The Non-Forgiving Forest

"P-Promise you will come back?" Kristi said the last words

I kissed her forehead and smiled sweetly.

"I will," I said. "He'll take you out of the book and you'll be safe. Just stay with him for as long as you can," I added and pushed her gently to get into Chinton.

"B-Bye..." Kristi said and get out of the book

'Miss, fear not for her. She had just forgotten that she was the one who created the forest in the first place,' Chinton said to the little girl.

"Y-Yeah sure..." Kristi answered and warm her self

'Are you cold, miss? I can turn into a cloak once again for you,' Chinton said softly. The book lay on the ground, looking harmless.  

[Crew Draggy]

"N-No , it's okay...." Kristi said to not disturb Chinton  

[Nick_austin90]

"Sorcerer! I'm here now! No tricks and no more running! What do you want with me?" I shouted in the throne room. Suddenly he appeared in front of me and nearly made me scream in terror. He smiled.

"I'm glad," he said. "But I'm afraid you have to send back this chain," he said as he motioned to the necklace Kristi had given to me. I glared at him.

"Never. She made this for me and I shall keep it," I said defiantly. He shook his head.

"No. You must not be tied to the past or you can never move on," he said and in an instant he grabbed the necklace and it disappeared in a blur of light.

"NO! That was my only reminder of my relatives! Give it back!" I punched him squarely on the face and he fell.

"No, that is what you don't want. You mustn't be tied ti the future. You belong with me in the past," he smiled still but I can never sense malice behind his smile. Tears welled at my eye rims.

The necklace appeared at the spot of the book and the book disappeared.

"W-What?! M-My Ne-Necklace?!" Kristi said worriedly....

"C-Chii...." Kristi start crying

"C-Could you take me to her..." Kristi asked Chinton

'I-I can try,' Chinton said. 'But we must go to the non-forgiving forest for that and my energy is low. We have to rest first.' Chinton transformed into a ball of fur and bounded to a nearby inn. Then he transformed into a cloak once again wore himself on Kristi.

'Mistress left some money in the pocket. She had been planning to stay before she said that to you,' Chinton said. 'Miss. why not we wait till you are a lady before we enter the forest? You can learn martial arts first and the art of magic before we go there. Mistress can wait because the sorcerer really wanted her. You should grow up first.' Chinton quivered a little when he felt tears falling onto him.

'It was mistress's wish. She could be right eventhough she knew nothing yet at the time,' Chinton added.

"G-grow up...." Kristi said and remembered her memory

"Kristi! Don't go over there it's too dangerous" Julie said and ran to take Kristi

"M-Mom b-but i can be alone" Kristi answered struggling in Julie's hands

"Kristi...." Julie sighed

"You need to grow up to do such things okay? wink " Julie said slowly to Kristi

'I'm sorry. Did I say something wrong? You look sad,' Chinton asked.

"A Um.... N-Nothing..." Kristi said and lay down on a bed

'Will you honor her thought?' Chinton asked after a moment of hesitancy.

"Yeah....I'am just worried about her...." Kristi said slowly
