Has anyone read volume 7 yet? Holy freaking crap!!! Now THAT'S a turning point! I won't ruin it in case there are people here who haven't gotten that far, but MY GAWD! I never would have predicted that! The writer of this series is absolutely brilliant, and better yet, fearless! I can't wait to see the anime, and the movie! I can't wait for the movie!

xXmike_owns_youXx It's so awesome! The storyline is so complex, and it really delves deep into the nature of the human mind! I haven't read the whole series yet though. . . sweatdrop But I plan to! I've read 1-5. so where do you get it? Online or is it published already in the US?

I LOVE Death Note SO much. It's actually like...intelligent. L's the best in my opinion, and -please don't get mad- I REALLY dislike Raito... Mello and Near aren't bad either. Although Mello's rather creepy. Choco-holic... Misa sort of bugs me, but I do respect how passionate she is. And her perseverence. xd
Anyway, my teachers all forsake comic/manga/anything visually astounding that is in the form of a book stupid and completely not thought provoking. Sure, the story is dark, and um, if a teacher saw me watching the anime (especially the theme song) they'd probably call a psychiatrist, but it's really good. I really want to force them to read it someday - y'know, when I'm older (I'm currently 12) so that they won't call child services...
...I'm in a rather hyper mood right now, so I'm kinda blurting out random thoughts. Forgive me. xd

I finally have up to vol. 11 X3 I'm so mad at the ending though. Meh. ~_~;;;
Oh and the movie? Even better. ^^ Don't bother telling me the acting sucks, or it's too slow, or whatever. I don't care--it's not supposed to make sense either. I'm watching it just because I want to, and I must say, L is really damned pretty.
I love Matsuyama Kenichi~ heart [actor who plays L]
Speaking of L...I love his real name. It's so L-like. xd

Deathnote is great I love the way it was maked. I love the plot line and the imagination put into it. But the drawings are a bit to out there.
