That is rather interesting. But wouldn't present Marco have the advantage? (since he has more experience and higher leveled Digimon?) |

Actually present Marco has lost all of his memories about the Digital World. So no experience or higher level digimon.
He's also lost all of his digimon so he needs to go find them again. He still has the same powers that past Marco had, but they're all dormant and must be awaken again (including Ogodamon's Seven Deadly Sins)
Past Marco would possess all of his powers and have a better mastery over them.
So I guess the idea is Marco facing against the person that he used to be to see if he can overcome his past self. |
