I actually felt kinda bad about it, clearly it was a mistake....

I suppose there are some users who are totally desperate for cash to finish a deal or buy a specific item.
If everyone just sat on their items it would be a pretty boring economy.

Japan's economy has been stuck in a deflationary/flat state for 15 - 20 years. Almost no growth. Not what we consider a healthy economy. Most of the people save too much and it stifles demand.

I just got a Letter from Gambino as a throw in on a trade! I had no idea it was worth anything at all.

Yes, but looking at it at a different angle: We get the technology just as they get the glitches out. xd They have to deal with the recalls and problems of first edition releases.

I am just speaking on an economic level, it has nothing to do with culture or creativity. They just have a stagnant economy. I think that is starting to change though.

I bid on an won a March sealed for 12900 ^_^ Then I put it on the market for 15999 (anticipating a mad rush for them before the items are revealed) and someone bought it right away even though the lowest buy price was 14400 sweatdrop I felt kinda bad...
