William Radcliffe Will chuckled. Every time she described Slytherins as creepy snake people, he got a good chuckle in. Then, he let out a heavy sigh. "Yeah, I'm thinking either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor for him. Me, I'm definite for Gryffindor. You probably are too." He looked over at her and gave her a goofy, yet endearing smile.

William RadcliffeWill didn't hear her apologize because he burst into laughter, and it didn't occur to him that she had until he finished. "No, no, no. That's a pretty accurate description of most Gryffindors, actually. Me, my sister and our friend Lucy got into some idiotic, yet brave adventures over the summer. Hell, me and Tammy have gotten into some odd adventures by ourselves. I thought our friend Daemon would surely end up in Gryffindor since he adventures with us, but... he wound up with the creepy snake people. Weird..."

William RadcliffeWill shook his head. "We're only perceived as underachievers. I mean, my sister is taking four extracurricular classes this year, in addition to all her major classes. And look at Hermoine Granger. Possibly the best witch of our time. She was a Gryffindor."

"Well Tyler, it seems you have a better chance already." Ryn said with a laugh. "What are you lot on about? What is quidditch? Cannons are too bulky to be much fun, so I am sure I heard you wrong..." someone said from another boat. "Oh you must be from a muggle family. Quidditch is a magical sport played on brooms in the air. It is really quite amazing to watch. You will have a house team once your sorted and can go watch them at their games." explained Ryn with a smile. "Isn't this lake amazing?" came from the other side "There's merpeople!" Shouted a girl from yet another boat. Ryn looked at her in confusion. In Hogwarts A History she had read that the merpeople lived across the lake just off from the castle. 'I guess they could venture out this far but mum always said to be cautious of them.' Ryn thought on it more. Her mom had told her a story where a man had followed one into the water mesmerized and then as soon as he was under, they held him down till he stopped breathing and pushed him back to shore. They had even rejected their status as being to be classified as beast. Ryn knew to be very cautious of the merpeople. " Just be careful, you never know what they are going to do!" yelled Ryn back to the girl, suddenly the giant squid didn't seem so bad.

Taylor looked away from Ryn and Tyler, who were talking about Quiddich, a game Taylor had never heard of. From what she heard them say, It was a school sport that was also played officially, The school had a team for each House, and it was played while flying on brooms.
Flying? Definitly not playing that. Taylor sighed and looked into the water.
