Axel Storn

C - Rank l Wanderer l Samurai l Failure
Chakra - 345/390 l Stamina - 300/375

"I am the sword in the Darkness...

Axel couldn’t bear to look at Wan, something about him seemed almost broken, and it wasn’t the arm, it was something more than that, something inside of him that let Axel know the extent of his failure. “You or him.” He said, him being Kaileer. “No one else in the village has won the right to do it.” The young Chunin, no, he wasn’t a Chunin anymore, he didn’t know what he was anymore; in reality, he never quite did. He gave the giant a bow and turned, only to be interrupted by Soraru’s words. How embarrassing, to have him see Axel in a time like this. He deserved no less though. It felt as if he was talking down to Axel in some way, he wished he could say that he did not have to stand for this sort of treatment, not by Soraru and not by anymore. For a brief moment, the same fire that had flashed his eyes when he spoke to Kaileer burned within his soul, but it was quickly put out by the voice of reason, or perhaps the voice of fear. Now wasn’t the time to fight. Now was the time to leave, with your head held high, as high as you could, not with pride, but with dignity. “ I have done no such thing. I have not broken Bushido, nor will I ever.” He responded plainly to Soraru, incapable of seeing the error of his ways, and it was there where his downfall began. He was not interested in the death of honor, but rather the continuation of his family’s honor, and the creation of his own. Perhaps this village was not the place where his honor rested after all; but it did not matter, at least not for now. “I hope our paths cross again Soraru. Keep an eye on Hakanai and Shukenja if you will for me, they don’t need protection, but I would feel better knowing they have someone watching their back.” Something about saying that felt so… final. The reality of never returning had begun to sink in, he had been training here shy of a year, and he had moved up the ranks considerably, which was welcoming, but at the same time, it all felt as if in vain.

Honō Hokori
[ "A supplement to all others, yet weak on its own." ]

So it was witnessed...
Honō entered the Kage Tower to see a flurry of activity. Still not used to going near the tower, he wasn't sure what the serious, and some panicked, faces meant. But no-one was directing him away - perhaps an important meeting? Honō truly had no idea, and his anxiety in having to report to the kage was also weighing heavily upon him, clouding his ability to read what was going on. "Oh!" Honō stepped off to the side quickly, having nearly run into Soraru as he was leaving, the door wide open behind him in his departure. "Apolo-ah!" Honō gasped, green eyes catching a flash of red behind Soraru, and finally seeing the source of such distress around the office. Standing behind Soraru was Advisor Wanryoku, his arm - "Urk!" Honō had to look away, green eyes wide and welling with tears at the gruesome sight - it was beyond description! Honō's felt his throat contrict and his stomach heave, bile touching the back of his palatte. Honō stumbled a few steps away, his mind plagued by flashes of the bone, muscles, sinew - a strangled noise escaped the Hari clan member once more, hand clamped tight over his mouth, the other holding his shaking frame upright against the side of the building. His entire body was shaking - physically vibrating at the glimpse he had witnessed. In a way, the glimpse was worse in that his mind was conjuring even worse images than it actually was - but what could have occured to cause that...

Gods above...! Honō couldn't speak in fear of loosing his stomach on the kage tower's wall. He gagged, but wouldn't dare humiliate his family in actually performing the deed - but he was far too close in doing so for his liking...

Aspects
Strengths :
• Evironmental Lens:
Is able to accurately estimate the weaknesses and viable exploits in the
surrounding environment. Be it the stabilising pebble at the base of the wall,
or the angle needed to fell a tree where needed.

• Soldering Teammate:
Honō will support his teammates by means of supplying weapons, tripping
up the opponent, or manipulating the environment to his allies' advantage.
Honō will watch his teammate(s) to get familiar with their tells, thus
becoming more and more accurate in reading their intentions.

• Sleek Steps:
Due to his training in the Hari clan, Honō has no difficulty traversing slippery
surfaces, even over uneven terrain.

• Latticino Hands
Honō's work has gained him steady hands and the ability to perform minute,
detailed work. Finicky work, such as the setting up even the most intricate
traps, holds less trouble for him.

Weaknesses :
• Cracks:
Honō was never trained for proper combat, and as such has a tendency to
flee instead of fight, especially when out numbered. When hit with an attack,
his urge to flee only increases.

• Jewelled:
Honō's choice in clothing marks him out from other shinobi; restricting his
movements slightly and hindering most chances at stealth.

• Fragility:
Trained in his work instead of his responsibilities as a shinobi, Honō lacks
the strength most individuals garner from their everyday training.

Fears :
• Broken Shards:
Knowing he isn't the most skilled shinobi in the village, Honō fears his
teammates will leave him behind if he fails to meet their expectations.

• Shattered:
Honō was never the strongest, or masculine, individual in Kumo. He fears
this makes him a target of assault; verbal or physical. Whenever he leaves
the workshop he is constantly anxious and alert of his surroundings,
misreading the words and reactions of the people around him to negatively
apply to him.

Class Disciplines :
• Legendary Smith
The user is able to gain a 5th title rank from every applicable smithing tree. 'Training' for Legendary takes 10 posts of crafting work, provides an additional 1 post off of crafting times, and gives a Grandmaster NPC (of the same area) for usage. In addition, any item solo crafted (without an npc helper) is non-reproducible by non-Legendary titled smiths.

• Balanced Master
Any jutsu learned can be paid for with either chakra, stamina, or a mix of the two. Any further chakra types are also subject to this. Recovery amounts for chakra and stamina are doubled while working, and working counts as relaxing.

• Lifetime Disciple
This discipline is for those wishing to gain from a lifetime master, never to be one themselves until their master is deceased. Gaining knowledge from over the course of their studies, the disciple will receive twice the benefits from each of their master's smithing trees (up to their completed titles), while in the living presence of them. After their master's death, they will successfully pass on a permanent, one-quarter of the benefit to their own Lifetime Disciple, if any. (round up to the nearest applicable number, as designated in the smithing thread)

Reductions :
• Glassblowing : Two [ 02 ], out of every four [ 04 ] posts, reduction for jobs
• Woodworking : One [ 01 ], out of every four [ 04 ], posts reduction for jobs
• Tailoring: Two [ 02 ], out of every four [ 04 ], posts reduction for jobs
• Infusion Artificer: One [ 01 ], out of every four [ 04 ], posts reduction for jobs

Personal Attributes :
• A Natural's Touch:
After long study and a certain knack at birth, Honō has what many people call a "natural talent" for creation of glass objects. Because of this, every third creation is exceptionally superb, granting a 50% increase to profits made from that item.

• Black Glass Mentality:
Honō's years of training with Katon [ Fire ] jutsu and glassmaking and mainpulation jutsu has helped him learn a deeper understanding of volcanic glass. As such, his experiments with enchanting any volcanic glass with Gellal has been cut by half.

• Uncanny Aim:
Preferring to create and maintain distance between himself and the enemy, Honō has spent a considerable amount of time crafting range weapons, especially throwing weapons. From this he finds himself creating double the expected number every second attempt without the extra cost of material or time.

User Image As Soraru had gone to get out of the office, he tensed harshly, hearing Xion's voice call out her old childhood nickname for him. It was a dumb name, yes, but she gave everyone dumb names after awhile. There were just no nobles or authorities around to hear it anymore. He turned to face her, and she was already speaking once more, expressing the possibility that it could've been anyone else. While Soraru had matured and changed a bit in appearance since his youth, she didn't need her eyes to detect him, and that made her scarier than most of the people sent to track him. Despite those words she said, he didn't have a doubt in his mind that she didn't have a doubt in hers when it came to his identity. That further lead to him puffing his cheeks out a bit, not entirely fuming, but instead remembering how much of a bully she could be for her own amusement. Obviously Soraru wasn't going around calling himself Musunde Hiraite, because then it'd be only a matter of hours until someone sent word to the Iron Country about it. Xion wasn't dumb, she knew that. "Anata wa aku... He muttered beneath his breath, not oblivious to the fact that she'd probably hear that as well, all but pouting at the smile on her face.

He straightened out a bit when she spoke next, listening to her request. Head to the hospital with Wanryoku? Well there was no harm in it, seeing as he was heading that way as well for a bit of experience in medical procedures, in case on the next mission something did happen, and someone like Hokori, or the boy himself, actually got hurt. She continued on to say that she was trying to join the village, and he felt his muscles further tense. He'd probably be in need of a massage later. Exhaling, he rolled his head in a couple slow circles, releasing some of that buildup in his neck and shoulders. "Hai, I can walk Wanryoku-sama over, no problem. But...Anata wa koko de nani wo shiteiru no desu ka? Xion-nee?" He asked, speaking in the Iron Country's native tongue, since it seemed like those in the shinobi villages tended to use English as their primary, with only a few speaking any different languages. Not really giving her much of a chance to speak, he continued. "Chashitsu de aimashou." Soraru told her, before walking over to Wan. "Ikuzo big guy, let's get you fixed up. Are you wanting to head over there fast or take our time?" He piped up whilst heading to the door, opening it and walking out, though his head was turned to look at Wan, causing him to end up bumping into Hokori of all people.

Sora blinked, figuring that Miko or Hakanai would come first. Then again, he always tended to be the one who entered with or just before him. Soraru was about to apologize with Hono, but the boy suddenly gasped and caused the young Hakemoto to blink his eyes a few times once more. "Nee? You alright, Hokori-san?" He asked, a bit of concern crossing his features as his teammate acted as if he'd seen some outrageously gruesome si- oh. Right. Wan's arm. Looking back, he saw the torn up appendage once more, sighing out. Soraru's tolerance for gross things had grown high from the amount of animals he skinned or gutted during survival training. Then there was the slaughter of samurai and village forces he saw in one of Tsukihara Hana's civil wars, walking into a room of corpses as a young boy, hardly even a teenage yet. "Yeah, yeah. It's pretty gross, huh?" Sora said, stepping towards Hokori and looking at him again, putting a hand on his shoulder, a sign of comfort he'd given since they first met. "Just calm down. He's fine." He said, and while his tone was soothing, any sensor in the room would probably be able to tell that Soraru used chakra with those words, or perhaps it was the touch? That much would be less obvious.

Hokori's mind wouldn't entirely clear up, he'd still be very much aware of Wanryoku's arm, but a feeling of comfort and relaxation would fill not only his mind but seemingly his whole being. Like his body said "this isn't the worst thing, I can pull through it." rather than the breakdown he seemed to be having from overwhelming disgust. It'd be a sudden, free feeling, like a cleansing of the horrid sensations that were currently overtaking him. "I'm taking Wanryoku-sama to the hospital now. You're free to tag along as well after you turn in your mission. Or turn it in later. Your choice, Hokori-san."

    Miko Tengoku || Kumogakure | Genin [C-rank] || Class :: Puppeteer/ Sensor || Chakra :: 675/250 || Stamina :: 240/240
Miko took her time as it was her plan to let her squad head out ahead of her letting them pass through the office at the likely quicker pace than she'd likely take to give the full report of the mission. Everything in the village seemed to be in normalcy for the most part, but the traded looks of scorn had lessened and or just out right stopped from certain faces. It felt like the calm before the storm to Miko who'd known better than to take any false solace in this quiet. She'd just passed through the gauntlet of task beset a leader having to coordinate an effort to gather information of the on coming threat and their current position. Miko's face remained a facade of bemused confidence and sly thought, while inside she was scrambling to keep the pieces of everything she'd collected from her team to be appropriately shared. Mistakes of the past had pressed the importance of this upon her most realistically and harsh in the past, and her mistakes in the sudden crisis had turned out poorly in the long run, but the same could be said of most of the genin at the time. On approach there seemed to be an odd air about the tower, as if it were vacant of the life and prestige it's size and history had usually invoked in Miko's subconscious.

Opening the door of the tower Miko would be greeted by the sight of a disaster scene and something in her had jumped to the assumption that she'd have to defend herself or others in that moment flipping a wind chakra metal shuriken into her fingers from her wrist strapped Kaifu slip. Yet upon first observation Miko could see that the there seemed to be normal or at least returning to normal goings on. She never assumed a guarded stance but only made the weapon appear to her hand so for the most part Miko didn't embarrass herself openly for everyone to see just how jumpy she was. Slipping the shuriken back into its seal Miko would see Soraru helping out Wanryoku with a mangled arm and apparently a new face who seemed to be assisting in this. Looking around even more Miko would see the secretary working out fixing her desk which seemingly was a bit out of place from what looked to be a fight. Smelling the air deeply Miko could still pick up a faint scent of ozone coming strongest from the piles of grayish black sand that upon further though seemed like metal flakes when she thought about the smell of heated metal ore from a forge. Hono seemingly was left sick from the sight of the giant and as Miko approached rounding the edge of wan and his helpers she'd see more clearly the mangled limb stained in blood.
"CHEESE AND RICE, Who beat the candy out of the big guy?! Dudes arm looks like a fookin Pinyata at a party for kids with aggression issues." Miko would crassly blurt this out not really expecting an answer but just audibly admiring the feat. Retreating to her thoughts she would be intrigued enough to think,
Crap if we could harness that amount of power among all of us we wouldn't really have to worry about these giants as much...Though whose to say anyone would be lucky enough to still be standing after doing that or to do it more than once. Now I wanna see the other guy.

whistling and Stepping about five feet off from the group Miko would tilt her head and reiterate audibly this time,
"Ssshit, I wanna see what the other guy looks like. Probably pushing up daisies. Anyway I can see your busy now Wan, but since you got blue eyes helping you out I guess you figured out that my teams back from the mission. I gotta debrief with, well I hope the boss mans in..."

Miko would search for an answer in the eyes of the people around trying to gauge if Kaileer was around for her to speak to him directly since she hadn't had a word with the man in months since he'd saved her life. It strangely felt like he'd become a figment of her imagination, and the young man she'd meet on her first day who for the most part at the time wasn't even vastly known as the new Raikage saved her and left her with stern words. Not lingering on an answer Miko figured she'd inquire to the status of that officially with the secretary if she wasn't informed before having said chance to.

Appearance
(( Miko's appearance has been softened a bit by a more colorful arrangement of clothing and certain portions of her hair being dyed green to give it some contrasting color to her favorite hue "Indian Red" Thick leggings, and boots with high socks peeking over thing wrapped and bound with holsters for knives strapped to her. Matching the color of her signature red shawl/scarf she still wears like a hood over her head and hat. A baggy U-neck sweater had replaced her usual short cut robbed vest she used to wear and yet still shows the same level of room for her to bundle up her hands into her sleeves with ease. A black feather lined black skirt holding a number of bobbles looped through color strings are attacked to a thin studded belt at her waist. Wool finger-less sleeve length gloves are used to keep hidden a number of seals on along her arms. Her another bag with a poison apple symbol was added as an extra means to carry items she might pick up other than those in her mainly used Baroque designed waist strapped back on her back. ))

• Natural Puppeteer: With any Kugutsu jutsu and Mechanisms Miko conserves 10 chakra points from the normal cost at a minimum expense of 5 chakra points, and non-offensive kugutsu techniques are counted as supplemental no longer consuming an activation. Yet this proficiency in Kugutsu strains her ability with elemental ninjutsu having her techniques involving either of her elements cost +5 chakra points to their normal cost. [Maruton no included]

Resolution: The user is more determined to get fine details from his sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the user's range of the technique is reduced by half. The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, and how large their chakra pool is.

Technique Name: Buraindotacchi: Douteki Giketsu [Blind Touch: Kinetic Resolution]
Rank: X-Rank (E-S) [Only E-rank right now]
Type: Taijutsu_Training
Element: Taijutsu
Description: A trained physical sensory ability that is an extended and refined blend between ones muscle memory and a heightened sense of touch. Trough training one can “read” and remember kinetic motion of physical objects around themselves as long as some form of motion (vibration) is happening around them, and there after differentiates them specifically committing the sensation to memory. (New sensations are responded to vaguely if not committed to memory/identified already.)
This ability has only a 6-yards [3-yards] cubic range, and works better on the ground/in water. Where vibrations are involved mid-air sensing isn’t exact. The practitioner retains a slight increase in reflexes over their current Rank standard from this ability, and when retrained this boost also increase from slightly, to mildly, to moderately and etc. Though passive this ability drains stamina when used to dodge equal to the rank of the technique being avoided with in the trained limit!

Mission::

Title: Scouting the Strangling Cloud Forest
Rank: C
Solo or Squad: Squad
Minimum Posts: 5 each [6/5] [Complete]
Your objective is to scout the forest for the rumored invaders--I'm sure all of you have met Wanryoku by this point, and it is a group of people like him that you are looking for. Smoke from fire was reported near the eastern shore, a mile or two within the forest. It could just be campers, but they have been there several days.

As a warning: you are not to engage. Engaging the enemy will result in an instant failure of the mission, assuming you make it back alive.

The doe-eyed receptionist turned her head toward Liori, gaze still fixed on Wan and the small amount of destruction left behind him. All she'd done is leave to fetch ryo mission reward, and she'd returned to the Raikage himself attacking on of their own. And then adviser Wan stepped in, and now he was hurt... It seemed the sand that was left lying everywhere would be left for her to clean, which to some extent frustrated her but she was far too horrified otherwise to give it much thought. Then her attention flicked over to the white-haired genin, although she looked no less shocked. "A-ah, yeah. I'm alright. It's good to see you safe, Liori-san." Her grip tightened slightly on the bundle of papers she held, but not a moment later, Soraru spoke to her, reporting that their mission was complete and requesting some small jobs. To which she complied before returning to Liori, more than a little flustered. "I'm sorry, things are a little hectic right now. What can I do for you?"

Liori had wanted to punch at least two people square in their jaws when they just slid in between her like she ques didn't exist. Had no one in the village learned how to wait their turn? The very smug sing-song man was the worst of the intrusions, he just had a face that screamed hit me. She let out an exaggerated sigh of relief when the receptionist had finally gotten to reply to her question, it seemed to be interruption after interruption. She took it with strides through, despite her headache humming louder from the annoyance. "That is good to hear, what with how messed up this place looks... if you need a hand once this place thins out I'd be happy to help," She said gesturing to the Jackson Pollock like mess of dark sand, "Mostly because I had come here to ask the Raikage something but I doubt right now is a good time." She pinched the bridge of her nose. She was under the assumption he would be in his office dealing with whoever had made such a mess out of the lobby. Her request to finally train the jutsu she had been working on in her spare time would have to wait... longer. She gave the woman a smile before resting her back against the wall, eyes looking on the giant with pity. Who ever had managed to do that to his arm must have gotten it back in spades. Its a good thing she respected his ability to take care of himself because while she was attempting to talk to the nurse people had swarmed him, her being in that group would have just added unneeded stress. "Do you mind if I hang out here in the meantime? Help out or whatever..." She asked, scratching the side of her cheek. She wouldn't feel to bad if she was told no, the lobby was looking a little crowded. She could always just go home and attempt to sleep.

I watch as the girl in the maid outfit walks away, thankful that she seems to know what she's going to do, even if she said she can't help. I watch Wan interact with her and the redhead. Then I notice new people come and go. There's someone that the Maid girl calls Musubi, who then agree's to help Wan get to the hospital. I see the man who looks like he's gonna be sick by the door.

Then this girl walks in and starts jeering about how she wants to see the other guy
from the fight and I think about how bad that could turn out.

I hear more flirting of sorts from behind me at the secretaries desk and groan a little. How can things be so normal all of the sudden? The Raikage almost died, and almost killed a cloud nin who apparently had been guilty of insubordination on multiple occasions.

Suddenly my ears perk up.Someone, the girl that had been joking about Wan's opponent I think, was looking for Kaileer. s**t. Based on what had happened here, I don't think Kaileer is in the mood to see anyone. I turn to her and move to intercept her. Addressing her I begin to speak "I don't think Kaileer is available right now. You were wondering who did that to Lord Wanryoku's arm? Well, It was Lord Raikage. There was a fight," I gesture to the wreckage around me,"between Kaileer and a red headed Cloud Nin. The redhead had been guilty of insubordination or something one too many times, and Kaileer had enough of it. Lord Wanryoku jumped in before Kaileer could deliver the final blow. But I don't think Lord Raikage is going to be seeing anyone again for a bit." I finish speaking and give a sheepish grin. "You know, it's kind of a drag. I just got my headband too."

-----{ D } espite the rather gruesome wound Wanryoku was trained to remain sober and aware, allowing him to remain thinking where others would be in shock. The unfortunate circumstance is that this meant pain radiated from him in waves that pulsed with his torn and ruined flesh, for bones had splintered and meat pulverized. None could take such punishment and pretend to not be effected. And so his teeth ground at every word spoken at him, for his senses were alight in what his instincts had dictated to be panic, with every movement made seeming to be stark clear and moving in slow motion. Odd though it was, he knew it for its truth: adrenaline coursing through him. Without a doubt the instant it's supply train ended from his body to the proper departments he would be down for the count.
-----So when the question came from Miko, the exclamation and the spoken desire of seeing the "other guy", Wan answered with characteristic bluntness that served him well on instinct, but which might well cause issues later for their illustrious leader. "Kaileer...I stop his attack with hand, cause this..." While it might not sound like much, it would take only understanding the level of physical mastery Wanryoku had at his disposal to realize how incredible that was. The giant held more strength than any human in the village naturally, and his stopping power was immense, given how he wielded the wrecking ball that was his main weapon. It meant that Kaileer had to have struck with more force, even if only temporarily, than Wanryoku could have pushed out.
-----Shaking his head, the giant turned and moved towards the door, where, out of the corner of his eye, he realized Hono had been waiting. A genuine smile spread across his face at the sight of the giant's favorite Genin a moment before he scooped the trembling kid, ignoring the jutsu cast on him, onto his shoulder in a sitting position. As he did, he called over his shoulder to Miko to give orders. "Give to ANBU Captain in office, and we speak later." Simple orders, for a simple unspoken question, and all he would give before continuing onward, towards the hospital, Hono on his shoulder and moving on.
-----It wasn't that he was ignoring anyone, by far, but the pounding in his head was getting to a point where hearing them might have been near impossible. [Exit to Hospital]

A genuinely hurt expression crossed Xion's face when Musubi called her evil: her mouth an open frown like she was shocked and her eyes, though unseeing, staring in distress in the perpetrator's general direction. She may have been overreacting a bit. Like most other emotions to pass through the woman's mind, though, the feeling of hurt was swiftly replaced. There it was again, the whimsical smile. "Haaai," she replied simply, refraining from teasing Musubi further for the sake of his heart. She couldn't hear it, of course. Her ears weren't that good. Rather, this was one of those rare moments where Xion managed to actually clue into someone's emotional state from their tone and word choice.

Just as one person in need of medical aid was about to leave, it appeared that another entered. That would be Hono, of course. He didn't sound too good. However, she said not a word because it seemed like Musubi had a handle on it. She didn't have any of her sensory techniques active, but she could feel the use of chakra upon the deer-like newcomer. She didn't know what Musubi was doing to the kid but she figured it was a good thing.

Then both people in need of medical aid were gone, along with Musubi. Xion had picked up enough to know that the giant had (probably) picked up the other "injured" person on his way out. she thought, believing that the giant had also noticed this new person needed medical attention.

In one go, about half the people in the office were gone. For Xion, that meant she could return to her original reason for climbing all the way up here. Although, when Xion wasn't looked, it seemed that the secretary had become busy helping someone else. No worries. She just approached the desk and waited patiently for her turn. Not being able to see the line, she wasn't sure where to stand, so she sort of just placed herself randomly about four or five paces away from the desk.

Hina Akemi

The young secretary's gaze moved from Liori to the many files and papers now scattered from her tipped desk, as well, of course, at the aforementioned mess the Raikage, Axel, and Wan had left behind. She gave a small huff of dissatisfaction but shook her head slowly in response to the white-haired genin. "I wouldn't mind the help, but don't let me inconvenience you." She gave Liori a small but sincere smile and turned away to start the clean-up duty, deciding to first gather up her scattered work before worrying about the rest of the mess. Some of these documents were important, after all, including the manila envelope from the Konoha visitor. Ah...she needed to get that to Lord Raikage as soon as possible. Although it was likely one of the captains had returned; they could take a look at it. But if it had to do with negotiations, there was only so much the ANBU could do.

After a moment, she looked back at Liori with a tinge of pink to her cheeks."Oh, um... But if you do decide to help, there's a broom closet right down that hall on the left," she stated, pointing down the hallway she'd earlier emerged from.

If she decides to stay:

Honō Hokori
[ "A supplement to all others, yet weak on its own." ]

So it was witnessed...
Honō was grateful for Soraru if only to have a voice to focus on - one that wasn't his own choked gags of an aborted attempt to regurgitate. The Genin shivered, unable to risk answering any questions in case that was the chance his stomach contents needed to escape. Soraru sounded so calm that it brought a flush of shame to Honō's own reaction - was it an overreaction? Had Honō embarassed his teammate? Should Genin his age be so collected around an arm that had - urk! The image created by Miko's words only worked against Honō, the thought of blood and marrow and...

As quickly as the urge had squeezed the bottom of his stomach up like an icing bag, its hold released. The hand on his shoulder was so grounding now... and the previous exhaustion of the mission they had all just returned from made it all the easier to just slide down the wall to rest on his knees. A shaky, but long, releasing sigh escaped the Hari clan member. Calm... yeah... this was... this was nice. "He's a strong man, Wan." He agreed, voice soft. Never before had Honō called Advisor Wanryoku by anything than his full name and title. The roughness of his throat's most recent exercise making his regular pitch a little lower and rougher than before. Head tilting back, unsteady green eyes gazed up at his teammate, shoulders lax under Soraru's hand, face far softer in the calming, slightly ill, expression. "Thank you, Soraru." Honō tilted his head, silver hair brushing his teammate's hand as Honō lifted one of his own to pat it in thanks. Honō had turned his head to better rest it against the wall. When a strong arm had wrapped around the trim, softly trembling, body, Honō could only hum and help curl himself around the stable source.

"Wan," Honō greeted, nestling closer, eyes fluttering and pupils unfocused. "'m so glad your okay..." He yawned, the action stuttering as the Genin started to become limp. "Please get better soon." Honō mumbled, curled over broad shoulders before falling fast asleep.

Aspects

Kokuei Nara:

I watch as Wan leaves and see him pick up someone who promptly seemed to fall asleep. I see him leave with the figure on his shoulder and another person following along. I sigh with relief that Lord Wanryoku is going to the hospital, hoping he will be alright.

I turn back to the chaos that has been wrought in this space of work. This will take forever to clean up. Guess it's a good thing I've got other places to be. I smirk as I remember getting my folder on the way here, telling me to meet up with some other genin for a mission. I check the time and see that I'd better get a move on if I'm gonna be there on time. Though, if I hurry I can get there early and get some more training in before the mission starts. My eyes glint a little at the thought of expanding my knowledge of jutsu. "Alright!" I shout, not realizing it was out loud. I remember where I am and what just went down. Damn I am an idiot. I'm supposed to be a Nara, renowned for our intellect and strategy. Not for getting hyped over mission.

I take a deep breath and look back at the girl I had just informed of what had happened. "Wan seemed to have something for you to do, so I suppose you should go take care of that. I'll catch you around. Name Kokuei, by the way. Kokuei Nara. Now, if you will excuse me, I have a mission I need to take care of." With that, I give her a nice big grin and head towards the door.

Waiting patiently to be called upon was the polite thing to do, but, Xion saw no harm in trying, so she stepped up and approached the receptionist directly with her request, "Hello. May I join Kumogakure?".

The doe-eyed receptionist seemed frazzled with the recent events. However, new recruits were always welcome (probably), even blind ones (uhuh, definitely). After saying this and that and doing things here and there, the receptionist handed Xion her headband.

Xion graciously received the headband. Then she simply stood there, waiting to hear what she was supposed to do next. Standing. Standing. Standing...

The receptionist, meanwhile, had initially busied herself with other important work. However, it didn't take too long for her to notice that the newly made genin was still in front of the desk. She stared at the blind youg woman, waiting to hear what it was the newcomer needed help with. Staring. Staring. Staring...

Seemingly out of the blue, but really Xion had put some thought into it that basically amounted to, Xion requested, "May I also help clean the room?".

"Oh, um... Yes," the receptionist replied, caught slightly off guard by the sudden question. She repeated the directions to the broom closet, "There a broom closet right down that hall on the left."

Xion looked to the right and then the left. Her left? The receptionist's left? Was it the hallway to the left or the door in the left wall of the hallway? She looked left and right once more before pointing inquisitively in the wrong direction and confirming, "So it's this way? Will the hallway be the first entrance I find in this direction if I were to trace the wall up that way?" a sweep of Xion's cane demonstrated the directions she would search for the hallway entrance within the wall in.

The tinge of pink returned to the receptionist's cheeks. Although, the embarrassment was for a different cause. "Ah... No," she corrected her previously vague directions with more precise information, "It'll be the first hallway you'll see, er... I mean approach on the other side of the room. The door to the broom closet will be to your left once you step into the hallway. It'll be the first door on the left, to be exact."

Xion's stance had assumed a very maid-like position over the course of the discussion, so now she stood at prim attention with hands clasped neatly in front of her apron. "Thank you very much," she expressed appreciation for the much clearer directions, even accompanying it with a small curtsy.

In a neat sweep, Xion's walking cane swept out to guide her through the directions the receptionist provided. At the same time, she started to really pay attention to the room's shape and the orientation of the objects within it. What came naturally to those with sight Xion only ever learned how to make up for with either chakra or the power of memory.

Whether she made it the broom closet before or after Liori and regardless of how Liori viewed this "competition," Xion would proceed with her task in a professional, if somewhat clumsy, manner.

Liori Quin Mundo ll Elemental Duel Wielding ♥ Blood Knight ll Doton and Katon ll Kumogakure Genin ll Bakuton - Mending Mouths

She was shocked to say the least when the boy she didn't recognize said that the Raikage himself was responsible for what happened to both the office and that beast of a man Wan. Running a hand through her hair she let it sink in, questions of why were on her mind but she had something else to take care of before she started getting nosy. Liori gave the secretary a smirk when she told her where the broom was being stored. "I could think of some other uses for that closet," She whispered to the woman before patting her back, "Alright just leave it to me! I'll have this place cleaned as soon as possible. Well... maybe at like half that time." She motioned with her bandaged hand, feeling still not fully returned, to emphasis her point. Sure it was going to be hard to sweep up what smelled like metallic sand as it was, but with one hand barely functioning? Yea she wasn't looking forward to how much work this really was going to be. With a smile she turned around and began walking down the hall, attempting to test her hand by tapping her fingers to her thumb clumsily. While it wasn't the greatest it would at least seem she could use it to some degree now that the medication was wearing down.

'You got this Liori. Just gotta clean up this mess.' She thought as she opened the broom closet, looking between the bundle of brooms that rested in the corner. With a sigh she grabbed the closest broom and closed the door, spotting the unfamiliar, dare she say cute, maid talking to the secretary. Offering to help with the cleaning. "Oh it is on." She whispered, closing the broom closet and setting to work. Gripping the broom she returned from the hall as the maid started down it herself. Only offering a challenging smirk... to be ignored in the process. Placing the bristles to the wooden floor she set to work, starting near the entrance as she watched the maid return from the hallway. How all this blasted black sand got into the building in the first place was one of the many questions she wanted answered... mostly so she could punch the person for leaving it behind. Gripping with the broom harder with her bandaged hand she began pushing the heavy sand out from in front of the door. It would serve to lessen how much sand was carried around by peoples shoes while she worked.
[1/5]

Continuing to move sand out of the main path down the office she snuck a peak at the maid who, while being a little clumsy, was still cleaning circles around her. Almost literally in circles with how all over the place the woman seemed to work. 'I guess that outfit is for more than teasing.' She thought as she fought back the rather crude images of said maid. A snort to herself and she continued pushing sand around until it had been tamed from one half of the room. Her idea with slowly moving it to one side was that it would be much easier to gather it with a dust bin if it was in a more focused mess. The broom had seen better days as she noticed it was getting harder to sweep the black sand, spotting bristles that had been pulled free from all the weight. "What the hell is this stuff made of?" She grumbled to herself, wanting to just dump some clay over the ground and blow it up until nothing was left. She however didn't, knowing that would likely make matters worse... But that wouldn't stop her from continuing to think about the various ways she could blow it up. A smile danced on her lips as her eyes filled with visions of glorious fire.
[2/5]

With the sand moved into one area she set to work on focusing on the furniture that usually decorated the office lobby. She gripped the side of her head lightly as her head started ringing. 'I get it. I get it.' She thought, lightly tapping her skull with her palm. With a sigh she walked over to the secretaries desk and moved it back into place. Helping the fair maiden behind it re-organised papers or at least put them into neat piles, not wanting to be accused of reading documents above her pay grade after all. Stopping for a moment she picked up the small trash bin besides the desk and started sweeping the stray sand off of the desk and into the bin with her left hand. Now that she was touching it she could notice how metallic it felt. Her hand freezing in place as she recalled a memory from her first day on the job, pushing down the feelings of panic at the remembrance of the rust flakes digging into her eyes. After her momentary panic she looked at the receptionist and offered a reassuring smile, placing the bin back down on the ground before dusting her hand off. 'This s**t does not like being cleaned off,' she thought with a scowl as she struggled to remove the sand. <******** its almost as bad as those squids damn ink.' With the desk mostly finished she left whatever remained to the maid and went back to the entrance to work on the chairs.
[3/5]

Luckily the chairs were light enough to handle with his one arm, her fingers were starting to ache with burning pain and heeding that p***k of a nurses words she didn't want to overwork her jerky arm. A tsk escaped her lips as she noticed the maid working on her sand she had bookmarked to do last. Placing the first chair down she looked over at the remaining tumble and started to drawn back on her memories to how the original arrangement looked. It took her a few seconds to locate such unimportant memories but she managed, bringing the image to the forefront of her mind as she went to work. The the left over grains of what she assumed was metal on her fingers made it a little harder to keep grip on the wood as she lifted the chairs back into place but it was nothing she couldn't handle. Hoping the receptionist wasn't watching her make a fool out of herself. 'Stupid clay, couldn't jsut hardened faster and saved me all this trouble with my arm.' She thought as she finished with the chairs. Using one of her feet to aid in the process she lifted the coffee table back onto its legs from its face down position. Quickly grabbing her broom she swept the sand that she had missed out from under the various now in position furniture.
[4/5]

The process of cleaning the office was going a lot faster with the help from the maid. Even if she probably wouldn't admit it to anyone's face she was glad she didn't have to work on it alone. She would have been bored out of her goddamned mind with all this menial labor. 'At least it beats the stress of scouting.' She thought as she swept the stray sand into the now minuscule pile she had once had. That maid was a fast worker. Grabbing a trash bin and a dust pan she crouched down in front of the remaining sand. Gripping a dust pan with her burning hand she held it firm to the ground and used her functioning hand to maneuver the bottom of the broom. It didn't take long until the remains of the sand was freed from the floor and dumped into the pin. Sliding the trash bin back to its original place she looked around the lobby to make sure she hand't missed any sand. With a nod to the maid, who continued to ignore her gestures she walked back down the hall to the broom closet. Stepping into the small box of a room ans placed the dust pan on the ground and rested the broom into a corner. Safely out of view from anyone she inspected her jerky hands to make sure none of the blisters had popped. Luckily all that seemed to me different was the small flakes embedded into her sore skin, a problem for later when she had some tweezers.
[5/5][Office Organization, Complete!]

Exiting the closet she left the door open for the maid who had finished her own tasks. "Uh. Thanks by the way, for the help I mean. Coulda been here all night. With how slow I was working." She offered, patting the woman on the shoulder as she passed by and returned to the secretary. Putting on a cheesy smile she lightly elbowed the distracted woman. "I hope you got some work done instead of just admiring me and the maid bent over," She said with a snort, resting her back against the wall, "Not that I would have minded, I mean." With a wink she started testing her hands reaction time again, all the work having sped up the process of her medication wearing off. Fingers only slightly delayed now, but with added pain. She resisted the urge to just pop one of her pills, not needing to go down that rabbit hole of problems.

There were a lot of hurdles to this mess, no pun intended. It began with the broom closet. Xion spent many minutes familiarizing herself with the equipment available. A pole could either mean mop or broom, at the very least, and there was also the question of condition. It was optimal to get a feel, literally for the size of the broom head before it got dirty. The same applied to the size and even flexibility of the dustpan that the broom would be sweeping into. [1/5]

The task of tool selection was lengthy but rather simple. After familiarizing herself with all the tools at her disposal, not including the various bottles of cleaning chemicals that Xion had several ways of guessing but no way of confirming, Xion walked out armed and ready. For now, all this meant was a normal broom, a dustpan with a long handle so she wouldn't have to bend to use it, and several empty trash bags. She even had on disposable gloves and face mask. There had been boxes of each on one of the shelves. [2/5]

Xion had an interesting way of holding the broom while she walked. Instead of just propping it over her shoulder or otherwise holding it uselessly, she used the broom as a replacement walking cane, her real can folded and tucked away. Hearing the familiar sounds of sweeping coming from the area she remembered and heard as the entryway, Xion figured that the Liori girl had that area already covered. Before getting into the thick of things, Xion flipped the broom over so that it's handle tapped the ground and used it to sweep across the floor as her "eyes". She started to trace out a rough perimeter for her cleaning, memorizing the basics like the steps and the space and the details like the level of messiness and the type, but then stopped midway. The other cleaner was moving around a lot, getting work done while Xion still sorted through her preliminary scouting. the maid switched gears. What was her preferred method wasn't her only method, after all. Xion went straight to simply dusting away whatever she could reach, building a mental map of the office's layout as she worked. No doubt she appeared pretty clumsy in the process, tripping over and banging into unseen obstacles here and there. However, no one could question that she was doing her work quite well. Her broom went sweep sweep and brushed the metallic smelling and sounding dust into the dust pan. When the dustpan was full, it was emptied neatly into the trash bag, the plastic of the bag completely covering the dust pan to minimize how much stray dust fluttered about. [3/5]

People be wary. Xion wasn't moving for anyone. She had enough on her plate with just cleaning. That meant bumping into people was on the list of accidents. However, as much Xion actually didn't care, she still politely apologized before returning to business as usual. The environment was new and thus provided several difficulties, but the task itself was ultimately routine. There was only one, moment, and that was when Xion encountered the great big pile of metal dust that Liori piled together. She paused upon reaching the stack, tracking down Liori's movements. It didn't seem like she was going to deal with the pile any time soon, and such matters were best handled swiftly before they scattered all over the place again. That was Xion's reasons for taking charge of Liori's pile and cleaning it up on her own. [4/5]

After cleaning up Liori's pile, a quick sweep of the office told Xion that most of the dust had already been swept. While avoiding Liori's movements to correct the furniture and then do a final sweep, Xion did a final broom sweep of her own. She didn't have the heart to tell the other girl not to move in the furniture yet, which she had noticed beginning about the time she started working on Liori's pile. Well, more like, Xion didn't want to go down on her knees to rub out the place with a wash cloth and the furniture being in the way was a perfect excuse to not do a complete clean. Xion trashed the remains of the metal dust, which were safely confined into trash bags, and her gloves and mask. She also returned her cleaning tools back to the broom closet. She had finished after Liori, largely ignorant of the other woman's actions beyond approximately where she was and when she was moving the furniture. [5/5]

In response to Liori's pat and words of gratitude, Xion politely replied, "Ah. The pleasure is mine." It seemed she was still in maid mode. Maid mode seemed to have worn out by the time Xion returned to the lobby, though. She was stretching out the muscles that had cramped during the cleaning. No amount of practice was ever going to get rid of those pesky cramps. Hearing the voice of the lady she had just worked with, Xion just sort of gravitated towards the person she knew a little better than others. Thus, she ended up standing awkwardly in front of the secretary's desk once more.
