Rina stretched herself out as she walked into Mushroom Kingdom. Despite her liking to play games, she doesn't really come here often! To be honest, she doesn't think she's ever come here at all! They've got cheap prices and a whole lot of games! She walked around for a bit until she saw a game she couldn't resist trying. The mighty claw machine.

She went up to it and looked inside, deciding whether any of the toys held within were good enough to play for. That's when she a set of three hamster toys that were a little close to one another. Okay, now she can't leave without getting at least one of them. Rina quickly went over to the change machine and converted three dollars into quarters before going back and psyching herself up. 12 tries! Claw games usually have really weak claws to make it harder for people to pick up the toys they want, so she has to try to hook the claw or have it grab an arm or a leg or something to get what she wants. And boy, she wants those hamsters!

Ryan Martinez Torrez

Walking around town with a downed cloud overhead. Ryan now had so much to worry about and a lot to start thinking of as he roam the streets of Soleil. He knew one thing for sure; He had to get his life together. Money right now was the key thing... selling an illegal product was something he was good at; Especially when under pressure. But right now Ryan was trying to rid himself of what weighed him down by getting his mind off of his current situation, even for just a moment.

So enters the sight of of a familiar tan girl making a fuss over...hamsters? Stuffed hamsters? It was maybe her third of forth try from the looks of this girl's determined eyes when Ryan began to watch and see how long this goes for. No longer being able to watch the struggle with a straight face Ryan walks away, heading to the cashier at the front desk in order to brake down a hundred dollar bill into twenties to be exchanged into eighty quarters through the machine which will be Rina's aid for claw game.

An audible clearing of his throat so that she may know a person is near, and then Ryan would step beside the sunshine girl and speak slightly teasingly to Rina. "There's a technique to winning this game." With a smooth slip of a quarter the game begins again and then with his hands to be a guide he would try teaching Rina timing and positioning of dropping the perfect claw.

Hopefully...Ryan was lucky and actually got the stuffed prizes of awesome, for we all know that like most old games such as this, the claw games are rigged.

Ugh! How can you be good at a game that's rigged? Rina was successful in bringing the pink hamster right to the slot but it fell out of the claw and now a part of it was just hanging off, tempting her. She tried again and she picked it up but it fell out and was still hanging over the edge. She picked it up once more but the same thing happened again! It's almost like it's refusing to come out! Rina was going to put in her fourth quarter for another try when she heard someone clear their throat behind her. She turned her head around and, Ryan! It's almost like they can't stop running into each other now! It was so hard for her to find him after the whole robbery thing happened but now they just seem to find each other! "Hi, Ryan!"

Rina didn't really get his teasing tone but looked back excitedly at the machine when it sounded like he was offering help and even put in one of his quarters for her. "Thank you! You keep on doing nice things for me!" She smiled brightly at him for a second before refocusing on her game. At least the one with the strawberry, come on! With Ryan's help, she was able to get the claw to grab most of the hamster's body! But then it slipped... And grabbed onto its arm! She began to jump a little in anticipation when the claw very slowly, but finally, brought over to the drop area. "Yes!" Rina quickly took the toy out of the machine and hugged it tightly immediately. "Thanks for your help! I'd go for the other ones but I think Seth would be upset if I got so many toys!" He's gotten some toys for her himself, but she was still pretty tempted to complete the set. They seriously were cute! She looked at the claw machine, still very tempted to keep going at her conquest for all three hamsters.

"Now how could someone be upset at that smile of yours Rina?" The young man smiles all the while he's near her and the sounds try to drown out the world around them as he shares a moment of peace with a darling little friend from the land of Soleil. He was glad to have seen Rina, and he happy-go-lucky charm was something he couldn't do without now that it seems fate brought them both to play and stay within good grace. "I got a tone of coins in my pocket. I don't think your boyfriend will be all that mad if you spend someone else's money." A charming smile as he spoke truth; Would a man get mad at a woman spending another's money? Ryan surely didn't mind and had so much time on his hands.

Taking a step to the claw game he figured he'd take a crack at getting one of the hamsters; The lucky one with the clover seeming to catch his eyes at it bask in the light of the machine above its head. "It's funny how fate keeps throwing us together, isn't it?" He'd ask with golden eyes reflecting their hopefulness off the mirror of the machine's background; His gaze like warm honey as he sees the hamster drop this time oh so close to the exit. "So, you got that day off from work or were you here on a mission to win that Hamtaro in your hands?"

The recharge time after the grand party yesterday did help for Hikaru since she was still a bit more overwhelmed by the events, more so with being the lucky girl who danced with Anthony and even receiving the painting. However, it didn't mean that she would be ready to open her heart to someone else just yet, more so with Ansgar walking away from her just like that. She had her breakfast together with Corbin and he would be busy with whatever his own business would be for today. So now, she flew all by herself to the arcade place to let off some steam. Several arcade sessions of Tekken 7 may help to release the tension. The fallen angel exchanged $1.50 off her wallet for the tokens and slipped the silver pieces into her jeans pocket so that she would start playing.

As soon as she sat down close to the arcade machine, she inserted a token into her slot and pressed start. This time, Hikaru chose Lucky Chloe as her character since it would be her first time using her. She would end up having to combat CPU characters since there would be no one else occupying the seat next to hers. But it wouldn't matter; she wouldn't mind warming up a little to get used to the character's attack moves.

Avery didn't felt like going to work today, she just wanted to sleep the whole day. There was something that was bothering her, though she couldn't get what it was. She looked around the sidewalk as she may her way to the arcade, watching people pass by her, going to stores, and just doing their own thing in life. She just rolled her eyes at the sight as she entered the arcade. Things were like usual at her job. People walking in, playing games, raging, and usual typical gamer status. Avery made her way pass all the commotion and into the employee room, clocking herself in and getting her name tag out of her locker as she placed her bag in.

Finishing her usual routine when coming to work, Avery walked out of the room, and started to scroll around the place. Checking if there's a machine that needs some work and watching as the customers enjoyed their game and taking a small peek at their game when she walked by. Avery's eyes caught to one of the customers at the newest machines that launched a new fighting game. The customer was playing by herself and watched as she selected female that had cat-like attire though moves like a dancer. She stayed and watched as she observed the female playing the game.

As time passed, Hikaru was now in stage 4, and she was getting pumped up. She took a deep breath as she waited for the match to begin. However, she was not aware that an employee was watching her closely, a demon who was working here for extra money. Because of that, as she was turning her head, the other female was close to her sight and she was spooked out. "W-woah! You are scaring the heck out of me. You must be working here, so good morning."

Her tone was a bit sheepish as she greeted the other. However, the match was about to begin, so Hikaru had to resume mashing the buttons and maneuvering the joystick. Without taking her eyes off the screen, she asked the employee in a casual manner. "Interested in my character? I just found her to be cute. But still, my main girls in the franchise are Lili and Alisa. Just decided to try someone new for once today." She should stop rambling and continue on with beating the heck out of the opponent close to Lucky Chloe, so she kept the speech short and simple.

The demon female didn't know she was that closed to the female as she played her game and jumped to see the female closed to her. With that small of a spook from the female, Avery's eyes shifted to her, opening her mouth in a small circle and listened as the girl spoke quite fast and then talked about the character she was using and her other main character's she used in the game. Avery wasn't too interested in the character she was using, though her game skills kinda hooked her attention. The demon simply shrugged in response, before putting her hands in her jean pockets. "Ehh.. She's not in my taste of a character. Too cheerful and girly like.", the demon said as she moved back a bit from the female concentrated in her game, "My preferences are mostly the cool looking characters like Jin or his devil self, Akuma, or Kazumi.. though depends on whoever I want to play.." With the Devil Jin in the game, she kinda wished she had those wings the character has. They always caught her eyes and was always into Jin's character. Though as she watched the female play her match, Avery decided to jump in to the next machine next to her and pop out a quarter. Couldn't hurt to play one game. Day was still beginning, and could probably bring her day upside down as her day was starting out crap.

The fallen angel had just won the first round, though she heard that her characters were not fitting well to the employee's taste. She nodded, knowing that the other female was inclined towards those who had a cool facade but with a dark past. "I do admit that they are not that bad as well," she spoke as her second round had begun. Hikaru was now mashing the buttons and moving the joystick to unleash the combos. But also, she had to guard the attacks as well; her character's Rage Art should be saved if she had to use it, as it would mostly be a one-time thing. Her blue eyes were intense with the concentration as she was focused on winning the round to advance to the next area.

Thankfully, she did win the match and was advancing to the next stage. Hikaru then noticed the plushies that were on display, with some of them resembling Rilakkuma. Her eyes were alight with the desire to buy one later. However, that would wait, as she had to focus on the first round and the match was about to commence.

Avery sat back to one of the chairs and looked at the machine in front of her as it played a practice CPU match. The screen showed Alisa and Lee fighting. She watched in silence as the female fighter pulled out her blades from her arms. Alisa wasn't much the taste of the demon, though she did have some good moves. Especially the blades and the fact she was a robot or android, she could disconnect her body parts and then would recreate themselves. The demon female, pulled out her wallet and unzipped the coin bag, pulling out a quarter, and inserting the coin to the machine, starting up the machine with the intro of the game logo. Pressing one of the buttons, the demon pushed the joy stick down to the arcade option, pressing one of the buttons, and landing to the character selection. It didn't take her a while to pick out a character to use and selected Jin. With the screen loading the match, Avery shifted her eyes back at the female.

"So are you here to relax your mind or something?", the female question, trying to engage some kind of conversation as she did kinda somehow spook the girl of her presence. Reverting her eyes back to the screen, her first opponent being Xiaoyu. Her first opponent isn't so bad, she actually like how that character plays and a worthy one. Though having to adjust to the machine controls than the usual controller she plays on, she got hit first. Fighting games in those machines were a downfall for her, especially having her whole hand on the it and having not back triggers on it. She had some troubles into beating her first opponent though somehow made it through with just a small slice of health. If it was a controller it would much easier.

Hikaru's next opponent was Josie Rizal, a girl with Filipina heritage with the name based on the hero who was a famous novelist also. As she was focusing on the combat, the question came about on her true purpose of coming here. Now she was feeling a bit uneasy, considering that the employee had known the current mood she was in, but there was nothing she could do about it. The fallen angel simply nodded, close to beating the heck out of her foe. "Stressful day yesterday, I know. A lot had happened." She didn't have the heart to tell about the enchanted meeting with Anthony, for it still bothered her up to this day.

She was able to win Round 1, so there she was with the same strategy of learning the movements before diving in. But that was not without difficulty, considering that Josie unleashed her super moved and Lucky Chloe's HP bar was depleted by a huge chunk because of that.
