Take set herself in a relaxed posture when the boy replaced away from her. She turned to follow his progress and smiled a bit sadisticly when the boy drew a knife. She followed the path of the blade with her fan, not falling into the feint by overcommiting, but neither did she drop her guard. It was tempting to let the boy impale her on the horns. She almost did even. However instead, she set herself and pushed her palm out toward the middle of his head. She tracked his incoming motion to try and keep her palm roughly centered on his scalp. Her hand released the fan once more and let it fly behind her on its wire of chakra while forming a single seal and holding it behind her. This had one arm extended palm out and the other extending with a seal held upside down in a rather beautiful stance similar to the jyuken of the hugs. But this was fundamentally different the moment the boys scalp reached her hand the connection would be made. A circuit connecting their bodies and her invading chakra circulating through their connection. A single word would be spoken. "Nemuri..."the word would reach the ears around them. Any observers would be ablebto clearly make out the word.

When he heard the word he was instantly internally screaming. He HATED genjutsu, with a bitter passion, so much so that he was always on edge about it. However he was quite outclassed it seemed, even with a kai he felt himself losing consciousness. His last hail mary was enough however, even if it was probably a bad idea. His kunai dripped with blood after it had buried itself into his side, the sharp pain cutting out the rest of the dulled senses.
However right now he didn't have many options that came to his mind. Instead he simply tried to knee the woman in the gut. Gas was running low.
Chet had gone to the academy to go pick up a scroll he had been thinking about for a while during his training in the Bear Forest. The monkeys all agreed the technique he had in mind was very useful and should be a part of his repertoire. His attention, however was called upon by a fight going on between his Hokage and another individual. This individual in question being an Oni. "Holy s**t..." He mumbled to himself as he watched things transpire from a distance. Chet was very aware of his Hokage's strength and by the look of things his cousin wasn't anywhere near her level. Still the way she beat the living hell out of the boy made him uneasy. Was he a new gennin? Had he committed some crime? Watching an Oni like himself being beat into submission in front of everyone irritated Chet without him even realizing it.
On impulse, Chet would jump into the fight without having any context to anything. He just couldn't watch the fight go on any longer. From the skis, Chet would land in between the two and take Sung's knee to the stomach. Without registering any sort of damage, Chet was 100% sure now that the fight was completely one sided. "You ********' nuts?" Chet asked suddenly realizing the kid was in a mask. It gave the boy a very demonic aura about him, but the fight killed it. Turning his head sideways without looking at his Hokage, Chet asked, "Isn't this a bit too much?" He asked surprisingly sober in his attitude.

Kya actually meandered back after a few days off from shinobi and police work, choosing instead to go and train rather than get back at it immediately. She was feeling a stark bit stronger lately, and she felt, wholeheartedly that she could do more now than she was used to. However, as she went for the genjutsu scrolls, something caught the eye of the storm of ill-repressed emotional chaos. Moody Blues spied the kage about to catch a knee from another horned boy in a mask. Instictively, her hand went to her nodachi and she started to approach. Just before impact, she observed, she was pleasantly surprised to see that Chet had decided to interfere out of the literal clear blue sky and take the knee. Initially she winced, wondering how painful that had to be, but instead he merely chastised. So the weak had ended up in the crosshairs of the strong. Kya immediately felt a bit of apprehension.
Did she dissent from Chet, urging the kage on to destryoing the child who had disrespected her? Did she agree that stepping on an ant wouldn't bring forth anything positive? Rather than move on either side Kya simply let her nodachi go and watched for the moment.

Kumiko sighed a little as Saya seemed to be feeling fine. She turned her attention to the mess when a girl came in. “Yeah…. Thanks…” Kumiko watched as the other girl that entered the room and used a jutsu to pick up the glass. Unfortunately, Kumiko didn’t know any justsu to pick up the glass. She just walked over to the cleaning closet, grabbed a broom and dust pan, and began to sweep up the remaining glass. She dumped the pan in the trash can and sighed.
“I’m really sorry about this,” Kumiko began as she picked up some of the pieces that didn’t make it to the trash can. “She’s just bored… She doesn’t like it when I’m training… She doesn’t like being ignored, or put aside…” As Kumiko spoke, she noticed one of the large glass fragments had sliced her hand. Just what she needed. Another cut. She sighed as she dropped the last of the glass in the trash can. She remembered a way to clean it without using soap and water. It was called Kiyomaru, or Cleanse. She didn’t know what was in the breakers and glass cups. It could have been anything. She concentrates her chakra in her hands. It’s not that hard for her considering that’s how she uses her family’s techniques. She uses her chakra to remove any contaminants on her hands and arms. The cut wasn’t serious, so she grabs another bandage and places it on her hands.
‘How am I going to become a great medical ninja if I keep hurting myself?’
Ivilice shrugged lightly. She looked at the boys condition. Beaten but not wanting to stop. Reminded her of herself. As far as she knew, other than dislocating his arm she hadnt exerted more force than the genin had at any given point In their bout. The knife wound was self inflicted. She didn't do that. "He challenged me . Foreign shinobo. Rogue at least. He's welcome to stay until he is well enough to make a case for citizenship or that arm is fixed up and stable. One or the other. "She hadnt backed away from Chet however.

Sung barely registered that he had hit someone else but his adrenaline was no longer going mental so he realized it after a few moments and jumped back a bit. The oni always knew how to recognize his own kind after all.

With his good arm, which let go of the kunai that was buried in him, he tossed his note book over to the kage. Inside was the location of where the Uhv was, how they treated the shinobi as basically slaves and prisoners, as well as a semi detailed map of the city with mark for any locations that might have been overly populated with uhv personal. The last pages detailed their shinobi registry but there weren't to many of those.
"I'm here because I want those assholes dead. Not everyone in the sound village is sided with them, but most of them don't have a choice. Now if you'll excuse me for half a second"
The young man sat down and took off his white mask, revealing his rather young face to Chet before he yanked out the kunai with a few loud choice words of swearing. Cutting off the sleeve of his shirt that was on his dislocated side he tied it tightly around his waist to slow down the bleeding, though all of this was rather crude.
"Chicks right though, I challenged her. From the looks of it I could challenge her a thousand more times and still have to train more, I love her already" he said with a toothy grin.
Chet listened to his Hokage in silence before looking back at the oni in front of himself. "This little s**t tried taking on Lord lady miss sir master Hokage? YOU GOT A DEATH WISH BOI?" He asked with his air of seriousness completely disappearing. "This ain't a chick either. This is the mother ******** Lord lady miss sir master Hokage and you give her some respect!" Chet raised an eyebrow when the boy revealed his face. Not much younger than himself, but death and battle aged you more than anything else. The boy was as fresh as a babies bottom. Swiftly, Chet's arm snatched the mask away from the boy (B rank Suiken formless). Putting it above his head, Chet examined it. "An Oni mask for an Oni haha I like it." That reminded Chet that he still had a mixtape to release under the alias Yung Oni. His friends from his old life were all waiting for him to come back any minute saying the whole ninja thing was a joke.

With the glass fragments cleared and disposed of, Yomi lingered by while Kumiko explained the situation, and how it came about. Candidly, Yomi couldn't relate to having a pet -- especially not a white fox. She understood, superficially, that pets required attention almost at all times -- almost like babies, but permanently. However, Yomi couldn't relate -- not really. She didn't walk away, though, and instead remained near the contrite girl, witnessing what seemed to be a cast of doubt wash over her face. Quirking a brow, this was seemed peculiar -- however, what was most peculiar about Kumiko to Yomi was her blanched eyes.
She was a Hyuuga.
"You're a Hyuuga," She suddenly mentioned, hopefully snapping Kumiko out of her reverie. "How is it like to be a Hyuuga? You have a special power, don't you? At least, that's what I've heard. I'm not entirely too sure what it can do, but I keep hearing it's amazing and valued." Her tone didn't betray her curiosity; she was simply speaking normally, much like she would speak to her own self.

Kumiko glanced at the girl. She was hesitant to answer her. Why would a random girl ask Kumiko about her abilities? Her grandmother had warned her that there would be people in this world that would try to take advantage of her because of her eyes. Some would even try to take them. Same for all the other clans that have eye abilities. She glanced at Saya, who seemed to be interested in the other girl. If Saya could trust her, Kumiko could trust her too, right? Although, Saya was still just a baby and she liked everyone…
“It’s called Byakugan,” Kumiko started as she sat down. “I’m able to see the chakra flow in a person. I can also see at great distances and sometimes through objects.” She rubbed the back of her head, the only spot she can’t see, but she wasn’t going to say that out loud. “We can also stop the chakra flow if our attacks hit.” She picked up Saya and held her to her chest. “Did we disturb your training? I’m really sorry. I'm Kumiko Hyuga. It's nice to meet you.”

Yomi's eyes were alight with wonder at the mention of the Byakugan not only being able to see the physical chakra flow of a person, but also able to stop it. Her brows quirked more in surprise, and she found this ability to be akin to her own sensing abilities. . . Although, of course, it was far from truly being similar. Yomi could sense chakra well -- she was always able to. But, for a select few to be capable of seeing chakra physically? This was definitely an amazing gift, and Yomi couldn't help but wish she had such an ability. Of course, she wouldn't deem it possible. No doubt that those born with this Byakugan were meant to have it, and no one else should have it if they weren't born with it.
At least, that's what she believed.
"I'm Yomigaeri Hua," She replied, her countenance now neutral. "Seeing and stopping chakra, huh. . .?" She prodded, pensive. "I guess I can relate to that. . . I can sense chakra pretty well. . . Your chakra is pretty nice, I suppose," She judged, furrowing her brow, almost seeming unsure. Her chakra sensing abilities weren't always exact -- perhaps because she never bothered to really fine-tune it. It was always just there, and that was about it.
"And you didn't. . . I mean, you-- Yeah, you did interrupt my training," She decided, tripping over her own words. "But, it happens. Animals do what they need to do. . . Especially when they're young, I guess," Yomi was knowledgeable in a plethora of things, but not as much about animals as she hoped. "So, you're trying to become a medical ninja, too? I think that's a great idea, especially if you can see the chakra flow of people. . ."

Taka snatched the book out of the air without stirring the pages. She unbound the book and poured over the pages, dismissing the data she already had and making a mental note to research that which she didnt have. She closed the book with a snap, then collected her dangling fan, slipping it into her obi. "I think that qualifies for free medical care, conscription into the konoha military under a probationary status and some medical attention. Do see to your arm. Chet, I expect you to find a place for him to crash. He is your kin after all." She said, turning on her heel and leaving the area to put the book with the rest of her intell on the uhv. The location at this point was pinpoint confirmed. Next, she would need to remove control of the minor villages from the uhv. She had heard some rogues were messing with their supply line so that was at least in her favor. Then there was the newly uncharitable forest surrounding the area. Couple of rogues to thank there too. Good people. She quite liked the freelance units in the area.

“My grandmother was a great medical ninja when she was younger,” Kumiko said as she turned to her scrolls. She has three left before she would start on the other techniques. “Although not many people even know she existed. She fell in love with a ninja from Hidden Moon. My mother was born from that union, but my mother couldn’t use Byakugan. They all lived there until my grandfather died. My grandma came home, but my mother stayed behind. When I was born, it was pretty evident that I could use it and was sent to live with my grandmother. I really don’t know my mother at all. She never comes to see me, nor does she even write to me.” There was a hint of sadness in the young girl’s voice. She never really spoke to anyone about her family. It didn’t seem to interest many people. “At any rate, being able to see the chakra flow does help a lot. It’s easier to see puncture wounds and such. I’m going to train Saya here to sniff out different kinds of poison and other substances that aren’t supposed to be in the body. One day, I’m going to be just like my grandmother.”
Kumiko patted Saya’s head a little. The white fox seemed to enjoy the contact. “What about you? Sensing chakra sounds pretty exciting. I’ve heard of people that can sense a person’s chakra from long distances.”

Yomi didn't expect the sudden life-story, but she wasn't even remotely annoyed by it. Yomi loved stories, especially fantastical stories -- but when others spoke of their past and their life, she didn't mind it, and was rather raveled into it. So, she remained there, expectant of every detail, and listening. She wasn't on the edge of her toes, but she was certainly paying very close attention.
And she couldn't help but relate to the girl; although, a walnut of jealousy began to well up within her. Such a person, with a great inherent skill and natural ability for healing, and with a pet that she can train to perform auxiliary tasks while she was busy with healing. . . Certainly, Kumiko would, not doubt, become a great medical kunoichi -- perhaps greater than Yomi's own mother. However, it all depended on how often she deemed to practice, and how well.
"That's a lot," Is all she could espouse. "I never met my dad," She began. "He died some time ago, but mom never really went into detail. She never speaks about him, so I never really cared to learn about him. . . I suppose it doesn't matter anyway. Mom says I'm a lot like him, though, which I don't understand how," Clearly, Yomi was a firm believer that one was the product of their own environment. But, she ceased her own exposition there.
"Being able to sense people at long distances. . . Yeah, I guess someday I might be able to do that. I've always been able to sense chakra, even differ it. . . But that's it. Nothing else really happens. You, though, have a lot going for you. Your eyes, your abilities, your history. . . Your. . . Fox." She trailed off, shrugging, unsure how else to continue. Looks like she was becoming uncomfortable, but it wasn't visibly so. In her mind, however, she felt like she just insulted someone, even though that wasn't the case -- although she certainly was giving in to her jealousy, which was slightly irrational. Her tone, however, did not betray jealousy or envy -- it was neutral, perhaps even lauding Kumiko's potential.
ᑃ Interesting. So interesting. Kya's eyes stayed on the pair, watching from a close enough proximity to hear chat go off a nut like he usually did. She always dug the delinquent in a way she didn't quite understand, and it wasn't for lack of trying. Still, as her eyes poured over Chet, her ears heard mention of the boy wanting someone dead. He wasn't from here, and he was coming here with some intel apparently. Kya couldn't see what her leader was reading but she did hear a cacophony of swears and the sound of tearing skin. The idiot tore a kunai from his body. Immediately Kya closed in. She made noise of course, but not a lot of it. She had a tremendously low presence until she decided to make waves. The girl, who had gone through a makeover, would come at him from the side and very pointedly sigh. It was to get attention. "You're making a mess of this, move your hands," she would warn only once before making the boy's last second dressings less crude so as to better prevent blood loss. She watched Ivi after the minute or two of work, almost oggling the woman as she gave her decree. Her face turned to Chet, almost expecting a hardline denial of his order to get his cousin some lodging. It wasn't until she left that the girl cracked a grin and crossed her arms below a considerable bust. "Well, when you're done babysitting, Chet, ill probably be at the dojo working on some new s**t. You're more than welcome to join me, or not to as the case may be." She didn't waste time turning on her heels to leave then, all but forgetting that she'd come here to work on nin and genjutsu at all. [Exit]
