It was a good day for justice, but a better day for community. Bast sipped on her lemonade as she pondered the potential ramifications of expanding her familial workshop into a more open and public one. There would, of course, have to be upkeep costs, and the areas with heavier equipment would need to be monitored at all times by qualified (and likely burly) personnel. All it took was one loose kid falling in a forge to ruin the experience for everyone and set the community back months, nay, years, in its acceptance of recreational smithing activities.
There was a slurping sound as she drained the last of her drink. She pondered the problem for a few minutes while staring at an ice cube at the bottom of the cup, then went and got a refill and a piece of paper to start putting together a list of things she would need to get together.
Better early than late in this situation, perhaps. Who knew how soon her squad mate and instructor would reappear? Ultimately the girl choose to skip out on trying other means to burn the remainder of her time and ventured to the rendezvous point within the market district. Turns out she wasn't too far from her wandering by the Fountain.
Sadayo didn't enter. She chose to stand outside the entrance of and keep an eye out for Kyomei and the instructor. Man, what is his name?
It was another good day in the Shopping Superdome. Bast found she had been spending a lot of time in the area recently, just watching the crowds of people go by as she kept an eye out for shoplifters. Whether by coincidence or as a direct result of her presence, the crime rate had dropped drastically since she started her daily loitering ritual. This day was no different. After a few lemonades' worth of patrolling the area, she espied a girl who also seemed to be waiting for someone, so she approached.
"Yo," she called out as she approached Sadayo, "how's it going? Everything okay over here?"
There wasn't much motivation yet to try to make herself somewhat comfortable against a the mildly uncomfortably-looking wall. She just got there, after all, and thought it wise to look alert to some degree. A voice calls out, a greeting it seems, and Sadayo perks to its direction. She allows her head to fall forward slightly to mimic some whimsical greeting, but really Sadayo just likes to secretly bounce her pony-tails in front of other. "Everything's peachy! Playing the Waiting Game. My team. " It struck her as unusual to be so whimsical herself in an initial conversation. Roll with it. The puppeteer would shrug at her own behavior and present a follow-up question: "Would you say to wait on someone makes one a loser or a winner? That is, given the outcome is who one is waiting on shows up? "

A shinobi waiting for a team wasn't especially noteworthy in the Sand, but it was rather odd to do so at the Shopping Superdome, of all places. Bast wondered if there were another snake pit around here that needed tending to, but decided not to ask so that she wouldn't have to deal with it if there were.
"Well, if you got here first, I'd say that makes you a winner," Bast responded contemplatively. "Or maybe not, but being last is a clear loss. I guess it depends on how you define victory in this instance. What think you?"
The woman stared thoughtfully off to the side for a moment, then continued with a slightly mischievous grin.
"Who are you waiting on? We could give them a good scare for making you wait. Maybe make them answer the question."
"I guess one's definition of victory would be the determining factor. Almost sounds philosophical. I would assume the will to even wait, in itself, is a victory too. Hmm. " Sadayo would shrug again. A little extra ounce of thinking was probably necessary in her own time, in the meantime, she would have to agree with the mystery-gal. "Who am I waiting on? Uhm," Her reply drags on the stalling 'uhm' as she tried to recall who and what her teammates looked like.
Breaking the humming stall, she would hold out her arm to hold out an approximate height for each as she spoke: "short girl, yea' high, jingly staff and goes by 'Kyomei'." Sadayo took a second to glance back at Bast to gauge her height, who was more than a tad taller than the puppet-less puppeteer. "And the other guy," Her arm would raise some over head to try to mimic the instructor's height, "white hair, super pale, and never bothered to tell me his name."She would turn to speak some into her raised arm and briefly sported a slightly pained, unamused expression; "but it's probably what I get for not asking."
In the terms of frightening her team, Sadayo wasn't too certain about the effectiveness on Kyomei: could work, may not work, or may ruin the impression as a 'seemingly safe enough person to hide behind' the exorcist has on Sadayo forever. The instructor? Unlikely. What could top a chakra-beast? "What do you have in mind?" She would ask, before temporarily adopting a dry expression and checks some off direction as if she was looking for one of them.

Bast nodded sagely at Sadayo's conclusions, then wracked her brain trying to remember who Kyomei was. A jingly staff likely meant a shakujou, which would imply a religious person. Based on the description given, the other guy could only be Nariomi.
"Sounds like Nariomi," she stated while thinking over how she wanted to terrorize them. "We could pop out from around the corner and scare them. Or have them run a kilometer for every minute they're late, but that's more just exhausting than terrifying."
There was always the possibility of getting Jutsu involved, too, but it probably wouldn't be for the best to mess with people too enthusiastically. They could always plant an invisible barrier down in front of the late people and watch as they ran into it, but that could get mean if they were at more than a walking pace. As Bast pondered the various possibilities, she realized she hadn't introduced herself yet.
"I'm Bast, by the way," she said while offering a handshake. "Shinobi and part-time superhero. What's your name?"

"No! No! No!" "Miss Please!" "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" Piercing the crowd of people Sadayo would hear the familiar voice of a one Kyomei. Although it sounded incredibly distressed if not on the verge of crying to say the least. She was borderline flailing with the distinct jingles of her Shakujo following in suit making her approach beyond obvious. One small child like girl followed by three ghostly paper dolls which seemed to show signs of having trouble keeping up and behind them a large burlesque man covered in facial hair which stood at roughly six or some greater feet in pursuit with a scroll in hand.
As she ran the teary eyed Kyomei opened said eyes to see the familiar figure of Sadayo and a stranger. Almost immediately her pace picked up as if her life depended on it which in truth it already seemed she'd already been doing. Then like a professional baseball player she dove behind the trusty wall of a puppeteer. It was at this point the man who had been chasing her caught up in front of the two individuals as he grasped both his knees panting. He was no shinobi that was for certain. Immediatly now in safety Kyomei pointed the Shakujo out from Sadayo's side accusingly. "Un hata! That man tried to touch me inappropriately! Hnya!"
The man would thusly raise his hand and finger for a second as he finally stood having caught his breathe. "H..Hold on! I haven't done any such thing! The little miss just dropped this scroll here and I've been trying to retur..."The man would thusly be cut off once more via the chimes of the Shakujo. "Liar! My father told me people like you can't resist the feminine wiles of the well endowed sexiness that is a girl like me! Un hata! You kidnap and take advantage of them without so much as a second thought! Bara bara!' Thoroughly drowning in the awkwardness of the situation the bear of civilian with a hand scratching the back of his looked towards Bastet of whom he could recognize. "Bast..you think you could?" As he looked to be handing her the scroll as the little girl visibly hissed in the man's direction. He was nothing more than a simple man trying live a simple life but to his misfortune he was born to look like someone of 'labeled' variety.

Description: The Keihatsu emits a super natural glow, one that often synchronizes with the user's own chakra. Aside from this glowing the Keihatsu bares no other physical difference from it's previous form as a Chowa.

►8 Ring Shattering: Rank: X Description: The Keihatsu's rings can separate themselves from the the staff they are attached to, they then grow up to an incredible size. Ranging up to Eight feet in diameter. The rings can be freely controlled by the wielder using the staff as a conduit to direct them. (5-Chakra Per Ring. A Total of 40 Chakra For 8: Rings must be sustained whilst in flight.) The rings are then often intended to place a target in their vacant center and contract immediately to restrict the target. If any of the rings are broken the remains turn into a ball of spiritual light and return to the staff as a normal sized ring and is placed in a temporary recovery period (1 Post). If the Keihatsu is ever disarmed all currently floating rings fall to the ground and return to their normal size. The rings can also be used in conjunction with Shakujou styles if logical. The weaponized rings strength is equivalent to the user's amounted expended for stamina with Formless Style: Shakujou.

This seal is treated as an S+ seal if all 8 rings find a way to ensnare their target. The target that meets all the criteria 1: Being A Strange Creature 2:Harboring/Portraying Violent Tendencies cannot use any of their supernatural strength, skills, or powers, and effectively are stripped of all defenses up to the rank of rings used. Sacred Detainment then drains half said X-ranks worth of Chakra each post it is sustained. Sacred Detainment Does Work on Jinchuuriki but to a lesser extent only being treated as one X-ranked amount less and only stripping them of their [ Demon Techniques and Benefits ] equal to the amount of rings detaining them. Rings can be destroyed by an ability one rank higher than the X-rank of rings used or if there are three strength descriptives or higher when against a similar ranking technique.

As the Mantra progresses a ring will detach itself grow to it's maximum size and then portray the chinese or kanji symbol of an element. When the Mantra concludes the user spins their staff allowing for one final interruption and then slams it into the ground. All eight symbols glow with light corresponding to their elements fuse together into one giant ring that appears to be an eight sectioned circle with the symbol 真 [Shin] [Purity] in the center. A unfathomably powerful blast that could decimate an entire village if fired downward from the sky shoots forward. However, the beam inflicts no harm to anyone or any structure...unless it is a strange creature, impure of heart, tainted by evil, or wishes to do harm. The technique essentially, even then, does no damage, instead, it places a feeling of tranquility on all evil or violent intentions shutting them away briefly and crossing over any wayward spirits. The option for this technique to cause mass amounts of damage and destruction is possible but is considered Taboo in all accounts and doing so would destroy the weapon and make it's wielder unfit to ever wield another Keihatsu ever again. Even then, such is only achievable by tampering with the chanters rings discreetly carving [Shi] [Death] on each ring. Which no wielder could do themselves as it would make them unfit to wield the Keihatsu. This was only discovered when a former Keihatsu user asking for purity [Shin] to be engraved on the weapon by a blacksmith was accidently replaced with [Shi] the result was labeled in history as [The Black Tragedy]. While it's mark in history was minimal and the small settlement lost wasn't noteworthy the Keihatsu's capability of destruction was discovered that day and only the most heavily versed scholars are aware of it as even many who've unlocked the Keihatsu's abilities are unaware of this. Unfortunately devout historian's because of this are incredibly suspicious of all wielders of the Keihatsu.

"Sadayo."The girl would return the greeting and its handshake. She couldn't resist a smile upon hearing the 'part-time superhero' bit. Quite the title. She must be something to wear that title freely. "I wouldn't kno-" However, the next syllable was cut off and stomped out by a distraction. Her head began a cautious slow turn into the crowd. Mumbling a creaking request: "w-waait" as she tuned into a whining clamor. Why did that shrieking sound like something she knew: Kyo--- A crossing thought was delayed at the noise of the previously described clanging jingle. The clamor and jingle both advance quickly and slide out of Sadayo's view. Her peripheral vision, which she would try to follow, spies the white and violet-blue streak that was her teammate. Sadayo's person was, again, designated as a defining wall. " Enter, Kyomei." Knowingly or not, Kyomei wedged Sadayo between her and a notably uncomfortable position purposed for trying to condemn a seemingly decent guy. Sadayo would set two fingers above the shaft of the shakujo to try to redirect the girl's denouncing point. This matter was beginning to read as a misunderstanding, as the accused offers his only proof of innocence in the form of scroll, which any further cries from Kyomei would only aggravate.
Sadayo's wasn't going to be a wall to a jingling, trouble-making exorcist on the once in blue moon occasion that is now 'Happy Puppet-Receiving Day'. She speaks, although more to the direction of her elbow than to Kyomei, in a loud whisper: "Check your pocketsss." The statement was simple: A request. However a possibly insensitive request to assume that her attire had pockets.

Just as introductions were getting out of the way, the peace of the neighborhood was pierced by cries and accusations of molestation that pricked the heart of Community-Minded Woman. This situation was dire: if the accusations were true, she'd have to lay the smack down on another ne'er-do-well right here in the middle of a family friendly shopping center! Not that such a thing had ever stopped her before, but this was her home turf. She had to be on good behavior here, lest she have to avoid the gazes of the citizens. With a deep breath, the woman suppressed the spirit of the almighty CMW for the time being and focused on the problem at hand.
Un hata? Bara bara? Is that a religious chant or some kind of weird accent? Bast wondered as she watched Kyomei run behind the safety of Sadayo. The shakujo, of course, made hiding effectively all but impossible due to its size and jingling.
"Ah, thanks," she responded to the breathless man. "Sorry for the trouble."
She then turned toward the monk, dangling the scroll just over her head but not out of reach.
"I can think up a thousand uses for this scroll, and none of them are pleasant. If you're sure it's not yours, I'll take it," she threatened. It probably wasn't the best form to threaten an underling in public, but that level of discipline had to at least be threatened or this good civilian's name would be tarnished.
Come to think of it, there were a lot of seals, but not a thousand. She'd have to get creative with the scroll if she needed to make good on that threat. Maybe a snake pit would come in handy after all.
At Sadayo's inconspicuous request Kyomei would delve into the confine of her inner stitchings. Where in she would find a moment of brief surprise in truth that indeed she was missing a scroll. She would look thusly up as her territory had been invaded as the lady of whose name she had yet to know teased her. "Nun Hata! It's mine! Hnya!" The girl would thusly jump although it was unordinary, as she did not fall down as if she were defying gravity via some super natural means. She would retrieve her misplaced scroll before landing on the ground with a pout. "They are mantras. Bara bara. Designed to keep evil at bay."
The girls actions didn't end here however as to prevent anticipated furor she would leave Sadayo's impenetrable side and approach the man who she had falsely accused to surprisingly display an act of humility bowing apologetically. "Sorry. Un hata. Even omnipotent beings such as the great and powerful Kyomei Nenemaru that prostrates herself before you is prone to make a rare mistake." "Ah that, is uh...quite alright" The man would respond unsure if the girl was being sincere or gloating. He would then lean down and attempt to pat the girls head to reassure her things were alright.
However, as soon as his hand touched the little exorcists head she tensed up and seconds later the man would find a fulu talisman placed squarely on the center of his face. The man seemed immobilized in momentary confusion and the girl like a sword would draw a stick bearing paper talismans and began waving it around frantically her eyes shut in panic. "Free this soul of his carnal desires! Retsu-Zai-Zen! Make pure the body tain toad by sin! Rin-Pyo-Toh!..." This incomprehensible chanting would continue until she was stopped but it was clear by the man having long already peeled the charm off his face to examine it and looking at the other two women for some insight as to what exactly it was she was doing that there was no harm nor foul being done.

Ranging up to Eight feet in diameter. The rings can be freely controlled by the wielder using the staff as a conduit to direct them. (5-Chakra Per Ring. A Total of 40 Chakra For 8: Rings must be sustained whilst in flight.) The rings are then often intended to place a target in their vacant center and contract immediately to restrict the target. If any of the rings are broken the remains turn into a ball of spiritual light and return to the staff as a normal sized ring and is placed in a temporary recovery period (1 Post). If the Keihatsu is ever disarmed all currently floating rings fall to the ground and return to their normal size. The rings can also be used in conjunction with Shakujou styles if logical. The target that meets all the criteria 1: Being A Strange Creature 2:Harboring/Portraying Violent Tendencies cannot use any of their supernatural strength, skills, or powers, and effectively are stripped of all defenses up to the rank of rings used. Sacred Detainment then drains half said X-ranks worth of Chakra each post it is sustained. Sacred Detainment Does Work on Jinchuuriki but to a lesser extent only being treated as one X-ranked amount less and only stripping them of their [ Demon Techniques and Benefits ] equal to the amount of rings detaining them. Rings can be destroyed by an ability one rank higher than the X-rank of rings used or if there are three strength descriptives or higher when against a similar ranking technique.
►Edict of Purification: Rank: X {1-rank per Ring} Type:Special- Fuuin Element: All Description: When the Edict of Purification occurs the user stands still and begins reciting a mantra. As the Mantra progresses a ring will detach itself grow to it's maximum size and then portray the chinese or kanji symbol of an element. When the Mantra concludes the user spins their staff allowing for one final interruption and then slams it into the ground. All eight symbols glow with light corresponding to their elements fuse together into one giant ring that appears to be an eight sectioned circle with the symbol 真 [Shin] [Purity] in the center. A unfathomably powerful blast that could decimate an entire village if fired downward from the sky shoots forward. However, the beam inflicts no harm to anyone or any structure...unless it is a strange creature, impure of heart, tainted by evil, or wishes to do harm. The technique essentially, even then, does no damage, instead, it places a feeling of tranquility on all evil or violent intentions shutting them away briefly and crossing over any wayward spirits. The option for this technique to cause mass amounts of damage and destruction is possible but is considered Taboo in all accounts and doing so would destroy the weapon and make it's wielder unfit to ever wield another Keihatsu ever again. Even then, such is only achievable by tampering with the chanters rings discreetly carving [Shi] [Death] on each ring. Which no wielder could do themselves as it would make them unfit to wield the Keihatsu. This was only discovered when a former Keihatsu user asking for purity [Shin] to be engraved on the weapon by a blacksmith was accidently replaced with [Shi] the result was labeled in history as [The Black Tragedy]. While it's mark in history was minimal and the small settlement lost wasn't noteworthy the Keihatsu's capability of destruction was discovered that day and only the most heavily versed scholars are aware of it as even many who've unlocked the Keihatsu's abilities are unaware of this. Unfortunately devout historian's because of this are incredibly suspicious of all wielders of the Keihatsu.

Bast muttered an apology and a suggestion to leave to the unfortunate target of Kyomei's aggressions, if they could be called that. "Delusions" might be a better word. A thought popped into her head, though, one pertaining to those chants Kyomei kept shouting.
"I don't think he's responding to your chants," she told Kyomei furtively. "Have you considered that he might not be evil? You can't hold something at bay when it's not there in the first place. We could use your wisdom with a much more... high-level issue right now, if you would."
With this suggestion, the woman would turn back toward Sadayo, clearing her throat.
"That's right!" she opened. "Physical humiliation might be a step too far, but we need a plan to prank Nariomi for being late! Exorcise the slugs from his socks! Maybe one of us should transform into him and pretend he's a spy when he shows up? Or maybe make some clones and pop out at him when he starts talking to them?"

The man took Basts suggestion and put into the action, for he to understood the difficulty that was trying to explain whatever this small child was doing, and Sadayo's reassurances left him to no longer ponder about whatever doubts he had. As such he took his leave and with the suddenness of his leave came Basts interjection which caused the girl to finally come to grips with reality.
"Kyukyukyu. It is wise of you to consult the ever flowing intelligence of the great and powerful Kyomei Nenemaru." The girl laughed with a deviant if not sinister gleefulness. But then she paused as ellipses appeared above her head, metaphorically of course. Bast was throwing out plans left and right about ways to deceive the white haired man before revelation with a distinct drum like noise. "Un hata. We can pretend he died and now he's a ghost hata." Apparently this was all 'The great and powerful Kyomei's' "Ever flowing intelligence" was capable of producing. Suffice to say it was far from full proof.

She had found both ideas considerably clever. Sadayo spent a moment mulling over both suggestions into one bizarre scheme. The plethora of Naris quickly discovering one another accusing the other of being a lowlife doppelganger. Or, a plethora of Naris appearing one by one in some mad scramble and racing to embrace the other while probably shouting sweet nothings to the other.
Sadayo began snickering. She would go to move her sleeve over her mouth as her snicker broke into a giggle. "Yes, I love both ideas!" The puppeteer clasps her hands together, humming the last of her laughing behind her sleeves."I can see it now. I can hear it. A handful of Nariomi's just pop out of no where one after the other and call to each other like long lost lovers who thought the other was dead. When they take account of the real one, they'll go to race to him but disappear before getting to close!"
She began quoting the imaginary Thought-Nari's: "You're alive! I thought you were gone forever! Then another would say: oh you devilishly handsome double, I'd never leave you!" It took a second to clear out the last of the jittering giggles, however, Sadayo managed to collect herself before losing a brave face. Her amusement was further masked with a look of grandiose pride, "I would gladly help with whatever we come up with, of course"
