A lightning clone of Konoha's little terror bounced its way into the building and up towards the office, damned if she was going to be stopped by anything. It'd been such a long time that she'd forgotten if there were any rules to begin with, and, well, Sumika never was one for rules. "YO!" She practically shouted as her head slid into view in the offices doorway completely parallel to the floor. "What's up cat lady?" Clearly she was referring to the Hokage, and the fact that she'd been enamored with the woman's companions when planning for a prior operation. Though, one couldn't exactly call the address formal, or in any way appropriate. She also seemed to care little about whether or not there were other people around, or at least not register that it was something she should be concerned about.

Following her graduation from the academy San had gone home to visit with her grandfather for a short while. It was nice to visit, the feeling of nostalgia could be pleasant sometimes. Heck she'd even stayed far longer than she should have but it was hard to say goodbye when you had no idea when you could get back there. However that place was not for her right now. It couldn't feed her young fire and the call to fight against the UHV was loud within her ears. Youthful enthusiasm at its most naive and energetic. Returning to Konoha had only served to add fuel to that fire of course. Coming to finally claim her headband and begin some real training was a thought running through her mind on loop. The time time grab destiny was now! Or at least that's how San felt at any rate. Only time would tell the true story.
As the curvaceous red head made her way through the office building there was a certain bounce to her step. Despite her taller height she was quick on her feet and energetic about her motions. Still they seemed almost restrained, like she was trying not to waste anything. Eventually she reached the Kage's office. Sadly there was a bit of a line. Her gold and silver eyes scanned the waiting area looking at the faces around her. There was a boy she'd seen before but he looked, somehow different. Something about his face left her with a real sour taste in her mouth. There was also a rather pretty girl with striking green eyes that was perhaps a little younger than San. That one was well put together and looked to be rather curious about the others in the area as well. It was then that she noticed that little ball of lightning Sumika causing trouble again. "Yo! Sumika come say hi to your big sis and leave the Hokage alone, gotta wait your turn runt!" Hands on her hips almost like she was angry, a big grin plastered San's face as she waited for the younger Sumika to come running.
Were Sumika a curious little cat, her ears might have twitched at the mention of her name. She wheeled around, hopping to a stop as she stuck a leg out awkwardly to stop her momentum again. A giant smile spread onto her face when she saw San, but exited just as quickly as she peered back into the office. The girl bounced a little with nervous energy as she shifted between considering the office and the arrival of one of her favorite people. Just when it seemed like she might actually explode, she shot off towards her friend as if fired from a canon. She ran full force into a hug, not even slowing down for a second. But it wasn't like she was going to knock San down. The woman had a full foot on her and probably another quarter of the little rascal's body weight just... hanging around for a lack of a better turn of phrase. This Sumika was also a clone, after all, and thus not burdened by the normal weight of metal sand the girl toted about. "You're back!" A mix of exertion and glee, the exclamation was undoubtedly the genuine, exuberant joy that those who knew Sumika would be more than familiar with.

Taka took a moment to center herself and return to a normal state. Just went to show how quick she could fire up when the right buttons were poked. Ayame Araki of the Raigyo Clan, Kunoichi of the Hidden Leaf Village. XXXAyame gave a short look at the one supposedly being called into the office, the canine, whom said the lady isn't usually like this. She gave it a bit of thought but pushed it aside, it didn't change the earlier fact of nervousness from all the muffled shoutin'. Instead she waited longer for when it was convenient for the Kage to call her in, leaning toward her left leg and arms slightly crossed with hands joined. She feigned a calm, stoic look for a bit longer when a loud 'yo' chirped out and rattled her nerves like nails down a chalkboard. Although she didn't show a change in posture, the shout made her wince for a second. She didn't like sudden, unexpected noises from people to say the least.
XXX Instead of just here then, it were two other shinobi, kunoichi like herself, that showed up minutes later after she was waiting. While she could hear their exchange, her gaze was down toward the floor yet still in the kage's general direction awaiting admittance. Not helping but listen, a few details of the other two could be picked up from the short conversation. They knew one another in some way, related or not, with a few other details - the one who chirped 'yo' sounded a bit less formal but a bundle of energy where the other she assumed really was like an older sister, mature and stern but loving.
XXX Her name was called, one coming from a voice she had heard going off earlier when the male left the office. The kage. Ayame had finally looked up and snapped from her thoughts and her borrowed calmness from earlier had since faded. Approaching the office with a quick deliberate pace, she wasted no time of the kage's as she entered the same room as she and the one called Kisuki was in. She deliberately avoided direct eye to eye contact with anyone as her eyes was still alive and well with its empathetic gaze while she collected the headband.
XXX The 'badge' of the training and years in the academy were in her hands then as Ayame weighed it lightly in one hand, admiring the item for a moment. To show her appreciation, Ayame closed her eyes and held the headband in both hands above her chest and bowed ever so slghtly. It was an act to show appreciation when no words were to be said and at the end of it she reopened her eyes, gaze drifting past the kage for a moment before she turned on her heel, facing away once again.
XXX "I will be out going over some of my training. I take my leave." She said, pausing for a moment before walking with a quickened pace out the door eyes forward and new headband fitted already over her right arm. Before she completely left, she looked back slightly to speak once more.
XXX "Please excuse my eagerness to leave. I just don't do well with groups."
XXX As she spoke that, Ayame took her full leave through the office, down the hall and right on out the building. /Exit (End Scene...!)

The way the younger girl bounced back and forth with her focus was rather amusing. Like watching a child trying to decide between petting a cat or going to get ice cream. However eventually big sis won out over the kage and Sumika came running into a hug. San caught her easily enough and was startled somewhat at the weight difference between her memories and the present. Still seeing an old friend was always nice. With a big hug the little one was squeezed tight and forced against the literal pillows San called her chest. "Of course? I like the shrine but there's so much potential for me to grow here. Speaking off..."
The three were ushered in by the hokage and it was finally time to get her own symbol of rank. With a long confident stride the Uzumaki woman would stroll up and grab one of the headbands. Affixing it to the jacket strap across her chest she smiled at the piece of metal and cloth. Before those mismatched eyes of hers looked towards Taka. A loud whistle escaped her lips as she eyed the woman, "I didn't expect the Hokage to be so damn enchanting." A s**t eating grin was smeared across her expression. Though inwardly San was actually highly embarrassed by just how naked the woman was. It was sexy as hell and more than San had ever seen of another woman. As such her bold extroverted personality served her as crutch in this case. "Guess I'll have to be real prompt about making reports in the future, cya 'round Sumika I gotta go do some physical training."
Sumika had always enjoyed San's particular softness, but had yet to find the instincts necessary to appreciate it - if indeed that was to be a thing she found one day. For now she just enjoyed the hug, giggled a bit at San's comments, and waved as she left. It seemed, however, that the Hokage wasn't really in the mood for much of a chat. "Catcha later cat lady." She said kinda dejectedly as the clone fizzled away a moment later.

Sumika waltzed back into the office as if her clone hadn't all but just disappeared, clearly feeling good after completing a few missions. Forget that she'd screwed up an investigation, and just barraged part of the forest around the old Senju Mansion into submission. "Hello Sumika-chan." The receptionist said as she approached. "What's up? Cat lady got any good mission lying around?" The reception laughed a little at the puppeteer's mannerisms. "Well, she's meeting with someone from Sunagakure right now, let me just che-" The poor clerk didn't have time to finish the thought as Sumika became a blur, flying towards the office.
She skidded to a stop in front of the door, and subsequently proceeded through it. No one had ever accused the girl of having manners, after all. "Where's the sandy dude, cat lady?"

Taka in the middle of looking over a set of papers froze dead still. She turned to look out the window, silent. Agony. Pure agony and fear coming from her entire village. She moved toward the window to see out, possibly to find the issue and saw the rolling tide of particles, too late to do a damn thing. The glass in her window exploded. She would take the brunt of the damage, about 3 feet from the window. Only minor shards would go past her. Her shinobi and the visiting suna non would be entirely safe.
Her body was flecked with glass, a hand over her eye. Her entire front was bleeding fairly heavily as she put a hand on the wall to steady herself. A lot of the glass began shifting out of her body moments later as the kyubi did his work. A long jagged shard making its way out of her chest, the 4 inch long end crimson in her blood. "The ******** just happened?" She asked in an steady voice as she stood back up, her front painted in red, her chest wraps stained unevenly

Sumika's sand instinctively shot up from the pockets of the comically-oversized flak jacket she'd been wearing since the previously planned UHV assault. Even as just a mass of metal it managed to deflect whatever leftover glass came flying her way. Wide-eyed she glanced over, only just now noticing the one called four. She'd stare at him momentarily before cautiously peaking around her makeshift barrier. What she was was the Hokage, dripping red with blood. Whatever calmness the woman displayed may as well have just directly transferred all of her other emotions to Sumika, who began nervously bouncing on the balls of her feet, shifting her weight in a different direction every second. "Ooo... uh... hmm... I... haaa... I'll get the medics!" She finally shouted after a moment of indecision, turning to sprint back through the door, only to stop and sprint right back in.
'Uhh..." She shook her hands in front of her as she looked for something on the Hokage's desk. Grabbing a scrap piece of paper and a pen she jotted down a note and whipped out a stack of ryo. A small amount of iron sand flowed away from the mass she'd nearly left without, fashioning itself into a clasp of sorts around both of the items. The girl placed it carefully on the edge of the desk. "Err... I'ma puppeteer and I can't leave the village and I need a better puppet so here's some money and what I want from Suna please help me get it!" She spoke at about a million miles per hour, a ball of nervous energy, but perhaps for the first time ever her handwriting was supremely legible.

No sooner had she set it down than was the little puppeteer a blur out of the door, off to try and help people in the village, and of course alert someone that the Hokage needed medical assistance.

Covered by a couch, the flecks of flying glass embedded themselves, while the small bits shredded the top and reddened the priest's hair. Pulled out of his prayer by the sudden streaks of blood going down his scalp, Four reacted with annoyance. "Windows don't ordinarily break like this," he sighed, as bits of glass popped out on to the ground. As he was recovering, a small girl peeked around a shield with a request. Accepting the letter, Four watched on as she bolted from the office, and then he glanced toward Taka. "Are you alright," he questioned, performing some handsigns to send the letter off to Suna. The little girl's request seemed to be rather urgent, and in no time flat, a large package poofed back in at the priest's feet.
Taka reached out with her newer sensory field. Her village makeup had changed. From normal everyday mixes of emotion to pure terror. On top of that the number of signals she was receiving was severely reduced. "My population just took a dive. Maybe 1 in 4 was killed by that. Another 2 in 4 injured. We will continue this conversation later four. I need to go deal with this." She said, all of her humor gone from her normal mood. With this, she stepped her foot onto the window sill and dropped to the street below, crunching the glass beneath her feet as she headed towards the gate. During her travel she noted that medical personnel had been deployed.

At chunnin, when the user gains their second animal conpanion, the user may choose another trait associated with this single companion. He was doing his best not to appear nervous, but today was in fact a very important day. He would be taking his first step into the greater world and working towards becoming a productive member of his home. He knew he needed to put in a lot of work to get there, but he was more than willing to put in the effort.

The shadow clone of Sanae looked around the office and grimaced at all the broken glass that crunched underneath her feet as she walked the halls. It was a complete and total ******** mess. Eventually she reached the main office and headed on inside to see what Taka was up to. However it seemed as if the alluring cat girl had flown the coup already. Instead all she found was a young man about her age barging in and asking for a head band. Since the Hokage was out well, this was her responsibility now apparently. With a sigh she plopped down onto Taka's chair and threw her boots up on the desk. A filling cabinet labeled "Academy" was yanked open and San's fingers flicked through the folders noisily.
"Arashi... Kagami?" she asked rhetorically since she'd heard the boy's name well enough. He had great scores in taijutsu though was perhaps lacking in elemental ninjutsu based on his lower grades in that area. Still he'd passed his classes and was approved for graduation. From her position behind the desk, the Sanae clone looked the young man over with its mismatched gold and silver eyes before yanking open another drawer. "The Hokage ain't in right now, but I'm her secretary kid. I work fast so heads up," she suddenly tossed a headband at his face. With his ability for taijutsu, Arashi could probably easily snatch it out of the air but if he missed it would more than likely smack him in the face. "As you can no doubt see things are kinda in the shitter right now." San was of course referring to the devastation of the recent glass and sand attack. "You should probably go clean up the dojo so you can train up and be useful." ""
