let me make this clear people that right slash for series or read slash for series are retarded even if you think of slash in series i don't care if your gay bi or lesbien but don't put it into the damn stories when you well know that they don't feel that way. and dammit that sight yeah right hints what the hell every single title discription say sam/janet or sam finds out feelings about janet blah blah blah blah blah. just don't mention crap stories like that.

just becaus eyou don't like it ,doesn't mean that others might want to read it..and i put it in the description so that people know what it is and can choce to read it or not...

yeah you said that kind of flippsied with the because you dont doest mean that others want thing and next time if you would put it as the first think not the last or after the link because some people screw reading the description and go straight to the stories.

thats not the point what if you read a story where daniels having sex with everyone. sure funny for about a minute then you think thats not him and would never ever be him and you would probably be pissed and disappointed at the writer for writing the story like that.

you won't be pissed if that is what you want to read or try to find storeis where things like that happens....

it's all about prefernces and that everyone is different and that what you like sin't what others likes....

What if its a believable slash/ummm, whats the term for lesbian (?) story? One that doesn't actually go against Jack, Daniels, Sams, etc, characters?

I know someone is going to say that, for instance, Daniel being gay is against his character, but what if, again, for example, he was bi? That would fit in with his relationships with Sha're and Vala, and Sarah, etc.

"Totally against your characters credo" sounds more like a rail against bad writing, which I completely agree with. Theres no point reading fanfic if Jack has no resemblance to himself and might as well be called Bob. But jack being bi does not, in fact, disturb his character in any way. Does he ever expressly say hes hetero? In fact, he never would/could, because hes in the military. Same for Sam. Does Daniel? Teal'c? Do we know how Jaffa society regards homosexuality, bisexuality? I don't think its ever actually said, so how can you say that Teal'c being bi is plain wrong?

Evidence, essentially, give me evidence that a character being bi (which is how most slash/lesbian stories I've seen are portrayed) is totally against their credo.

Can you make a rational argument that doesn't revolve around you just not liking it?

However, its been made a rule that you can't post links or actual slash/lesbian (whats the right term?? gonk ) stories on this page, so no matter how eloquent our arguments, we still can't do it.

Unless we get Kaiser to change his mind. Unlikely.

The only term I've ever seen for that is "femmeslash", but I doubt it's the official one.

I've seen 'les-slash', but every lesbian I know gets offended at that term, so I never use it. Hell, I'll just say lesbian stories from now on.

femslash is what i say..hehehe...and it gives hits when i search on it...so yeah....

anyways...i think it's wrong to make it a rule not to post anything that has to do with fanfiction that isn't "normal".....by normal i mean sam and jack pairings and all that....

and i'm thinking of leaving the guild....probably no one that notices that i'm gone if i do decide to leave, but i think it's wrong to not let everyone be included with what they like to read.... sweatdrop

i for one would love to hear where others read their slash fiction and so on.....

I'd notice if you leave! But I agree, if I can't post up slash then I can't post up half my stories. Whats the point of being in a guild, or on Gaia at all, in fact, if you can't talk about what you like?
