Attempting to move forward a little more, Zin, as he immerged from the water, would pull himself up from the edge of the small pond and return back towards his pile of scrolls with Nagi in tow. Thinking about drying up before doing anything more strenuous, Zin decided he'd work on his puppetry a little further, so that he may start woking techniques that actually hold water combatively.

Outstretching his hand as he took a couple of paces away from his previously summoned puppet and focused his chakra into fine strings to release from his hand and fill the puppet up with his chakra. Consider the technique he learned before this, Zin didn't find much difficulty in learning the jutsu and had the puppet moving at his whims without much issue. Even starting to give him ideas to modifications he'd like to implement on his future puppets.

She arrived at academy rather quickly and only found that her squad "leader" wasn't here yet. Apparently Kya moved faster than he did. That didn't leave her feeling great about this mission thing. Though perhaps that was because she still had a sour taste for that degenerate being given a pass for his social detriments but she had been expected to be a punching bag rather than allowing her fight in close quarters her way. There was no point in simply wasting time by sitting around and waiting for the others so Naomi set about reviewing some more medical techniques.

At present learning some more offensive or defensive rather than utility techniques could prove beneficial. Moving into the academy she went and found the medical section of it's library and began to study. Muscle shock,
it was simple but could be quite effective. [E-rank]

Build up chakra and strike in singular motion. The mantra repeated in her head as she practiced. Creating the shock part wasn't too difficult. [1] With her natural talent for medical jutsu the training went pretty quickly. But she needed this technique to be a bit more effective than stopping say a civilian rapist. Continuing to practice she focused on upping the strength of the shock.[2] [D-Rank]

Her technique was getting better but if she was really going to go up against those UHV guys it needed to become stronger still. Strike while building up the charge. Strike while building up the charge The words repeated over and over again in her head.[1] That was the mantra, it helped to commit the technique to muscle memory so that when the time came it wouldn't take any extra thought to disable an enemy trying to fight hand to hand. Or even one trying to grapple her for that matter. With the motion of her strike she also worked on growing the strength of the charge. [2] With deep chakra reserves this kind of repetitive training really wasn't all that difficult for the girl to perform. The results of her training slowly became more and more apparent as cracks of electricity sparked at her finger tips. Sweat ran down her brow as the training became more intense too. [3] [C-Rank]

I can do better than this! Egging herself on the girl continued to pour effort out into improving. This was who she was at heart.
Someone that trained with all their effort and never stopped until each and every technique she learned was a capable tool. [1] The motion of the strike and the process of building a charge was beyond familiar now. To make things harder she began to practice alternate strike forms. Things like the angle of attack, different styles of strikes, and even defensive based strikes.
[2] It was growing much more difficult now. Her limits were soon approaching but Naomi knew she could push this kind of technique to her very edge of ability. Psychologically it wasn't very hard to do so when your very life might depend on it. [3] Ragged off breath she told herself to finish strong. Just a little more, only a few more minutes. By telling herself just a little more each time she faltered the girl managed to keep going. Eventually she entirely satisfied and allowed herself to stop. [4] [B-Rank] [Muscle Shock learned and trained]

There were other offensive medical techniques that could be useful but she was short on time so they'd have to wait since muscle shock provided such a potent defense. Expanding her repertoire of healing techniques was next up on the list. Grabbing an additional scroll that contained what she desired, the girl studied up on the adhesive technique. [E-Rank]

The adhesive technique had essentially two different applications. Application one was using it to aid in the healing process by helping to glue wounds together. Application two was horrifically binding living matter together to act as a disgusting restraint. [1] Naomi was going to study both applications today. The first use of the technique was pretty straightforward. Essentially the only thing one had to do was apply small applications of chakra to a wounded area to create to organic bindings. It would stop the bleeding by itself but when applied to stitching or prior to an application of healing hands it was rather effective. [2] [D-Rank]

For the second variant she would need to bind parts of her opponents flesh together. It was disturbing visually, or at least so she thought. By doing much the same as she did for veins or the cuts on skin she could create an organic adhesive that would lock limbs or digits to other pieces of flesh. [1] The size and amount of chakra would apparently go a long way for determining just how strong those bindings were. Naomi continued to study the text while reflecting on just how such a technique functioned. If she could understand the technique on a mental level it'd be easier to project it in her for some mental training.[2] [C-Rank]

It was all starting to come together. Conceptually she understood both how to create the tiniest of organic sutures to buttress stitching and she also understood the large scale usage. With both of these things now nestled within her mind it was time to project a scenario in her mind and more directly work with the chakra. [1] A scene unfolded before her mind, one person laying on their back arm bleeding, and the other standing in a fighting position. She'd ignore the latter for now and practice the healing application first. The would was small but serious. [2] She'd start by stitching it up before laying her hands upon the wound. Using the technique would cause organic material to construct within the hosts body as a form of patchwork flesh connection. In time it would be absorbed back into the body but for now it would help to keep the stitches together. [3] Next was the person in the combat stance. Naomi would avoid the illusionary strike they threw and touch her hand to the inner crease of their elbow. A rapid explosion of chakra caused her hand to leave behind a mass of flesh that held their arm in a crooked position. Their elbow was firmly locked in place now and was prevent for going straight. For many people their arm would be disabled in this kind of situation. [4] [B-Rank] [Adhesive learned and trained]

After that technique she moved onto a very important technique for her learn.
Being able to up ones resistance to a poison on the fly was highly important for a medical ninja. Whether it was staying active in a fight or preventing accidental exposure during treatment it was essential that she not become poisoned. Practicing the technique for several minutes she eventually called it quits and put all the scrolls away. [learned Power of Resistance]

After training some more Naomi would return to waiting for the others to arrive.

Zin decided to go a little bit further with his puppet art as he placed on his clothes that, though were a bit damp, weren't as soaked as when he originally removed them. Settling back with Nagi and his training puppet, Zin would start to modify it's mechanics a little to be more than a laughing stock of a combatant to utilize. Placing the training puppet to begin making it something a bit more lethal, Zin would detach the head and look at the scroll of the mechanics needed to create the technique. It seemed that, for the most part, he just needed to create a launching system that would fire away triangular bladed weapons at his opponent, that as they passed out of the puppet, would ignite the explosive tags so that they may explode by the time they hit the opponent.

That seemed simplistic enough. Equipping the torso of the puppet a launching system along the sides to fire at a triangular motion, Zin would have piece of flint that, given the force of the launch of the projectiles, would ignite the explosive tags. Giving the launcher a little test run to make sure it was firing blankets appropriately, Zin would let Nagi evaluate his work before moving onwards to another jutsu.

Kat arrived after Naomi, which was to be expected as she still had an errand or two to run for her squad leader, and scanned the academy as she moved through, avoiding becoming fried or burned or crushed or sliced along the way. When she did find the girl she seemed to be finishing some last minute training. Good for her. Katherine wished there was more she could do at this point in time, but she was at her limit. Hopefully that would be enough for what they were going for here, not that Katherine was worried. She approached the girl and set down the first aid kits on the table. "One of our teammates is off to the exams, I think, and I can't find Ophelia, so I suppose we wait for Yasuhiro-taicho. I also grabbed communicators, at his behest though it would appear we don't need all five anymore..." she remarked offloading all of the communicators and doing the quick work setting them all to the same channel. She adjusted the volume of one and affixed it to her ear. She tapped another one and winced, corresponding eye twitching. Volume was waaaaay too high. Quick fix. She pulled down the fabric over the bottom of her face, running her tongue over dark lips and leaning against the table where the supplies lie in wait. "I think those are standard field kits, but I wouldn't know what the difference is. I only know how to put a bone back in place from... accidents involving Oga..." she trailed off smirking at the memory of a Judo flip going horribly awry. Purposely.

"I see... a smaller number is probably for the best. We'll attract less attention." Following the other girl's lead, she picked up one of the communicators and put it on. Unlike Kat's, it seemed as if this one was fine. Eyeing the kit's, the senju girl walked over and opened one before beginning to rifle through the contents. Some of it seemed like it might be useful, but in a lot of ways it helped to make her understand the need for iryojutsu. beyond the sanitizing agents and the adhesives much of the rest of it was useless to her. She had no medicine to apply with the needles, and maybe the scalpels would could come in handy but she wasn't sure. "Yeah... they seem like a standard enough kit though I'm not sure I can make use of everything in it."

Following along the track that he was already going in terms of puppet arts, Zin moved on to a technique that -- though didn't have the same level of devastation as the first few techniques held -- it would give him an edge once he begins to have more than the simple puppet that he was currently working on. One, being the ability to summon more than just one puppet. In fact, summoning three. Of course this was even beyond his level, but over the course of him training in the Academy with his private instructors, being able to manipulate more than one puppet at a time, with one hand, would hold an exceptional benefit. Particularly when he trained himself to create hand-seals with the free hand. This one, was no different, and as he went over the technique with one hand, it began to get comfortable enough with the pattern that he didn't need worry about putting it into implementation; particularly since the only puppet that he had was already summoned...

Thinking about taking a break from working on his puppetry, Zin decided to move on towards completing his studies in the arts of Genjutsu. One in particularly, being a rather trivial technique for most to learn, but it's usage could be helpful in certain situations. One of which could be if he is trying to deter a group or trailing opponents from reaching their right destinations; or even better, to have what he writes be mistaken as something else when they are made for eyes that are not meant for them.

Gazing over the scroll for the jutsu, the technique seemed to be as simple as utilizing the chakra to spread over the document or the intended place of illusion. Placing the very scroll over him, Zin would form a seal and project his chakra towards the scroll to change the definition and hand-seals. If not to.... make things a little bit difficult for the next one to look at the scroll. Giving a mischievous little smirk once he completed it, Zin rolled the scroll back up and placed it into the pile of those that he already learned.

Feeling himself getting back to puppetry as he started to feel the weight of the previous knowledge telling him that he was starting to hit a limit, Zin remembered one stroll that he picked up and felt held the technique that would be pinnacle in saving him some money. The Shiirete Siru technique. It seemed to act something like a perfected Kage Bushin technique that he's heard about and seen other "Masked Men" utilize. Unsummoning his basic puppet, he began to focus on it a little and creating the seal as he spoke, "Shiirete Siru~" He hissed before summoning the puppet back and finding that all of the more basic weapons, were placed into the puppet ready for firing and retrieval.

    ======================
As Zin was already on the track of gaining the apex of master of puppetry at his current level, he would pick up a scroll and begin to start working on a rather defensive technique. Shushin no Jutsu. Wherein the Kugujutsu user controls the puppet and switches spots with them during tight times, to switch spots with it; having it take the damage rather than himself. Outstretching his pale fingers, Zin had his chakra strings activate the puppet before starting to focus on the puppet. One, in positioning himself where the puppet was, and two, by putting the puppet where he was. When he begin to put himself in such a position of thought, Zin would mentally speak Kugujutsu: Shushin no Jutsu! It would be there that his position would be switched and Zin would appear where the puppet was and vice-versa for it. But, considering the amount of chakra and focus it required, he noted that the technique couldn't be utilized freely. It would definitely require some focus, which in turn, meant it would need to be utilized sparingly.

Zin stretched himself out, oversized sleeves looping off to the size lazily as he looked wearily to Nagi, "Almost finish and then we and return home. Might go back to lion-lady with the gummis for stuff to do later." Zin said as the serpent would hiss to Zin in confirmation before Zin took his focus back on the jutsu at hand that he felt like he was getting close to start mastering. Picking up another scroll that had suiton techniques, he'd look over the jutsu and see it's usage when putting it into comparison with his puppets, Nagi, and his own ranged jutsu. Though the technique wasn't particularly strong, it would be enough for him to put his opponent in an uncomfortable enough position that may leave them open.

Spotting some ducks paddling idly in he water, Zin would look to Nagi and giggle softly, "Still hungry?" The child questioned to the Bao, which would be rather rhetorical for such a big snake not to be after simply eating on fish. Taking one last glance at the technique's jutsu, Zin would weave through the hand-seals and hiss, "Isonagi no Jutsu~" With that, before the bird could move and flap it's flailing wings to the feeling of the water being rapidly disturbed, would find a waterized claw extending from the small pond and clamping down on the creatures neck as Nagi lifted up it's large head to the captured flesh and slithered after eagerly to it's next kill.
    1/1 Isonagi no Jutsu
    ============================================
Last technique that Zin felt he could learn -- or at the very least remember -- was Doku Kiri Jigoku • Baribari Hyaku Renpatsu, in terms of Kugujutsu. Feeling like he'd want to learn a technique that would be equally as aggressive was his other techniques as he was gaining more and more mastery over the jutsu's, Zin would look over the last scroll that he picked and decided to put more modifications to his puppet. This one, seemed to entail that at last one release a poisonous gas while within that poison gas, the secondary puppet would take advantage of the opponent's confusion or limited sight to turn their bodies into something of porcupines.

That didn't seem too difficult. Particularly when he already had one puppet to release poison or a fog. It would mean that for the training dummy puppet, would need to be equipped with a feeder and senbon that he could equally poison. Though for now, he placed in the chest cavity where there was room, a smaller feeder of senbon to align the puppet's chest, though with the feeder enclosed so that he may have the poison be doused in poison while it waits to be fired.
1/1 Doku Kiri Jigoku • Baribari Hyaku Renpatsu
    =========
In completion of his last jutsu before Zin would have to start through the arduous task of working on Taijutsu, he decided to work on something that would be a hindrance to anyone who is not of the Mist. He remembered the masked people being rather... vocal about their combat with other nations. In, was a village that was surrounded in mist. Zin actually would even go further to recall in the private lessons that some village's utilized chakra saturated techniques to mimic they lived in; making those that didn't live in such environs be at a disadvantage. Even if he wasn't going to learn the technique, if at the very least he could learn how it was done, he may be able to keep them from retaining an advantage.
    1/3

Considering that this was an ocular technique, he would focus chakra to travel into his eyes and have it act like some of the infamous dojutsu's of Konoha. To be able to pierce through the veil of their Suiton saturated chakra, like it was nothing more than an obvious Genjutsu. Having them, essentially, waste chakra in an attempt to blind him, while himself and Nagi, along with his puppets, make aim to hit the opponent in a trifecta of damage and opponents to dodge.
    2/3

Coming to the conclusion, the technique didn't seem to hold that much difficulty. It was simply ensuring that his piercing gaze held the capability to accurately pierce through the veil of the mist and see the opponent for that they tried to cloak themselves in. Standing up slowly and gathering the bundles of scrolls, Zin would head back into the Academy to return the scrolls into the library and begin to head back towards Nagi who was waiting and happily fed. Giving his companion a pet on the head with his clothed hand, Zin hissed for them to head to the dojo, where he hoped to complete his training.

Clone-Chi Meditation Training x2, Senju Techs, Performance Training x2
The second Mokuton clone of Raichi made his way towards the Academy and waddled out the back over to his little shack thing. Plopping his bottom upon the ground, the clone began making hand seals, controlling the motion of his chakra. His hand seals had significantly increased from when he was just a student, Raichi that is. His motions more fluid, much quicker than they used to be. He began to add more difficulty to this training exercise, executing various forms of elaborate hand seals at a much faster pace. The wind blew calmly through his hair and face, as he sighed. He closed his eyes, relaxing his body, focusing on the movement of his chakra. His ears attentive to the environment around him, hearing the gentle flow of the water behind him, and the rest of nature's wonderful sounds of magnificence. Continuing his hand sealing, he could feel his chakra rile up, as if it would burst from his body. He quickly lowered it, as it felt like a calm flame within his soul. His mother and siblings popped in his head causing him to give a weak frown, as he began to think of unpleasant things. He shook his head, getting rid of the image and thoughts, concentrating on the wonderful sounds of nature. His breathing was more controlled, and rhythmical, his chest heaving slightly from his body. He increased the speed on his hand seals, his hands almost moving at a blur, as he recited the hand seal names in his head.

His chakra rose and fell within him, he could feel the steady control effect he was having on his chakra. With that, he stood, as his hand sealing ceased. He walked away from the building to a nearby tree. He climbed up the tree, his feet padded upon its rough tree bark. Stepping onto the underside of a branch extended from the tree, he now stood upside down like a bat as he closed his eyes. Much more chakra would need to be applied, not only to stay on the branch, but to maintain his weight. He placed his hands together, creating more hand seals, his hands blurring before him, practically invisible to those from a fair distance. Feeling his chakra move within him again, he practiced controlling the speed, feeling its pace increased and decrease from time to time. He bent his legs slowly, until his rear sat upon the branch, his legs were folded as he continued to breath calmly. He focused, until his hand seals slowed down, then finally stopping. He opened his eyes and looked around him before letting go of the control of the chakra on his underside that was holding him onto the branch. As he pummeled towards the earth he would extend his body and flip once before his feet touched the ground gracefully, his legs buckling slightly for a softer landing.

What better thing to follow up meditating with than more training. Yay. Clone-Chi was already aware of what he wished to learn, courtesy of his original. They were all incredibly powerful jutsu that required quite a large amount of chakra to perform, but he knew it wouldn't be an issue for his creator, or for him since he was gifted a substancial amount upon creation. Also, it didn't hurt almost all Senju have more chakra as civilians than some Shinobi do as Chuunin. Laughing quietly to itself Clone-Chi set out to work, racking it's brain for the first technique it could remember. It was called the Jukai Kōtan; also known as Nativity of a Sea of Trees, a very powerful technique that involved creating tens of trees from scratch, though the user can also control it enough to only create one or two trees. Either way it was a dangerous technique that could be used to bind or simply disorient the opponent by blinding them with trees or even hitting them with the trees if timed correctly. Forcing a large amount of chakra into it's hands the clone began to form the required handseals, blurring through them with a speed normal shinobi didn't have, maybe. When it finished dozens of trees exploded from the earth before it, rising high into the air; easily towering over those surrounding it. "Useful..."
Mokuton: Jukai Kōtan [ Wood Release: Nativity of a Sea of Trees ]
    Rank A - Learned

With the first technique learned it moved on to the second, easily remembering it as a technique that could rebuild entire villages if given enough time. It involved the same basic idea of the Shichūka no Jutsu; the Four-Pillar House Technique, except on a much grander scale. Able to create five, six, maybe even seven houses at once by exerting a large amount of chakra all at once. Nodding to itself the clone blurred through a large set of handseals before slamming it's hand against the earth below it, palm facing downwards. Forcing it's chakra throughout the earth it watched as four large houses, furnished with windows and paint emerged from the dirt, towering high over the trees. They would have no real use, so Clone-Chi simply returned them to raw materials and sent them back from whence they came.
Mokuton: Renchūka no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Serial Pillar Houses Technique ]
    Rank A - Learned

Moving on to the third technique he would be learning the clone grimaced at the thought. The previous version of this technique was a disturbing enough thing to learn, transforming his body on molecular level into a tree, except this one was on a much grander scale. It was a thought he didn't want to have, but he knew it would help should he ever have to restrain anyone on a mission. With that in mind the clone reviewed what it could remember about the previous technique, how the user channeled the chakra in a way that it slowly changed the arm into a large amount of branches made entirely out of wood. However with the larger version of the technique it involved transforming the arms into a large mass of tendrils made purely out of wood. They could then be used to wrap the enemies with, binding them in place; or potentially even binding a large group of people with, something that would be quite useful should a war ever break out that involved Konoha. Channeling chakra into it's arms the clone watched with sick satisfaction as flesh turned to wood, forming large tendrils of wood that seemed to move with a single mental command. Shivering at the feeling the clone let the technique end, watching as it's arms returned back to normal after it did so. "Gross.."

The fourth technique on it's list was one called Shichuurou no Jutsu, or Four Pillar Prison Technique. It was an incredibly useful technique that involved making a large cage entirely out of wood that was capable of detaining a large amount of people at once. It could then be used by shifting the wood it was composed of into tendrils or shackles to put on the prisoner, or prisoners within to keep them in place so they wouldn't attempt to escape. Blurring through a small set of hand seals the clone slammed it's hand on the ground, watching as wood shot from the ground before slowly linking together to create a large cage, easily capable of containing twenty or thirty people at any given time. Nodding to itself the clone dispelled the technique, watching as the wood returned to the earth that it came from swiftly.

The fifth technique the clone was tasked with learning was one called the Mokujōheki, or the Wood Locking Wall. Unlike the previous two techniques used to capture a target or restrain them for transport, the Mokujōheki was a large scale defensive technique that involved using the roots beneath the target to form a large wall in front of them, forming around and above them so as to protect them from nearly all sides. Though the back of the wall was open, that could also be closed up to create a full dome of wood, that can then be collapsed or used as a fuel to burn, which would by extension burn the person inside of the dome. It was an incredibly useful technique, especially if the enemy wasn't a Katon user that could burn through the wood quite easily, but then again Raichi wasn't weak to Katon like most Senju so that didn't really matter. With that in mind the clone blurred through the required handseals, slamming it's hands palm down against the earth below it. Forcing his chakra throughout the roots underneath the ground it watched with a slightly awed face as the wood seemed to explode from the earth, interlocking in front of him to form a solid semi-oval shape above it, protecting it from any technique that could be aimed at it from the protected side. Letting the technique dispel the clone couldn't help but let out a slight laugh of astonishment. "Amazing..."

The final technique his creator wanted him to learn was one called the Tajū Mokuton Bunshin no Jutsu, or Multiple Wood Release Clone Technique, a technique that involved creating the normal Moku Bunshin but in an incredibly vast amount. Easily able to make one-hundred clones if enough chakra was used while the Jutsu was being cast. With that in mind the clone nodded to itself, forming the handseal required before channeling it's chakra throughout the nature and vegetation around it. Instantly a vague large number of clones rose from the ground, surrounding the initial clone slowly. Smiling to itself the clone dispelled the others, satisfied with the success of the technique.

(I'm starting to get bored af doing these lmao..) Clone-Chi would perform the required handseals and send his chakra through the ground and over to the little shack-house that his creator had created previously. From the roof of the structure would spring forth a large serpentine figure with a slinder body donned with a short trunk-like nose. This summoned creature would closely resemble a Chinese dragon. The dragon would rise to the sky in a coiling motion before reaching it's desired height, stopping and turning to look down at the one who created it. Please bear in mind this isn't actually a summoned creature, Clone-Chi is just having fun with it. The dragon would make a mad dash for the ground nearby and upon contact dirt and debris would go flying into the air, and once the dust settled a desired result presented itself to the clone of Raichi.

This next technique was super easy to do, creation wise, but the desired purpose of the technique would be hard to achieve, especially without something proper to test it with. However, Clone-Chi could only do his best and hope it worked out for Raichi in the end. Forming a clone with a small amount of chakra, Clone-Chi had it take a seat and took one himself opposite of it. Barrowing a brush and ink well that Raichi had previously left behind, the copy would begin to write something on his hand. When he was done, it was revealed that he had written "sit" or "座" on his hand. Next, he summoned forth ten small pillars around them. Placing his hand on the head of the freshly summoned clone, he would begin to concentrate. Slowly but surely he managed to get to the state of where he could supress the chakra within the pillared area quickly and efficently, and every attempt made was done so with the new clone trying to use a technique to confirm that it indeed was working.

Basic Training: Performance x2, Basic Training: Meditate x2, Learn a Jutsu! x3, Technique Learning.

Hiro had finally found the time to isolate himself away from the others, to begin his proper training. A karambit in hand he spun it by the circle well he thought about where he'd begin and just how long he'd end up staying. With a whir of chakra the blade started to hum well he planned out how long it might take, the gradual spin increasing little by little. Finally he caught the handle, as the blade buzzed white chakra and electricity. [1]

He knew some of the basics about his clans and already knew the first few would be less then a breeze. Now that he had the first step to his weapon he focused it a bit more as he picked out a target. Carefully he raised his weapon and brought his chakra to the blades edge. With a quick sweep he sent off a blast of energy, similar to that of an explosive seal. [2]

The next one would be a tad more tricky but not by to to much. He had the basic blade being buffed, his electric chakra running along the outside. Now however he needed to change the shape of the chakra. He needed to be able to extend the blade outwards and make it larger then it normally was.

Carefully he watched how the electricity moved and flowed across the weapon. Hand seals weren't required for something as simple as this, instead it had to be something that was more akin to chakra control. Similar to how ninja were able to walk on trees or water due to proper control he focused his mind to where his chakra was currently flowing around the blade. Not to long after he felt the shift and was able to push the boundaries as he watched it grow in size. [3]

Now came the REAL fun ones. The first involved a specialty clone technique, much to Hiro's dismays. Clones were never a favorite of his for whatever reason. Pretty often he was the type of shinobi who didn't like the use of genjutsus, illusions, etc, he often found them really boring but had to bite the bullet on this one. At the very least it involved the transfer of a technique INTO a clone which would be handy in some event.

He sat down, err rather crouched down, and pulled out his rough note book from his satchel. In it he thumbed through the pages lazily until he neared his destination. His finger tapped the paper impatiently. Due to his distaste of clones he was a little rusty in the subject, and anything he was rusty in he always tried to keep notes about. Women were a separate section in this book of course.

It made a bit more sense now that he looked into it a bit further, kinda. He shut his notebook and placed it back in his back before standing up with a stretch. His knife had been deactivated, of course, but now it hummed back to life with energy. Unlike other clones this one had to COME from both his blade as well as have an attack in mind that would transfer into it.

Of course it didn't come first try. In fact Hiro had to spent a good long while sending out failed clone after failed clone before it even begun to get close to what he was looking for. Eventually, through repetition, he managed to get it SOMEWHAT stable. The attack stuck and the clone could use it he just needed to make sure he practiced it more often. [4]

Now he was on to the fun stuff. He knew his body wasn't fully ready for the clans final techniques but there was one more that he could get away with without entirely messing himself up. The One Thousand Birds Cut, one that was used in tandem with the first technique he had learnt. It wasn't as simple as cutting as fast as he could of course, there had to be a bit of science and deliberation involved.

The young Hatake sat cross legged with a somewhat visible frown peaking from behind his face mask. In front of him he had his note book out again along with his crayon, a mess of scribbles assaulting his vision. Whenever he was stuck on something he had a tendency to try to draw it out or go over his past scribilings for some sort of inspiration. This was a similar issue that lead him back to his comfortable rut.

There was some leads but most of them just lead to dead ends. He hadn't the chance to train with his dagger properly, all things considered he wasn't much of a melee specialist. For now at least. Most of his family members always did enjoy flashing off their fancy energy blades.

That was it! Just as there was a technique for firing off blasts of energy from his weapons this technique followed a similar principle. He had more running through his mind as he stood up and brought fourth his knife but in no time his practice began to yield results. By the end of it he could properly replicate what he had been seen and told, to a TEE. [5]

    (Lightning Release: Tanto Blade) C

    (One Thousand Birds Cut) B

With his bloodline techniques out of the way for the time being it was time for the next chunk of it. First he'd be starting with the lightning techniques, which first and foremost meant he wanted to learn some protection. All lightning techniques caused an electrical shock and he needed to train to resist that. Luckily with his being a Hatake and all it didn't take long to figure out the trick. [6]

Now that he had that little basic out of the way he had to learn the bigger ones first. Hiro always did appreciate a challenge so the more complicated techniques attracted his attention. The first of the few he had in mind was a minor form of armor. Nothing to terribly fancy but enough to leave nasty shocks to his opponents that would come into contact with him.

For application he pondered on the uses and various scenarios. Opening up his mind to how something could be used easily lead to how it would interact and eventually broke down how it would function. Of course he could always go to his notes if he was stuck but this time around it felt highly unnecessary. Instead he stood up firmly and started to charge his body with pulses of electricity.

It wasn't easy at first to keep the charge going. With the proper hand seals and focus it managed to stay a little bit but this one in particular he had to practice much longer then the others for it to stick. Likely this was due to the fact that at this stage he had been used to THROWING lightning rather then keeping it. [7]

That one out of the way he thought he break it up with a bit of fun. It was known as the lightning Kunai attack, which was really less kunai and really just hyper concentrated electricity thrown. Now THAT was something he could really sink his teeth into. Already Hiro's mind went to work deliberating around the technique.

One of the things that might have proven difficult about this technique, ironically, wouldn't be for himself. Shaping the lightning into the shape of the kunai was an extremely important step. Without it your opponent would easily be able to interpret as a high level threat when the goal of all of this was to trick someone into thinking otherwise. However, he was a hatake.

Hatake seemed to have a knack when it came to controlling electricity. It's shape, color, even just using it it would become bolstered in their hands. As long as their minds kept clear that was. His hands glowed to life as the kunais slowly took shape in a fierce electric haze before he threw them into and through the nearest set of trees. [8]

A bit more defense was on the list for what came next. Pretty much wasn't anything more then a big pulse charge of lightning beneath ones feat from what he had read. The REAL trick was being able to pull it off without exploding himself into a million pieces.

For this one he'd relook at his old notes. Specifically the ones relating to a certain bloodline technique that gathered electricity in slash marks before releasing blasts of energy. Being able to gather that energy after all was an important part of this technique so he wouldn't ignore the opportunity.

Notes fresh in his mind he went to work with his training process. Mainly he kept low to the ground with both hands onto it concentrating energy. Occasionally he'd pull his hands up, bringing the energy upwards but never fully releasing. Finally he could get the flow of it and was able to nail down the techniques. [9]

Now he had another fun one that was stepping up to the plate. The lightning ball. Everytime he thought about that technique he always thought of the rasengan....but this was far from that. A lot less cool in his opinion.

Much like the kunai the lightning ball was at its basis just that. A ball of lightning. Concentrated electricity that he could control and throw around. It definitely packed one hell of a harder punch and was much faster so he needed more precise control. This time around he'd put all of his practice towards just that, precision.

Little flicks of lightning were guided together into small orbs at first, no more then the size of a marble. With this marble he practiced on targets until he was able to control it fluidly. Only then did he begin to work his way up in size. By the end he could roughly shape it larger or smaller to his liking as well as use it as an actual attack, just perfect. [10]

The clone would be next and wouldn't take very long. From already knowing his clan ability a simple form of it would just be watered down. With a bit of practice the lightning clone was just that and was easy to pull off almost on reflex. [11]

As it turned out the majority of these would be a sinch to learn due to the way he had learned things. Practicing with his lightning clone he had a new goal which was to get it to explode. A bit of overloading here and there and BANG. Much like a fire cracker he was able to set it off with little issue. [12]

With this he'd go back to a bit of defense with the cloud shield. Really it was just practicing condensing the air close to him with electricity. This eventually formed a rough barrier that he could bolster or unbolster to his liking. [13]

Hiro had a bit more training to do. Realistically it wasn't to much, he didn't have a lot of interest in none bloodline techniques that wouldn't help him fight close range. This meant he had only one currently that he was interested in. Flicker step, a move that was pretty standard for shinobi.

The gap closing technique wasn't to hard to train in reality. He kept to focusing on his chakra control as he practiced it and payed very close attention to the books he had on hand. It almost seemed to follow a similar line to the other academy techniques.

Knowledge in hand he could move on to the next step which was physically going to do it. In an open area he simply picked four different spots, including the one he was standing on, and went to work. At first it was a tad annoying trying to get it to work but practice made perfect. By the end he could do it much more efficiently. (Flicker Step Learnt)

From his rough estimates it felt as though he had a few more left in him. He knew he had to cover genjutsu eventually.....eventually that was. There was no major push for him if he was honest. However he did enjoy animals, which is where he'd go off to next.

Crows always did interest him. The black little birds had such a startling intelligence at times that he could never get enough of watching them in his free time when he was lazing about. To follow after those there was a technique that could actually turn a clone into a bundle of crows. Well it wouldn't be much more then a clone that explodes into a distraction he could couple it later down the line.

Unlike his elemental transformations this one would be a physical one, but not very difficult. With the factor of him already knowing the electric clones it brought the crows as easy. He just nearly needed to shape what was underneath the clones skin and pop, easy transfer. (Learnt Crow Clone)

Now would come the compliment. To turn a few flock of crows into a storm of crows that would dizzy and confuse the opponent. Which to be fair, was one of the nicest things a clone could do to someone.

Working with his already now crow clone he focused less on making new crows from the air and more with the ones that were already in use. With concentration he waited until he popped his clone and would expand the numbers of crows along the same moment. A small cloud became a storm of fluttering black wings.

However he still needed to practice it without the clone at all. This time he focused to the surrounding area that wasn't as easily visible. This made the crows seemingly come from the trees and surround him on all sides here and there before he'd finally calm the storm. (Learnt Scattering One Thousand Crows Technique)

After all of this was said and done he stretched his back a bit with a weary sigh. It'd be time to rest up before he went to work mulling over missions. Ah well, there was worst things he could be forced to do.

20 Racks On Table Carved From Ebony.

    Chet
    Reminder

She said she would pray for me...

Chet thought it would be nice to practice some oni techniques after a while. He'd been relying way too much on tiajutsu and neglecting his own bloodline. Making the hand seal with only one hand the sake in his bong would disperse and create an intoxicating mist around him. This would both obscure the area and intoxicate those inhaling the screen of sake. He cleared it after he was done.

    [Sake Mist Technique]

Chet would then proceed to create his little midget clones. They weren't really called that, but they looked hilarious to him and made him wonder why in God's name his clan had small midget clones as a technique. He made them out of sake and they all just kind of looked at him funny. He frowned at their ugliness. "Get the ******** out of here." He cursed before they ran out the door with their little legs.

[Sake Soeki no Jutsu [ Sake Pest Technique]

He pulled one of them back before it could get away and placed a strand of his hair on it. "Now go my child." He told the clone with a dramatic voice. "Go be with your people!" The clone looked at him with an odd expression and booked it. The moment it caught up to the others clones Chet snapped his fingers causing it to explode and destroy the other two in the process. "Hehhehehehehe." Chet laughed sadistically.

Chet was so happy by the fact that he killed one of his clones with a strand of hair that he was like hey! I'm gonna do it again. So that's what he did. He plucked another strand of hair from his head. He made some more midget clones and put strands of hair on all of them. And then proceeded to make them all blow up albeit a little too close to himself making him fly towards the wall. Now he learned about the range of the explosion. Wow.

    [Sake-splosion]

Suddenly a talk show scenerio appeared where the host was no one other than Chet himself. "Gooooooood morning ladies and gentlmen my name is Chet Oni and today I am going to show you all the Chet turnt-O-Meter!" Camera pans towards a bar gauge on a wall. It was currently displaying 50%. "Right now it looks like ya boy is at 50%! Not too turnt is he? Now let's change that lil bit!" Chet drank a cup of vodka someone with with a mic and note pad rushed towards him. He drank it like it was water. He threw the cup violently on the ground and made a loud sound of satisfaction with him mouth. "That's the good stuff!" Chet shouted as the camera panned over towards the bar again. The bar now displaying 55% instead of 50. "If I can get that bad boy up to 100% we are in for a mother ******** party!" The delusion would end and Chet would find himself in the female bathroom talking to himself in front of a mirror. The women stabbing him with kunai.

    [5 Gates Of Turnt]

Chet would create 12 orbs around his body made out of sake. A zombie approached him with the same lazy wobble of the undead. Chet grinned taking a fighting stance while the orbs floated around him. Each punch he threw was followed by an orb to continuously throw the zombie off balance. One landed on it's eyes, but it was in fact a zombie so nothing really happened. Once chet was finally done playing with the thing he launched all at once to knock it down.

    [Sake Seeking Orbs]

Chet started thinking about his fighting style and how at times it seemed he let out alcohol when he got really into a fight. Like that time his sparring mate got drunk somehow even though the boy was sober. Chet laughed like crazy that day. His parents almost disowned the poor boy for being drunk. No one knew that it was Chet who exuded intoxicating chakra.

It was not only his presence that made people around him drunk, but his techniques and chakra also injected the alcohol into his enemies. Almost like some sort of ******** up hyuuga style. Punch after punch the enemy becomes less and less stable to the point where they begin to see double and wobble. Chet grinned as he thought about this. He was indeed an odd Oni.

[Contact high || It's Gonna Be A Lit Party]

Chet drank some sake and swished it in his mouth a couple of times. He was going to test out another odd, Oni clan technique on a zombie that by all accounts did not exist. As a matter of fact there was someone in the academy just watching him with a mix of fear and confusion. Another zombie would pop out of nowhere and attempt to kill Chet. Not exactly kill. Honestly they didn't even try to nite him anymore it was quite odd.

Chet would spit on the ground in front of the zombie. It would step into the goop that had shot out of Chet's mouth and find itself stuck and slowly hands would begin to come out of the goop grabbing at it's legs. First six and then increasing rapidly in numbers up to sixteen. Chet watched in glee as the stupid struggle to free itself and trying to bite the arms.

Chinsui Mosaku no Jutsu [ Drunk Groping Technique ]

Chet would now take the opportunity to use the stupid zombie as target practice for his Sake Tama no Jutsu. The Sake Bullet technique. He swished some sake around in his mouth a little bit and shot a couple at the zombie. Each bullet piercing it's undead body. "Heheheh" Chet giggled as he disfigured even more the thing's body.

Chet would continue to do this repeatedly. Finally he would find himself bored and sent a barrage at it's head. The imaginary zombie's body would fall forward, but remain standing due to the several hands grabbing him. Chet sent one more large one to completely obliterate it. With a sigh he looked over to notice a woman staring at him. "BOO!" He shouted before laughing.

    [ Sake Bullet Technique ]

Chet would now attempt a very dangerou technique of utmost importance that would require him to channel his chi, chakra, ki, funxei, bankai and the whole ******** nine yards to get right. It was going to be lit as a mother ********. He gathered chakra in his upper torso and kept it there. He needed to get a feel for the energy flowing inside of him in a specific area. Being drunk made it a little difficult.

Chet would then exhale spreading out the chakra throughout his body. He could feel the energy flowing through him spread evenly. "Sweet." He mumbled as his body slowly began to expand. "Oooooh here it comes!" He shouted. Then his size that was beginning to swell up returned to normal and he let out a long and mean fart. "********!" He shouted before creating a midget clone just to kick it in the balls.

Chet tried again except this time he took in a deep breath before sending his chakra to his torse. He concentrated intensly for about 5 minutes to make sure it worked. Once he thought he was ready he released again. The chakra flowing through his body like sake. He looked up and gave a sigh of pleasure. "Oooooh yeah." He said before the transformation happened.

Chet rapidly grew in size and the people who were watching him in fear were not given more of a reason to be afraid of the drunken idiot. Chet gave out a loud and primal roar. Some people ran out screaming. A couple of the people there whow were training didn't. They looked at Chet with scowls and approached him slowly. "Hey freak!" One shouted. "Cut it out!" Chet turned his head like a wild animal and grinned.

After she had eaten her food, she decided to do some more training for her techniques. She arrived at the training facility, walking outside to enjoy the fresh air. From the scrolls she had memorized, this technique would be next in the series.

Molding her chakra, Hanako summoned three flowers [Beautiful Flower Creation], placing them in her braided hair. She, then, produced a clone [kage bushin] to face her. She smiles softly, "You know what to do..." The clone nods and takes off.

She slowly removed one of the flowers from her braid and tossed them before her, quickly dispersing them before her, she molded them to create a barrier before her [Flower Shield:Learned]. She then scattered the petals, taking in their lovely scent, enhanced by the jutsu. She watched them float off into town with a smile, admiring the delicate sight before bringing her attention back to the clone that had just returned.

In the clone's grasp was a rabbit, quite perplexed and shaking with fright. Hanako withdrew another flower from her braid, carefully approaching the animal. Bringing forth her Kihakugan, her eyes turned a deeper shade of blue, with lighter hues swimming around like pools of the purest water. Approaching closer to the rabbit, she gently blew the petals infused with her chakra towards it. She began to project a calm demeanor upon the rabbit, letting her calm take over its fear. Slowly, the rabbit's stress and shaking stopped, leaving it calmly sitting in the arms of the clone. [The Art of Projecting the Soul: Learned]

Hanako approached, bringing the rabbit into her arms, petting the soft fur as she smiled. She dismissed the clone and merely sat there, caressing the calmed leporine's coat and looking up at the sky. The slight breeze felt nice as it gently brushed against her cheek. What a lovely day...
