"Yeah, I kill people, no idea why it's hard for me to make friends." Hemo said sarcastically as he followed after Melody. He felt her alternate personality was more fun, but he'd deal in any case.

"That sounds like quite a hard life." Victor told him before turning and heading with Melody. "I'm sorry for being a stupid boy." He jested, offering his hand again as they walked towards the drug store.

Shadow Stalker smiled as he finally thought of a course of action that pleased him. Why not just rob a store and freak out somebody with powers he didn't really have? He always got a kick out of making people freak out by making them believe he was more powerful than he really was. He turned into a shadow and found his way into a drug store. He tried to turn back into his human form behind the counter in front of the cashregister, but missed and ended up on top of the counter.
Man, you would think I had this whole travelling by shadow thing under control by now. He thought to himself as he jumped down and faced the cashier. He allowed a small grin to appear on his face as he saw the look of fear on the man's face. "How much money you got in the register?" He asked casually as he leaned against the counter.
"A c-c-couple hundred d-d-dollars." The cashier said, starting to tremble.
Shadow Stalker took control of the man's shadow and made it slither up his body. "Well if you put it all in a bag and hand it over I promise not to strangle you with your own shadow." He said with a dead serious voice. He managed to keep his face serious as the cashier quickly grabbed a bag and started to fill it up with cash. You know it's a really good thing they never challenge me. I would hate to have to admit that I really can't choke them with my own shadow.

Phoebe laughed and gave her brother a light, playful punch on the shoulder "you assume in the course I did that I had time to do anything other he scoff the occasional doughnut and sleep standing up?"
The cafe was nice, quaint would be how Phoebe described it. The decor was made of mellow browns and creams and the tables, made with thick dark pine, were covered in crisp tablecloths. The smell of coffee and icing sugar lay thick in the air and the tinkle of knives and china cups created a quite chorus of background noise.
"Your right, it is very nice!" making her way to one of the side tables Phoebe dumped her backpack on the chair and unzipped it, fishing for her purse in the mountain of crafting gear "So then little brother, what shall it be"
Purse in hand the older Kyle skimmed over the specials bored set high behind the counter "I think a Latte and a feta cheese salad sounds like my best course of action, you?"

VoltEdge pointed outside, tugging Serene's sleeve. She wanted to leave the place, so it seemed. Simply zapping them would have been the easiest course of action but Serene already pointed out early on that electrocuting people was bad. She pouted, looking at her and pointing outside.
"Well, that's no fun", Spike said as the 'hero' appeared. But hey! Then again, maybe Spike could use him as a meat shield or something? Who knows? Might be fun. For now though, he'd have to observe the kid's powers. "Do you really want to play, boy?", he said with a wide grin and wide, thuggish eyes.

Though Serene wanted to observe and analyze the battle further, she nodded at VoltEdge's request. Battles has intrigued Serene for a long time, seeing people testing each others power and wits, it was fun to her in an undescribable way. People knew her to appear after battles, but they didn't know that she observed battles since it's beginning. She wanted to leave also, seeing the confusion of the situation, but how can she leave Coil against those two people? He is now her 'friend' so she needed to save him. There must be a way to get the three of them to safety, but Serene was reluctant to try. Yesterday, she offered to carry VoltEdge in the shadow with her, she have never done such a thing before, she only carried herself in the shadows. The consequences of that is unknown, Serene also doesn't know the limits of her shadow manipulation. A plan of escape formed in her mind; First, is to test out whether it'll be safe to run, without any use of her powers. "Don't battle, run!" She shouted to Coil, trying to escape, taking VoltEdge with her. ((Let's see first if anyone will prevent Serene, Coil, and VoltEdge's escape or not. @_@))

Creature looked at the man "this is not a game" He said, feeling contempt towards the man for even saying such a thing.
Coil wasn't prepared to fight both of the supers, perhaps he could get them to fight each other and make an escape. He heard Serene yell, seemed she had the same idea as him.

[[Sorry. Internet went out last night and it just now came back.]]
"S-sorry. I just think I really need some headache medicine. I'm not in the mood to argue anymore." Melody said softly, looking between both of the two boys. She sighed, and took a hold of Victor's hand again as she led him towards the drug store.
Soon, they finally reached the drug store, and Melody let go of Victor's hand to push open the door. That's when she noticed Shadow Stalker sitting on the counter, apparently robbing the place.
"Let me handle this..."
Mizirani took control over, and smirked as she walked into the store. She didn't care that she wasn't in costume, or the fact that she had no weapons. Hemo and Victor were right behind her, and she knew Hemo had her back. Victor, she simply figured would run away.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?"

((It's ok. I know the feeling))
'How noble' Victor thought, reading her mind, looking at Shadow Stalker. He felt that taking him down would be easy with his powers, but he still wanted to play the good boy when not in costume. He looked around the drug store and gave a small smile, sneaking away and grabbing a huge flashlight off of the shelf.

"So, we come here and find it getting knocked over by someone else, fantastic." Hemo said and drew his sword. From the looks of things, the boy could manipulate shadows, Hemo then wondered if the kid was recruitable. Should I make the offer or not. He thought to himself, wondering what Melody/Miz was up to.

Shadow Stalker looked at the trio that walked in with mild surpirse. Huh, figures I wouldn't be the only one that would end up here. He thought to himself as he took the three in. Out of all of them, the only one that seemed to pose any threat was the one with the sword. "Umm, I'm kinda robbing the place." He said, with a wide grin, in responce to Mizirani's question. It was then that he noticed that the man had stopped stuffing the bag to look at the trio. Jake saw money still in the cash register and looked at the man. "Hey, unless you want to suffocate by means of your own shadow I suggest you keep putting money in that there bag." He threatoned in a mildly happy tone.

"Hm?" Spike raised an eyebrow at the boy. "Well, it is to me. So either play or be played", he said with a grin. He then noticed one girl walking out of the donut shop, trying to drag her friend along with her. "Where do you think you're going, girlie?", he said in an irritating tone. It seems she was irritated after all.
VoltEdge could not stand the sound of Spike's voice. She enveloped her hand in electrical energy and fired a shot of electricity towards him. She missed by a millimeter since he had moved out of the way before he could take the damage.
"V-VoltEdge!", Spike shouted, his lip quivering. His eyes were wide and his skin, pale as a ghost, as beads of sweat poured forth from the sides of his face. To run or not to run. That was the question. But then, Spike smirked, the defiance in his eyes setting the tone. He wasn't going to run. Not until he got himself a proper fight.

Serene's hair stood when VoltEdge fired the electricity. She didn't want VoltEdge to provoke the person, from the looks of it, the person sees this as a game. He is not going to let them escape, so Serene has no choice. She sighed and put her hand up, pulling the shadows from their hiding places. They moved as she wanted them to, towards the person who controlled the spikes. The darkness wrapped around him, at that moment, Serene made it turn solid, preventing him from moving. She motioned for Coil to quickly follow her as she ran-- taking VoltEdge with her, to one of the alleys. Her shadow wouldn't hold long, the darkness behaves differently with living and non living objects. If the person is strong enough, he can break free in a couple of minutes, the 'broken' darkness retreating back to their original place. She stopped to wait for Coil, if he isn't fast enough it will be too late. ((Having similar problems XD also on an iPad, if you go to another tab only for a few seconds the page I'm typing is refreshed and I need to type again ; A ; ))

snuggle89 Phoebe laughed and gave her brother a light, playful punch on the shoulder "you assume in the course I did that I had time to do anything other he scoff the occasional doughnut and sleep standing up?"
N K Cake N K cake! -impatient foot tap- you get your backside in this RP right now! (My deepest pardons, Nubian Princess Snuggle. -patpat-) "I personally favor the smoothies," a male voice spoke up from a table beside that the Kyle's had conquered. Armand's clone, Mister One, looked up from his seat and gave a glance to Phoebe before settling, as well, on the specials board. His clothing was casual, less covering than before. He wouldn't be able to hide shotguns under these covers. A button-up, ivory t-shirt and black trousers with grey sneakers. Easy to walk in on a bright day.
"I'll pay for the first round, have as much as you like. I'm thinking a float with my drink will go nicely." At those words, he was readily digging through his wallet and fingering several notes. This clone often handled money, to the extent that he was given a certain enough for his living, and his mission. Anything in addition would be an order through a clone that actually didn't spy and stalk for a living.
The man turned a genteel smile to both Kyle's, and nodded at Phoebe, before focusing his eyes on the boy. The other child. Gifted, oh yes, but a hero? Never officially in the league, no. He snapped out of nostalgia to introduce himself. "Jack, hi, I met your kind sister earlier in the week," lies came across ridiculously easy for him, not that he truly had an official name. Armand was someone else, someone he was made from, and in many ways he was Armand, in others; not at all.
The table the fair haired man sat at was empty but for himself. A newspaper lay flat atop it, which had been held close to his face so as to cover it when the Kyle's had first entered. When he skipped inside, having seen them coming along that same street, he did not really expect his slow ... well, nothing else to call it but a stalk; to come to an end. Now, he threw caution to the wind, addressing the younger heroes with social confidence.

"Well, I think I'll have-" Trent started before someone spoke to them from behind. He turned around to see Armand. "Well that's very kind of you" he replied, "My name is Trent, by the way. Not Jack. You are?".
