Yuu nodded "As long as it is not smaller than half your Palm or bigger than it, it should be fine." he said as he quickly dabbed his finger in the batter in the bowl before licking it.

Roselia smiled softly at Yuu and nodded, "Alright, anything else I should know or do?" She asked as she poured the batter onto the prepared pan carefully.

Yuu shrugged "Not much else to do other then not burn it, by flipping them every so often." He said flipping one and checking most of the others.

Roselia nodded in understanding and busied herself with cleaning and helping Yuu throughout the kitchen. She hummed softly as she did, before, without her realizing it, it turned into singing.

Yuu after a few moments trieid to hum with her. "What is that song? he asked when he realized he did not recognize it.

Roselia blinked and turned to look at him, "Oh, I was singing? That's an old Elven lullaby. It's all I remember from my mother any longer." She admitted as she took a breath and smiled softly as she tilted her head to the side, "I don't even remember her face anymore."

(OOC:no idea why it repeated my post) Yuu looked at her than turned his head "What's it like to have a mom. If you don't mind me asking." he said flipping the pancakes that were done onto a plate.

Roselia tilted her head and bit her lip as she tried to think of a way to explain it, "It's.... it's hard to explain." She said, "It's... knowing that no matter what, there is always someone on your side. That someone is always worried and concerned for you, that knowing you get when there is someone you can always run to if something goes wrong, and they'll do their best to fix it." She smiled softly as she flipped a pancake, just to see if she could, "It's... there's nothing quite like it...."

Yuu nodded and quickly turned his head to wipe a tear off his cheek. "I see....So that is what it would have been like." He said as he went back to the pancakes to find that Riley was now standing next to him. "Relax Riley, your ham will be done in less time so I am waiting till last on it." He said petting Riley.

Roselia frowned slightly and moved over to hug Yuu, "Hey, please don't cry. Please?" She asked, "Truth be told I barely remember my mother. I was barely four human years old when my parents were killed in a raid on the Elven Queen's castle. And that was over two thousand years ago."

Yuu tried to smile slightly. "I never had one at all.....T-two thousand? How long do your people live?" He said trying to not sound stupid with the question, still wiping tears out of his eyes.

Roselia kissed the top of his head and smiled softly and she ran her hand through his hair, "My kind can live for centuries. I think the oldest of us could remember the time when the great Elven cities in the trees were just being planned. And that was so long ago there wasn't even written history of it." She hummed and then gently sang a few bars, "You may not have had a mother, but you are surrounded by your family. Naxus, Fixer, Mecha, Iron and Riley. Plus Sev and whoever else I haven't met yet. You're not alone."OOC: I have the feeling I'm forgetting someone >.<

Yuu nodded. "Thanks....Now I have you to...Well even if you want to be considered a friend only." He said before checking the pancakes that were left with his eyes. "We are almost to the point I have to work on Rileys food." He added getting the feeling Riley was still looking at him. OOC: I think that was everyone Roselias met so far....Well aside from all of Sevs team.
