Mason swam back to shore as well. He kept his shirt off so it wouldn't get wet. He sat in the warm sand and buried his arms in it. "Is she ok?"

"It was no problem really. Besides... can't just let someone get hurt if you can help them." He closed his eyes. He had heard that listening was easier when one of the other senses were not in use, so he thought to try it this way. He could hear the rush of the waves on the beach and the crash of them on the rocks.

Mizuki layed on her stomach in the sand facing the shore. She started pulling a stream of water toward her directing it with her finger.

Mizuki broke the heart in two with a perfect crack down the middle. She looked at the pieces and threw them into the ocean.
