Yin, who had been standing there waiting for Nurse Cricket to acknowledge his query, was having a difficult time. Alexander had brushed into him when there was plenty of room to go around and had muttered something which he could not quite hear, and then he was still standing there with some tiny creature walked up and called the nurse "sweetness"

He was actually shocked into momentary silence, during which time Nurse Cricket answered the creature's question. And while she had not seemed to take offense at the name Yin was bristling. When the tiny thing kept talking he finally snapped at him. "You should not talk so disrespectfully so your better."

Peeling his face from the table top, Calder set his chin on the table and sniffled. "...but this is important." He reached out, taking the hankercheif, and wiped his face on it, and then sneezed.

"....what if I always suck at it? I want to be able to put on a perfect charm on toooooo. Even if it's magic, can't I be good at something some small and simple?" He picked up the foil from the used charm and frowned more. A passing Labbit scurried between his feet, and he tried to block it, but it scurried past.

"You...we can always- I- I mean if you want to practice, you just- err, have to take your time, and-"

It was almost as hot as the Scarentine's event in here.

Barth was saved from further articulation by a Lammit that had jumped frantically away from a glowing grab and right into Barth's lap. He put a hand over top of it.

"-and, err, really it's...it's not the most important thing."

Cricket looked to Yin softly, with a certain degree of extra fondness, though she kept her hand to herself to keep from suddenly mothering the boil - unfortunately for the nurse, Yin may have been the only one to garner any sort of mother-child fondness from the Nurse. Motherhood. Something Cricket shied from with purpose.

"If you wish to keep capturing Lammits, I would appreciate it, but you are not required to get more than the one for me." she smiled a bit.

As for TG's invitation.

"I will confess that water and I don't get along, but if you'd like to see something interesting, it wouldn't hurt me to visit." As for how the 'little number' fit, well..... if TG was getting ideas, Cricket would dispel them efficiently.

Calder sat up a bit more, wiping his eyes. "I guess." He handed over the soggy handkerchief. "....can I still practice. ..later." He wanted to at least be able to apply it properly to some degree instead of....not at all.

Another labbit dashed about his legs, and he glanced under the table.

TG looked around, and then his eyes glanced at Yin. Monster. His interest level vanished. "I agree." He said, and made a point to look at Yin with a bit more intensity as if he should take his advice. Someone needed to mind their place.

Looking back at Cricket, he smiled. "I'll pick you up later then." The least he could do was escort her to the springs. See how the outfit moved.

Barth nodded meekly and put the handkerchief back in his pocket.

He thought it was better not to mention that the charms made him a little groggy. If he slept through that practice session, Calder would probably just dump him on the spot.

His expression brightened. As long as he could practice getting better, then maybe he could make a perfect charm transfer and not feel as bad. It was both their responsibilities, as boilfriends, to do these things well together. "I promise I'll get better. Even if I can to practice on myself."

"I shall do my best to assist you then Nurse Cricket," he gave her a slight bow before looking back down at the creature, eyes narrowing. He was confident that the Nurse could take care of this little being, she knew all sorts of useful things after all, and it was so tiny. Still, he would be watching.

But for now it was time to catch Lammits. All of the Lammits. He moved away, the first one he captured now firmly tucked into one arm and went to an area void of any zomboils. Now then, time to find some more Lammits. One scurried by but it appeared someone else had their eye on that particular prize, so he left it.

Yin was moving around trying to capture another Lammit when he noticed a flash of fire. It distracted him from the one running past him as he looked up. Yes, Miss Danny was certainly in the room, and with the tiger ghoul that was her partner. Perhaps he should go over to them...

"Well see, that's the thing, Mort." Alex replied, his good mood at having another zombie to converse with and keep him distracted suddenly souring, though he was still smiling. Always smiling. "I did tell him, and now he blames himself for not being able to read my mind and know how I would feel." His eyes narrowed as he glanced back up to see Nurse Cricket conversing with Yin. Smiling fondly at Yin. Yin going off to do everything he could to make the Nurse happy with him.

He wondered if the weremantis was ever going to come and sit back down. This was getting mildly ridiculous and Alex, who had been feeling a little upset earlier was now just getting more and more frustrated. There was nothing he could do or say to make Yin comfortable around him right now, not with a classroom full of people watching. So instead he again resumed his attention back to the other zomboil.

"Yes..good friends. Best friends. Something like that, anyways." He muttered the last part under his breath.

"Were we supposed to keep these things or put them all back in the pen? I assumed we were meant to keep one each." Subject change time? Oh yes.

Was Yin chasing lammits or was he chasing a certain fire demoness as she ran about the room? Either way, he had not quite succeeded with either.

Well, it was time to focus one or the other. Yin reached out and snagged a lammit and returned to Velcro it to the pen before going after Miss Danny. He neared and addressed her. "Greetings again Miss Danny and Miss...?" The ghoul looked faintly remember, but he did not know that he had ever really been introduced to her.

"Congratulations on your captures both of you."

Danny stared up from her little lammit for a moment, smiling. Yin was congratulating her! Danny didn't get verbally awarded a lot, okay ...

"Willow!" she said, happily patting Yin on the head, right in between the antennae. "Her name's Willow." Danny answered that question like it was the final question on jeopardy.

Smiling, she pointed to each student respectively and said, "Yin, Willow. Willow, Yin."

There seemed to be a lot of labbits jumping under their table, and Calder reached down to try and reach one. They looked soft, fluffy, and he needed a bit of comforting.
