Lullaby listened and nodded, smiling as the big... still alarming... but nice wolf accepted the flowers, albeit confused as to what to do with them. "Sometimes its best not to judge someone by their looks." she said as she leaned forward to help the wolf by tucking the flowers into his fur behind his ears.

Wolfwood managed a smile, it was sloppy, but a smile none the less. He let out a happy huff, his tail wagging. Bits of not quite yet dried mud flew off, the rest caked on his soggy paws.

Lullaby turned to Lynx and laughed. "A misunderstanding indeed. Let's get him cleaned up." she said to Ro. "And after, we can have some tea. I know the native wont mind, by then Grandpa should be home too." she smiled, gesturing for Wolfwood to follow. She then peered back at Lynx. "If you'd like, you are also welcome to join. Whether or not there is a true threat out there... we'd be honored to have your protection and company for the time being." she smiled, then glanced down at the basket her 'grandson' had left. "Oh my, and we have some lovely fresh baked goodies to go with our afternoon tea!" she said, picking the basket up by the handle with her mouth and carrying it inside.
