Today, BakaTulip brought it to my attention that there was another GGSA besides us. After a bit of talking, we've decided to become affiliates and work together, since we have common goals. I encourage anyone who's interested to join the other GGSA as well as this one.
BakaTulip and I are working together on the Website, so that will be a shared effort.

There is now a use for guild donations! Aren't you happy?
Now we can purchase subforums, which subtract 2500 directly from our guild funds. Please, donate, and we can begin to organize our guild, which will hopefully make it more of a success!

I just wanted to remind people that I am observing for possible new crew members. People who have been members for a long time and have been active, I do recognize you, and you are the most likely to get the crew membership. I will try to make my decision soon. And there will probably be more than one crew member, so don't think you have to compete.

A bit of a personal thing, but I don't think I'll be able to get online for a while due to personal issues. Kalorn is in charge while I'm away.

Several things to say today.
First: I've demoted Kaldorei to normal member status due to inactivity. I checked his profile, and he hasn't been on since december 2005. I probably should've done this a long time ago, but I was hoping he'd come back, since he was such a big help in our opening stages.
Second: I checked the guild transaction log, since our guild funds have suddenly gone way up. I found that we'd recieved several very generous donations from Child of the Forsaken, whose donations totalled 15,000 gold! I felt he deserved to have his name up here. heart Thanks so much!
Also, I'm proud to say that I'm fairly sure that we are growing purely by word of mouth. I don't think there are any publicity threads or recruiting threads, unless they were posted without my knowledge. So, we gain at least 5, sometimes as much as ten to twenty members a day based on signatures, links in banners, and other forms of advertisements. You guys are doing great! With everyone's help, our guild can keep on growing. We are currently the fourth-largest guild related to homosexuality in gaia (beaten by the gay bi curious guild, the Gay Guy Guild, and Gaian Gay Boy Guild), and the largest that I know of related to LGBT equality. You know what this means? We went from two members (Kaldorei and Me) to one of the largest equality-related guilds on gaia in under a year.
By the way, our one-year aniversary is on April 26. How fitting, since it's the National Day of Silence.
