Apex vs [Cartwright Strong Style] (War Games)

Omen would be standing tall inside the cage. Despite his mask hiding expressions and his actions hiding his demeanor, Omen was excited to get in this match. This was his chance to finally get back at the man inside the other cage after being the first person to have put proper damage on him. All of Apex would fall, but Avari is a special case altogether.  

[Salem Croft]

Salem had started trying to get back up, noticing Tiger's egotistical egrandizing and wanting to take advantage, but a sudden entrance from family would cut off his attempt- Rex Kobra entering the fray to stomp the fan-friendly snake down! As the crowd booed, Salem coughed and curled defensively, trying to shield himself from the blows!

Rex stopped the assault and looked to the crowd with a sadistic smile. He looked toward Kyra and pointed at her. The lights in the arena flickered for a moment before going out for a moment. When they came back on, there were three cultists surrounding Kyra. With his men in place, Rex would attempt to grab Salem and bring him up to his knees and force him to look out.

"Stand down, boy. You Stand your little pissant group down or my family will take her far, far away," Rex would say if he managed it. "I will take her and you will never see her again, boy, if you don't just lay down and take your beatin'"  

[Salem Croft]

Salem knew he was at a disadvantage as Rex entered the fray, but as Kobra lifted him up to his knees and held him still, he realized just what was happening in the crowd! His daughter, Kyra, was being threatened by Rex's cultists! Thrashing angrily, Salem cursed at Rex, unable to do much more than protest verbally in his current condition!

"Aww, now this is just SICK! How can grown men threaten a child this way?! Salem came out here for a match and he can't do a damn thing to stop this!"

"That's what he gets, J.R.! Mess with the boss, prepare for a loss!"  

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger took a moment, leaning against the ropes in a relaxed posture as he watched what was happening. He hated Salem for putting his young family in danger - in the ring - and now Rex was attacking Kyra in the audience. There was no smile on his face; he didn't like what was happening, but he wasn't about to throw a victory to APEX. He would deal with his conflicting thoughts later.

Rex held Salem and listened with glee to his curses. But his smile faded when something unexpected happened. The lights flickered again but this time to herald the appearance of Ramona Tyler. Ramona stood in front of the cultists and silently ordered them back. There was a state among them... then the lights dimmed and returned. The Cultists were gone and Ramona was standing near Kyra in a protective stance.

Rex let go of Salem and moved closer to the cage. "What the ******** are you doing? I am in charge here. Fall in line"  

[Salem Croft]

Salem was frustrated at the situation, cursing Rex for threatening his own granddaughter, until the situation suddenly changed - Ramona, Rex's sister and Kyra's great-aunt, appeared between the cultists and the child, protecting her blood from them! The distraction caused Rex to release his grip and step away, giving Salem an opportunity to jump Kobra from behind and club him down with a double axe-handle, intending to savagely stomp the man out in a father's rage!

3...2....1....

The cage door opened again and this time, the big angry German stepped through dressed in his hooded Apex gear and a new demonic mask. Reaching under his hood, he removed his mask to reveal his war painted face. He spared a glance at Ramona, before he turned his attention back to the action in the ring.

He stopped and went under the ring apron. The crowd roared as he emerged with a bevy of steel chairs that he tossed in the ring. He also produced a few tables, each bearing a name of Cartwright Strong Style that he slid into the ring. One of the tables, he set up at ringside and draped long ways against the barricade.

He stomped up the stairs and entered the ring and he joined his partner in the assault on the cult leader with a flurry of body shots.

Trent would go to the side of the cage so the big man could get out and make an impact in the ring. Now that Ramona seemed to have stepped in to protect Kyra, the two men could fight freely. Until the next member of Cartwright Strong Style would make their way out.

While Rex was delivering orders to his sister that were seeming to go unanswered, he was clubbed in the back by Salem. He proceeded to get attacked by Salem and shortly after an angry German. Despite the pain as he tried to protect himself, he couldn't help but smile again and laugh as he was prone to do in the presence of pain.

As Eryn joined the fray, aiding his tag partner in putting boots and knuckles to Kobra, the crowd lit up - eager to see the heels get some comeuppance! Glancing over at Tiger Hat, who'd watched from a nearby distance, Salem gestured to his German ally to go after him while Salem settled family business!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger had no plan to wait for the fight to come to him - while he hadn't stepped in to help his teammate, as soon as he saw Salem motion at the German Giant, he charged forward, aiming a forearm strike at his face!

Salem was momentarily startled by Tiger's sudden rush to clobber Erynys, but the "Copperhead Cowboy" couldn't afford to back off the attack - continuing to throw fists and kicks at Rex while hoping his partner could fend for himself!

In the moment that Salem stopped, Rex started to push his way back up. He was stopped part of the way up as the assault continued, bringing louder laughter from his lips.  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright was enjoying watching Salem's kid being tormented, that's what you get for bringing children in to the adult world of professional wrestling!

Ramona must have a screw loose to get in the way of such a brilliant tactic for his team!
