wood caught quickly and heat rose through the small shelter. Turning away from the new fire, he stepped towards the back to find himself something to eat, hunger clawed at him like a beast and needed quelling... Before other things happened..

Kes rose as the sun danced off the slow, the world bright and clean under the soft white blanket' and the dark marre rose, stretching a moment before listening as she looked outside. The storm had passed, by and large, and while clouds in the sky still produced delicate flakes of ice, the snow falling now was familiar and afforded time for the day to search and find a space for the night. It would be remiss of her to not look into the direction of Inferno's family territory, mentally marking it out as space not to enter more than she had accidentally stepped the night before, and after making note she nodded to Inferno.

"It seems so. Thank you." Kes said kindly, before with a flourish she bowed her head and trot out, a bouncing gait of someone in pleasant spirits with pleasdant personality. The mare smiles, stepping out into the snow and ice before her wings snapped out, and with a motion she was airborn, brginning to climb yo soar for her journey' and to maybe find an area she might shelter in should a storm rise again.

Kes learned from her experiences... Usually.
