IvoryPaws biggrin Yep, I love old and oldish movies, here's a few more on the "oldish" list. Airplane! Blade Runner Caddyshack The Fog (original) Young Frankenstein (all of Mel Brooks) The Breakfest Club (most of John Hughes) Pink Panther series Dirty Dancing Dirty Harry Clue Funny thing about Dirty Harry is that I grew up on those movies when i was a kid. usually children are stuck to cartoons like loonie toons or disney films but i watched rated r movies instead. boy what a fun child hood. lol

When I think old, I'm not really going anything over 1975...
Singin' in the Rain Monty Python and the Holy Grail Some Like it Hot Wizard of Oz Calamity Jane Summer Stock The Odd Couple The Apartment Night of the Living Dead (the original) Arsenic and Old Lace Bringing Up Baby Road to Bali (and pretty much all the other "Road to..." movies) Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Now those are some oldies but definitely goodies!

My mom looked at it kind of like "If it's too inappropriate for your kid, you shouldn't watch it either." So I got to see all kinds of movies. smile

Wow there are some amazing examples there. I love old kung fu movies, and not so old movies like snatch, lock stock, and layer cake. And what about the james bond movies. <3

This thread was misleading.
:'[
I was hoping to see more posts in favour of films like:
On The Waterfront The Ghost And Mrs. Muir Now, Voyager An Affair To Remember Dracula ('31) The Wild One Rebel Without A Cause The Creature From The Black Lagoon It Happened One Night The African Queen Gone With The Wind The Raven ('35) etc.
They're some of my faves. :]

No ones gone really far back yet. Im a big 1930s-1940s movie whore. SO lets not forget Spider Baby and the ageless classics like wolfman an dracula and night of the living dead and such.
Plus all the great musicals. State Fair, Annie Get Your Gun, 7 Brides for 7 Brother [my favorite], The King and I, Guys and Dolls... really anything besides Cats lolz.

Yay, old school movies ftw. biggrin Quite a lot of the already listed movies are favorites of mine. Some I'm glad they brought to DVD since the old tapes wore out. Labyrinth Robin Hood: Men in Tights Disney effing Classics! TMNT
...The list is long, I'll just say I agree with a lot of the above.
