Half-Blood War (Aslumber)

Devon walked over to the guard and took the block from him. The guard walked away, back to wherever he came from. "Is that all you need her to know? Any other information I should tell her?" He pocketed the item, making it "disappear".

Luna jumped when her name was called out. "A-alright." Oceanas huffed at Gerad's question and turned his side closer to him, offering a ride. Luna smiled. "I think he forgave you Gerad."

Ren sighed and closed her eyes. She was hoping she could go with Jason. Oh well... She just knew she was so tired. She breathed slowly, close to falling asleep. Len watched Jira standing in the door. She sure was one tough cookie.

"Fine then, if you choose to be irrational then don't expect any help from me in the future." Jason continued to walk down the street.

Gerad smiled. "Thank you. I don't know how far I could've gone on foot." Gerad jumpped onto Oceanas' back as lightly as he could, not wishing to upset him again.

Oceanas scrapped his right hoof on the brick road. Luna put her hand on his neck, smiling. She started to walk, Oceanas right beside her. "I'm sorry that you're so tired, Gerad." Luna looked up at him. She didn't feel all that bad. There was a lot of mist forming on the roads. Ever since the mist showed up she felt... Rejuvenated. She didn't really get it.

Gerad smiled at Luna, laying down on Onceanas' neck, rubbing his soft mane. "Well if it meant you didn't have to be then i'll be fine. Besides I had some fun. Theras is good. I'd like to have a fight with him one on one with no distractions one day. Something about fighting that gets my blood pumping." Gerad smiled widely at Luna.

"Well...that being that, find somewhere to sleep or stay up if you want. I'll be in the next room; my cot's there." Jira nodded to herself in pride at "solving" the recent "problem". Then she skirted around the furniture and went back to her well-used workplace, leaving the door open just a crack to let the warm glow light the room dimly.

"Uh..." Erik gave a quiet cough, getting up from his seat to the pot of food on the stove. "If you haven't noticed already, she...has a bit of a temper. Worthy of any blacksmith, I guess." He tried to make as less noise as possible as he looked to find just the right spot. "Blankets and pillows are in the pile gathered there when you need them."

Hades sat quietly, his face impassive as he thought. "No, that appears to be all for now. Keep in mind, young demi-god that if harm in any way shall befall her from you, I will enjoy welcoming you here." He gave a wry smile to Devon, settling back onto his throne comfortably. "You may leave." As his father dismissed Devon, Theras stood, deciding that with his own business done he would finally rest for the time being. He turned his blindfolded eyes to Devon. "Give Gerad my regards. I enjoyed sparring with him."

"I couldn't say the same for me I'm afraid." Luna thought to herself for a moment. "But when I use my powers, it seems that I'm a whole other person. I don't think about that I'm hurting someone." She was worried at this thought. She hated hurting people.

Devon withheld a glare towards Hades and an inappropriate comment about it would be his daughter doing the harming if she actually... He bowed so he could hide his smile. "Yes, Hades. You have my word. Though I can't promise you the others wont try." He was standing upright now, his smile gone. He nodded towards Theras' request before he turned and the small demons from before ran up to his side, escorting him out.

Ren was already asleep on the couch, breathing slowly and quietly. Len watched her for a while before replying to Erik with a smile. "Yeah, its quite obvious."

Amia takes one of the blankets and sits down in a chair by the door. "Um...goodnight twins, Rhi." she said in a meek voice. She settled herself in the chair and quickly fell asleep, dreaming of the times she had spent with her mother.

Malinda walked outside of her room, and sat one the ground by the door. She hugged her knees to her chest and gazed up at the sky. Her side still kinda of hurt; maybe she should go get looked at? She shook her head, answering her own question.

They were quicker leaving than they came in. Wait... They may have left Hades' home, but they weren't leaving the underworld yet. The demons left him outside of the gates when they turned to leave, snickering. "Hey, wait!" Devon yelled at them but they kept walking. Damnit. He focused on Malinda's now familiar presence. Once he met a dimi-god, he could directly find them, Jason the only exception. Time to search. He let out a deep sigh and began walking towards her presence, making the feeling in his gut get tighter with each step.

Erik returned the smile to Len. He walked over silently and shook a thin blanket loose, presenting it to the male twin for his sleeping sister. "I'll be upstairs in the loft...room, if you need anything." After making sure that his bow and quiver were safe together on the counter, he began to climb the tight stairs, the tiniest creak the only sound from them.

Theras turned to exit through the side door he'd originally entered from. He would tell Malinda that she was allowed on the surface with him if she didn't already glean that from Devon. "You fought?" He topped in his tracks, staring straight ahead at the sound of his father's words. "Yes." "Did you win?" Silence, before--"It was interrupted and had to end in a draw." Aware of the eyes staring at the back of his head he continued, ignoring the stiffening guards at his passing, as he took the path to his room. "I expect more, in the future."

Rhi took a pillow and blanket and also settled herself into a comfortable position on the couch. She wasn't sure how easily she would be able to sleep though. The moon was out; Rhi always felt more awake in the light of the moon. I suppose if Artemis really is my mother... The events of the day also ran through her skull like an old cinema film, each time she went over them again, the more she scrutinized her actions. No use thinking about what I could have done, she thought with a yawn, The important thing to do is to think of what I can do next time. Rhi looked around the now dark room. There were deep breaths coming from the female twin, Ren.
"Goodnight everyone," Rhi yawned once more before rolling over and allowing sleep to take full control of her.

Len thanked Erik and covered his sister with the blanket, tucking it around her body. He remembered tucking her in when they lived on the streets. He yawned and laid down facing the opposing way, his feet touching hers. He closed his eyes and laid still, waiting for sleep.

Gerad patted Luna on the head. "If you wish to be technical when we use our powers we become the god in us. Our human blood is overwritten to help us focus. So don't sweat it. It's just instincts." Gerad's eyes started to droop and his hand slid from Luna's head as he fell into a light sleep.

"So, he fell asleep huh?" Jason was infront, looking back. "Can't say I blame him, not many can fight Theras so equally. He gives me a handful most times. So tell me cousin, how has life been besides tonight? It's been a long time since last we met."

Luna smiled and nodded and picked up Gerad's hands to up put them around Oceanas' neck. She then looked at Jason a little confused. "I don't remember ever meeting you... But I've been okay. My mom..." She looked back. "My mom! Where did my mom ever go? I never saw her after she left." Luna's eyes started watering, the instant emotion overrunning her.
