Lucas now followed the instructions and focussed chakra into a thin invisible film around him that was supposed to divert the attention of people as if he weren't there. if they tried to look at him they simply wouldn't. their eyes were supposed to glance past him. he wasn't supposed to exhist to those around him. yet some people around him seemed to have their gaze drawn to him. he wasn't sure why. all he knew was that it wasn't working and he probably needed more chakra.

Lucas attempted again this time he used more chakra. he repeated the coating of thin chakra process but this time made sure there was more of it. his diagnosis on what went wrong was that the last time the field had been patchy and so people were confuzed as to why a person seemed to be jumping in and out of their view until they took notice. this time however he watched people as they looked around going about their daily lives and he saw that they all skipped over him. this ment a success. then he took a step forwards and suddenly he knew that the field was broken. he had forgotten to hold it to him and so it remained offset from himself. this ment that people again were wondering what was going on with him.

Lucas performed the jutsu again. this time he knew he had to do this perfectly or he may not be able to ever use this well enough to have it be of any use. he coated himself in chakra again and this time made sure the chakra stuck to him. suddenly he could feel eyes drift off to other places. people weren't looking at him anymore. he took a tentative step forwards and when not a single eye drifted his way he began to gain confedence. he began to walk normally again and regained his composure. not that anyone would have seen him anyways. he let the jutsu go once he got outside the dojo. he then headed off the the tea shop.

James strolled into the Dojo and took a good look around at all the people training. He was not quite sure what he wanted to work on. He perused the dojo. James looked over all the equipment. He had learned about everything that someone was willing to teach him as a gennin. He watched Lucas as he trained. After watching for a few moments he figured he might as well get started. James wanted to improve his armor. Normally when he used the armor technique, It was like opening a dam for chakra over his skin. This time he tried to break it. James forced his focus to a new level. The armor wouldn't do any good if he couldn't just let it go free. If it took constant aware focus to hold it, then he couldn't focus on the fight. James tried to lock down the proper flow alignment, and then hold it while he walked through some simple moves. The going was slow and difficult. What was the secret? Thee master had made a better armor, so why couldn't he improve this one?
James toned it down to the regular technique and ran through some drills. once he was finished he sat down and focused on his armor again. James let his whole body relax and felt the chakra flow over his skin. James got it. he could use the energy of his motion to power his armor, all the little movements and big movements made there own friction. James jumped up and went straight to work with his new idea. He punched and kicked the bags. He was letting the back of his mind focus on running the armor like usual. the only difference was he focused on catching the little energy that was generated when he moved. It was a pain in the a** at first. With a little practice it got easier. By the 10 minute mark it was no extra burden. With another 5 minutes it was set in stone. James crashed his backhand into one of the bags over and over again. its impacts folding the bag in half each time. James practiced both sides. He then walked over to one of the metal supports to the building. Blow ofter blow slammed into the support. James was testing his armor to its limit. He froze giant blocks of ice. The blows shattered them one by one. He walked outside to fine a boulder, and smashed it to bits. He walked back into the dojo and made seven clones and vanquished them one by one. This let him test the timing and his ability to hold the armor. He struck them down without being touched. It was a good idea. James was both surprised and happy it worked. He walked over to one of the water heads and took a quick break.

(invigorating armor, Grand backhand and elbow bolt learned.)

Lucas strode in quickly. he wanted to get back to training some jutsu. he noted that there was what looked to be a genin at a water head. maby he could entice a spar between them.

James looked up from the water flow and saw one of the chunnin looking at him. He had not seen him except in passing. James sent a friendly wave his direction and ducked his head under the water.

Lucas felt like a spar and this genin at the water fountain seemed like he would do. he must have learnt something already or he would not be very much following the suna tradition. so... to test this genin Lucas loosely threw a kunai directly in front of him and towards the genin but aimed so that it would hit just above where his head was. the kunai had a white slip of paper on the back.

James heard a thunk sound as he looked up out of the water and saw a kunai imbedded over his head with the paper dangling. He yanked the kunai out of the wall and quickly checked the paper.

a simple seal but one that was obviously not an explosive tag seal was on the paper. Lucas simply smiled as he threw a second without a paper to the left side of the boy's head.

If there was one thing James was sick of it was everyone deciding to ******** with him instead of say hello. Jame launched the kunai back at the other nin and then followed it with a monstrous blast of wind. the wind was like a battering ram, and at its lowest level could wipe out its target and the near surroundings. James had trained his stronger.Bith soared straight at the newcomer.

Lucas simply kept a smiling happy face on the entire time but stared at james as if his eyes could not move from him. he simply dropped his arms with his palms open to the ground. suddenly he let off a great burst of wind chakra downwards with such force it launched him straight into the air. he was a good 10' high when he peaked and from there he could see what was going on. he began dropping and then quickly threw two kunai at the kid from above.

James side stepped the two kunai, but the announcement over the loudspeaker interrupted him before he could respond

(sorry man, all the Gennin are being called to the gate.)

"ill finish this with you later" James said in a stone voice as he jogged out of the dojo to the gate.

Lucas landed and snorted. and simply went back to starting his training.

Lucas activated his astral projection skill.

lucas suddenly got up and left.
