It really never did stop around here did it? The constant trickle of work that is. Heterochromatic eyes studied the younger girl as she approached. Certainly far more confident than the last newly graduated kid was. Even had the presence of mind to tip her hat to the clone of San. "Well s**t, look at you Red. Respectful and bold to boot, I like it. Though I wonder, is that because of or in spite of my name being Sanae Uzumaki and not Ivilice Takamatsu?" Leaving her feet up on the desk, the clone leaned to the side and loudly opened a drawer. Whatever was inside seemed to clatter a little as they settled. Soon a headband was produced and tossed to Chie before the drawer was slammed shut with a resounding bang.

As for the request, well it didn't shock San much at all. In the wake of the disaster she herself had filled in as a substitute on occasion and taught fuuinjutsu. Though the clone did have to admit that the idea of a fresh genin teaching was entertaining. The kind of entertaining she liked because it reminded San of herself. "A'ight, show me what you've got Red. Just don't burn, flood, or otherwise do anything that's gonna make me drag a Senju up here for repairs. Got it?" This office was going to be hers soon at the rate things were going within the village. No reason to smash it up any further than it already had been. That'd just be making more work for herself and that'd be dumb.

Chie smiled widely when San spoke so frankly to her. It felt good to be speaking to someone so direct. She caught her headband when it was thrown at her, and then tied it to her side. She honestly didn’t care who the woman was. If she sat in the seat, then it was time to listen. Her smile changed to a smirk when she was given permission to show off a little.

“So something small and to the point. I got you.” Chie said. Her arms broke apart as each hand molded handseals. Anyone could do one ninjutsu. Only a master like herself could show the kage something more serious. When both hands finished, she brought them together for one final seal. A puff of smoke transpired and then a long sword appeared in her hand. Chie’s hands rested on the hilt while the blade’s tip was pressed against the ground. To anyone who wasn’t a sensor, it would appear as though Chie made a sword out of no where. However, the truth was a little more complicated.

In reality, there was no sword. Chie combined two deception techniques. The first was the basic clone, a designed to distract an opponent with a copy of the user. The second technique was transformation, one to make yourself take any form as long as you don’t look too hard into it. By combining the two through Korabo, Chie was able to make her fake clone into a fake sword. “Obviously this trick is only a fraction of my true power. I hope it shows you that I can make my mark on those kids.” She said with confidence. Her eyes were locked on San as she awaited her verdict.

The clone watched rather intently despite the lax personality its posture seemed to convey. What Chie employed was certainly a neat and rather deceptive trick. If it weren't for being a master of fuuinjutsu herself she might have missed what was actually going on. However the seals formed were in no way related to her chosen field. Meaning that they were something else. The girl had by her own testament said she was wanted to teach ninjutsu. So narrowing down the school to maruton it became rather clear that this was more than likely a tricky application of some basic ninjutsu. The clone smiled as it took a guess at what the girl had done. There was talent here for sure. Hopefully she'd have enough time to learn some things before another disaster came. "Mmmm yeah, that'll do. After you help out with the clean up and study some you've got the green light yo. Oh and just one more thing.... best be on your A game cause you never know when I might drop by."

Chie tipped her head again. It was nice to see someone intelligent in charge. This woman was able to instantly tell that Chie was a ninjutsu master. With her wide grin she bowed in respect. A young man with no real outstanding physical attributes approached the doors to the Hokage's office. He was let in and approached the, rather attractive, person who was in the office.

His pulse quickened and his voice was shaky when he said, "H...hello. I'm here to get my headband."

It wasn't even that he was shy, he just wasn't good around women in general, especially not ones like the lady in the room. He kept his head and eyes pointed to the ground so he wouldn't have to resist the urge to stare at her breasts.

Another nervous one. The timidity of the man was something which San found to be rather unwelcome. Why were so many of the new genin so afraid? "Not with that attitude you don't," she spoke bluntly and with a hint of annoyance. Her heterochromatic eyes could see that he was avoiding looking at her, and his voice was shaky too. This poor thing wasn't fit to be a ninja so far as she could see at the moment. If he couldn't muster the ability to even ask for his headband then how was he going to fight? "Grow some balls already and act like you deserve one. Otherwise I might have to send you back for remedial classes."

One blank blink, then a second. His eyes analyzing, not judging. The weapon on his back, what looked like a cross between a nodachi and a glaive, chinged softly as Akito shifted slightly. Redhead, aggressive, powerful. Pink hair, relies on either speed or chakra, prideful. Black hair, anxious, bukijutsu user. It was odd. A ping in the back of his head showed blurred faces for a brief moment with the sexes of the two younger people switched before a much different Kage. In the next instant, the world had returned to normal. Akito's eyes shifted from one to another to another in the span of him entering the office to the redhead ball busting the other male. It was a chore, but he was told he -had- to get approval before he was allowed to train himself. "Before you reprimand him more... I was told to come here to receive clearance to train."

He rolled his shoulders, causing his weapon to shift again. He needed to work. He needed to better himself. Ever since he woke up it had been the guiding force: getting stronger one step at a time.

Seeing as the timid boy seemed to need a minute, San's attention turned to the newcomer. "Huh? I don't remember catching your name kid. Did you graduate or something?" Her tone was both inquisitive and challenging. Meanwhile her heterocrhomatic eyes seemed to be trying to bore a hole into his own. San was going to see what this newcomer was made of too.

The boy's posture and look was not one of challenge, but the kage would gleam nothing from him. If anything, if it had been anyone else he would have looked bored. In actuality he was more zen than anything.
"Akito. And yes, I did." The truth would be... much too odd to explain. And technically he was not lying. He had graduated from the Konoha academy, just... 'previously'.

Unmoved it seemed. Well that was better than cowardice or visible fear. San would have preferred him to show some enthusiasm but for now she would settle for composure in the face of challenge. The name at least was enough to jog her memory on who the kid was. She'd seen his file and been notified of the graduation so everything was in order on the paperwork side of things. Reached down from her chair she yanked open a drawer and fished out a headband. "Here you go stiff, just make sure to get yourself ready. Never know when we might get attacked again so I'd get to training." With that she tossed Akito the headband, his mark of geninship.

The receptionist looked up from his desk and smiled at the man before him. The question was a difficult one to answer and he wished to keep it as close to the chest as possible. Rumors were already spreading around the village but he wished not to spread them. "Lady Takamatsu is unavailable, would you like to speak with Ms. Sanae Uzumaki instead? She has been handling the day to day operations of the village since the attack." Though there was more to say it was not his place. For now he would wait patiently to see what else he could do for the snazzily dressed gentleman in front of him.

So, the Hokage was now unavailable. Well this had gone from trying to full blown annoying all in one go. Making a small gesture with his pointer and middle finger he nodded,"Fine fine. Whoever has the authority to receive and then act upon the Daimyo's writ will suffice."

San watched ambivalently as the headband gently collided with Akito's chest before clattering to the floor. Her eyes looked at it for a moment before returning to the unenthusiastic boy. "Yeah an attack yo. Either from the UHV or the psychos that screwed up the entire village." She seemed to be somewhat annoyed by how chill he was being. Besides that though the sounds of an overly pompous individual was leaking into her office. Taking a deep breath she got up from her desk and stared down Akito once more. "Okay well good chat slick" she voiced rather sarcastically while walking past the boy. Going off the level of pompous to loud that she was hearing, the man outside was more than likely someone that she should receive sooner rather than later.

Upon Exiting her own office and and slightly down the hall to the receptionist's area San quickly saw the fancily dressed man and contingent of guards. "That'd be me, is this something I can read or should I show you and your men to the conference room?" Her gold and silver eye studied the group with some small measure of wary. More than likely this was yet another symptom of whatever had possessed Taka as of late. It seemed that problems were springing up all the time from the fountain that had been whatever problem was afflicting the lost Hokage's mood and actions.

The receptionist looked up from his desk to see that his new boss had appeared. He smiled at her before chiming in. "Ms. Uzumaki, this man is a representative of our Daimyo so I suggest you receive him somewhere private."

San's attention flitted between the two before she smiled and looked back to the representative. Their eyes locked for a moment as she firmly stated, "Well then this must be serious to require the personal visit of a uniformed representative. Right this way if you would." Within a blink the woman had turned on her heels and begun leading the man to a private conference room. Not giving a damn whatever sign it conveyed, San was quick to take a seat in the chair emblazoned with the mark of the Hokage. She would of course gesture for her visitor to take a seat opposite her. "What does his lordship request of us?"
