Well... Let's look at this in a more economic and resonable perspective.

If the chip bag was filled to the top, I think that the bag of chips would cost a lot more...

That, and if the chip back has to extra air space, I think the chips would get crushed much more easily...

But yeah, I wish we could get more for one's money. xp
