Cam looked over at Jun for a moment before shrugging and walking behind the tree that the other was leaning on. She would take this time to train, even if she wasn't in the training area she would still be able to get some work in. Facing the river she began recalling lessons of old and one came to mind before the others. It was a beginner technique that would allow her to shock her enemies into a stupor long enough to save her skin. Focusing long enough the hand signs came to her in a flurry. Working her way through the signs she brought her chakra in a concentrated point in her hands. The tingle it gave her reminded her of the feeling that comes with waking a sleeping limb. It wasn't painful to her but she knew that if she used it on a living target it would get quite a little shock of it. Unfortunately it wasn't much more than that. A distraction, albeit a shocking one, but not enough to do serious damage or get her a safe distance from harm. "It was a start though," she thought to herself as she remembered that you could train the technique a few times and have a real shocker on your hands.

Cam wasn't overly impressed by the technique in it's basic form but with a little determination she would keep at training the skill till the sun fell from the sky if it took that long to advance it. Presuming, however, that Masahiro-sama didn't have other plans. Refocusing herself and her Chakra she imagined an attacker. A large male figure the size of a bear, who was coming at her. She needed a stronger dose of Muscle Shock to bring him down. Concentrating for a moment she was able to bring her Chakra down to her hands with more force than before.

The tingling was more intense now and she could tell that if there were an attacker she had no doubts that he would be rendered stock still for nearly 10 minutes. It was a perfect way to avoid combat and/or get out of a nasty situation. She knew there were ways to continue on training the skill but she wasn't sure here was the best place for such a thing and it would be easier to have a living target as well. For now Cam just sat back and tried to relax while she and Jun waited for the others.

"I arrived before both of you, and it looks like our target is over there near the falls. I see you've been busy down there while I've been trying to investigate from up here. Let's move out and hope the others catch up with us soon enough." Hatake Masahiro called down to the two genin below as he dropped from the sky, landing between them.

Taking point he lead the two of them through the grasses leading up towards their mission point and the waterfall, turning back from time to time to make sure they were still close behind him. Two genin and a jounin on a simple investigation mission, this should pass by soon enough. Still, some thought of a deeper malady was set upon him. Not fading with the time or the distance traveled as they crossed the field towards the oddly concentric circles.

At first Hatake Masahiro didn't know what to make of it, and in short order he pulled out a small sketch book, a little daily journal as he viewed it, and began to sketch down the design lain within the circles. Turning back to his students he tilted his head somewhat as he looked at how the grass surrounding this larger design was perfectly broken down, not stomped or flattened, but cut, to a perfect precision. He waited to see if any of them would have anything to say about it.

Without taking too much longer to linger on the facts of what was going on, Masahiro took to examining the area around the circle. The blades of grass were in fact finely trimmed, broken down, and then drawn over, and the ink in the writing was not fading. It was like the work of fuuinjutsu, but without the connecting inner workings, no sense of balance or work of summoning called for this. Shrugging he let his shoulders roll back and in time settled his wracked nerves.

Looking back to his two students he called out to them, motioning for them to advance up the field towards himself.

"Alright, it looks like the area is clear. I've marked the exact location of this down on the map and will be turning it into Hokage Noctis-sama. To turn in credit for the whole squad, however, I'll need the two of you to remain here until Terra and Koan arrive and snoop around this a bit." He began, investigating the two women's faces.

"If they discover anything odd or new about these circles, please leave a notice for me. I may be getting sent out away from the village for a few days after tonight." Masahiro told Jun and Annalisa, placing a hand on the latter's shoulder.

As he finished speaking he wrote down a final marker on the map he had been provided when he took this job and made off for the residence of the Hokage.

She stood there for a minute just stock still. She didn't immediately shrug his hand off her shoulder, however, in that time she thought of her father. It was a simple gesture that he used to do before he died. Any time Cam had felt overwhelmed or stressed he would put his hand on her shoulder and tell her that everything was alright. Thinking on it she realized that Masahiro may have known her father and, given they were around the same age, they might have even trained together. Not letting her thoughts stray much more than that she simply nodded her head as he walked away.

The circles on the ground weren't exactly threatening in and of themselves they just were. That was the problem she guessed, that because no one really knew how they got there or why. They were perfectly sculpted as if someone took their time with this 'project' . Walking up to the circles she ran her hand over the ink that had been laid. It was dark in color and precisely even. It looked like something a very bored nin with Fuuinjutsu would do.

Masahiro had left a little while ago and Cam was growing bored of the non-threatening circles that had been drawn into the grasses. Looking over to the waterfall for a moment she spoke to Jun. "Might as well train while we wait" she said using her best Masahiro-sama impression. Humor wasn't her speciality but she wanted to break the aura of dread that came with investigating the unknown. Plus if she was going to be stuck with Jun they might as well have a normal speaking relationship instead of both of them being silent the whole time.

Koan made her way along the river until she saw her two other squad mates and smiled slightly though she was still very very angry at mashi for breaking up their fight. If he hadnt stepped in she could have easily won that fight. Koan walked over to her squad mates and said," Hello. Forgive me but I dont think we have been properly introduced. My names Uchiha Koan, at your service." After she gave her name she gave a quick formal bow.

Having followed Masahiro over to the spot, Jun wasn't impressed to see more circles. Although, she supposed this was supposed to be troubling if there were more circles around the village. Then their teacher was leaving for some non-specific reason and they would have to wait around here for who knew how long. Sighing softly, Jun rubbed her forehead but nodded in return to Masahiro's words.

Jun had been staring off in some non-specific direction when the other shinobi spoke up. Train? "Why?" replied the shinobi, not immediately seeing the reasons as to why she should train with the other. The fact was, if they were just going to be waiting around here, even Jun would be bored out of her mind. Napping could only last her for so long after all. If they were going to wait for Masahiro then she'd have to fill the time somehow. Plus... it'd probably earn her a better standing if she found some way to bond with the others then he might leave her alone for a bit.

It was at that point that the girl from before came in, to which Jun glanced over and said "Great, I'm Jun." Turning her gaze back to Annalisa she said "Fine. What did you have in mind?"

Turning so that she was standing in a way that she faced both of the others at the same time, she nodded her head in acknowledgement to them. "My name is Annalisa Cambria, but it would be easier if you just called me Cam." her ver voice carried easily over the small space. She paused for a moment before looking at Jun and answering her question. "I was thinking of sparring off with you or perhaps Koan but since she has sparred more recently than either you or myself she might not be interested in such. Mayhaps she would keep score?' she finished as she looked towards the girl who had introduced herself as such.

Cam wasn't sure what to make of the whole idea of being in a "team" but she was willing to work with Koan and the other female who had still yet to show. Jun was another story since she wasn't on the team but it was obvious that Masahiro trusted her or he wouldn't have left the team with her. Jun also seemed reasonable and would understand that, despite her advanced age over most Genin, that she didn't have much more training than them. Cam hadn't sparred since her academy days but that didn't mean that she didn't know how to it just meant she was out of practice.

"Score?" repeated Jun, raising a brow and not understanding why someone would need to keep score. Either one person would say 'uncle' or it would just go on. She guessed it was different with different people, but what did it matter? "Fine, so are we gonna start a spar right now or what?" She was pretty sure this was that 'team bonding' thing that Masahiro might want them to do. It wasn't as if Jun was apart of the team though... and he wasn't actually her teacher... so wait, why was she doing what he said? Right, missions later for money, she'd almost forgotten about that.

Terra and her panther Gwenhyvar appeared in the distance before they spotted the Uchiha and two others Terra recognized from the academy. Walking right up to them, they stood there as Terra scratched Gwenhyvar behind the ears, "Hey guys. I'm Terra Senju. Nice to meet you."

She looked at the purple cat with some degree of interest. Cam hadn't been out and about for some time and seeing a Tamer's animal was still a bit of a shock for her. Taking a step back so she was able to see everyone she spoke to Jun, "We can spar here, if you'd like. I don't mind" Cam had never seen Jun fight but the fact that she was surrounded by nature and the river meant it was pretty much anyone's game.

The air around her was calm, the voices of the song birds breaking the silence from time to time. With a deep breath, Cam was ready and with a shrug she bowed to Jun and took a few steps away from Koan and Terra so they wouldn't accidentally be caught in the crossfire. Assuming a relaxed stance she held out her right hand and waved her fingers at Jun, showing that she was ready for combat. Her left hand was held behind her back and was going through a flurry of signs preparing for her first attack.

Was she really taking this long to launch a single attack? Sighing, Jun didn't bother to move and she let the other continue with her hand seals. After all, she wasn't going to run in and get blasted with whatever attack Cam decided to start with. Still, perhaps she could end this fight before it even started and save herself a headache.

Jun raised her hands and moved through the seals necessary for her genjutsu. "Oi, do you really think that's going to work?" asked Jun, needing the other's attention to make eye contact with Cam. If their eyes met, then the blonde would be fixed with an unnerving glare from Jun. Considering the girl had basically had an air of apathy around her, this malicious glare would probably come off as startling.

"Masahiro isn't around, that means he isn't here to stop me from breaking your bones and pounding you into the dirt. If I were you... I'd do the smart thing and back off." Jun's tone even matched the glare, threatening, menacing, even if it was a bluff it seemed as if she really would seriously hurt Cam.

After watching how Jun acted with Masahiro-sama and the others it was difficult to take what she was hearing in stride. She knew Jun to be laid back and well, lazy, for lack of a better term. It was probably just a front, a really good one, that if she hadn't been paying attention, probably would have worked. Besides Cam wasn't much for intimidation especially since she knew that despite the fact that Masahiro wasn't there that there were witnesses and Cam was a med nin. Broken bones didn't bother her since it wouldn't be difficult to just heal them.

Raising an eyebrow at Jun's comment Cam just hauled off from her stance in a quick lunge focusing her Chakra and her gaze on the others heart Chakra point. She wanted her attack to be spot on and needed to pay attention to the other's movements. She didn't want to miss and let Jun have the advantage not with her lack of training since graduating, putting her at a serious disadvantage. Bring her hands up she quickly thrust her left hand towards Jun's chest while using her forward momentum to try and push her off balance and her right to perform the hand signs for her next offensive burst. Chakra built up in her feet as she moved. Her first attack would, with any luck, strike home.
