xp Anyway, Gai does use chakra on occasion, just not often (i.e. v.s. Itachi and Kisame). Also, the gates unlock different parts of the body's power, and have been opened in REAL LIFE
eek . On opening ALL the gates, a person will acheive power greater than a Hokage, but will subsequently die from the sheer stress placed on their body. The gates are Initial, Heal, Life, Harm, Limit, View, Wonder, Death. The result of using the Death gate is that all of the body's energy is used up simultaneously, giving the user an entire lifetime of power to work with. The effect of this is the destruction of the body's organs and tissue, killing the person and completely destroying their body.
