Given that an object would have to have no atmospheric interference to reach the speed of light, I highly doubt there would be a pole.

A vehicle moving faster than light wouldn't be able to see out of its own window. Thus, a light would be useless, and would have been overlooked in the designing process.

no you don't. As I said, regardless of light. ********, you could be driving blindfolded in the event horizon of a black hole and not have any vision whatsoever and you could still hit the pole.

I don't see why not....as long as they're wearing the proper sci-fi protection so they could be in space/whatever planet we're talking about.

Though the question I believe is: If the vehicle in question were to hit anything at the speed of light or fatser, would there be anything left of either object in the end?
