Leila chuckled, and her smile turned into a sly smirk. "Depends on what you mean by 'sleep with,'" she teased.

Nicholas hit a sharp note when she said that, stopping the music and looking at her with wide eyes. "I meant like yesterday!" He said, not really taking the joke since he was bad at taking jokes.

Leila laughed, enjoying that she could tease him like that. "It was just a joke, Nicholas! I know what you meant."

Nicholas sort of rolled up into a ball to hide his embarrassment, his cheeks light pink. "I'm not goof at taking jokes... Sorry..." He said, feeling ashamed that he couldn't tell that was a joke.

Leila got up and walked over to Nicholas. She wrapped her arms around him and ruffled his hair. "Why are you apologizing?" she laughed. "It's all right. Not too many people would be able to take that comment as a joke."

"It's not just that, but just about every joke I take seriously. I'm not good with jokes!" He said, sad but a little happier since she wrapped around him and was ruffling his hair.

Leila ruffled his hair some more. "I said it's all right. Come on, let's eat before the lovely soup and sandwiches Chef made for us get cold."

Nicholas slowly nodded and followed behind Leila so they could eat together. Chef really did make great food, even if it's as simple as soup and sandwiches. It sort of brought Nick's spirit back up a little bit, but he was still a little down.

Leila could tell Nicholas was still a bit upset. "What's wrong, Nicholas? Is that joke I made still bothering you? If it is, I'll try not to tease you like that in the future."

Nicholas looked over at Leila and shook his head. "It's not that, well kinda it is, but it's just I don't know how I would take it if you ever meant the second meaning and I didn't know because I would think it's the first meaning because that's what it might have been for so long and then I would feel even stupider if that did actually happen." He said, sure it probably never would but the thought still lingering in mind.

Leila laughed. "Even I don't know which way I might have meant it had I not been teasing," she said. "Either way, I think it's too soon for it too have meant...you know. At least, in the relationship we have now." With her previous master, it wouldn't have been too early. But that was a different situation.

Nicholas sighed, trying to relax and smile. "Yea, I guess your right. I don't think that'd happen for years or something!" Nicholas said with a laugh, honestly not knowing how long it would actually be before going to that next stage.
