I haven't actually seen or read it, but I have taken a few looks at some Chobits' pictures not even knowing what it was.
Are you sure they're robots?
I always thought they were like clockwork girls.

No no no! The girl in black is Freya, and she is Chii's sister.

Freya lives inside of Chii. She loved her creator, even though he loved their 'Mother.' Her love strained her systems, and she shut down permanently. But Chii took Freya's spirit inside of her, to immortalize Freya in her mind and allow Freya another way to keep living.

*End spoilers.*

She isn't evil! She helps Chii a lot. She teaches Chii about 'the person just for her.' In fact, my favorite part of the series is 'A city with no people.' I have only read the manga, but I loved Freya and Chii. But Freya is good!

I got to read a lot of the manga and i think i watched all the anime... but i still love Sumomo and her wake up dances 3nodding she's soooo cute!!!! but Chi's other self is very cool.

I really loved Chobits the first time I saw it. It was actually my first anime and it got me hooked. I like the episode where Hideki gets the online game and tries to find Chii who seems to be on the wrong server. It's random and I love how Hideki always makes a fool of himself with his sexual insecurities. Oh and don't forget the underpants episode...now that's a favorite! Great anime.

I don't understand why some people call Freya "Dark Chii" and such-_-' it specifically mentions in the anime that she's Chii's older sister sad
but why in the manga is Sumomo called Plum?O_o
