Rajin's breathing was still a bit haggard upon awakening. It was good that Krynn was there for him, as much as she could have been. Eventually, the genie calmed lied back down. For once, the ifrit felt weak and mortal. It wasn't often that Rajin had nightmares. Without thinking the ifrit wrapped his arms around Krynn's waist and held onto her. She was the closest thing the genie had at the moment for comfort. It was going to take awhile for the image of the many headed serpent to disappear from Rajin's mind. Every time he closed his eyes, there it was with its gaping maw full of teeth.

While Rajin didn't notice it, Krynn acting strangely. It wasn't her usual behavior to act so motherly and kind. Finally, being comforted, the image of the terrifying serpent was banished from the ifrit's mind. He began to breathe more calmly now with his eyes closed. "Thank you." The genie murmured quietly, wishing not for his wife to her him in a weak state. After some more time of holding onto Krynn's body, the ifrit let go and sat up. "I had better start packing. My parents should be here tomorrow to take us. They've probably contacted your parents by now and told them where they will be holding the ceremony." Rajin then stood up and went to find his clothes.

As Rajin exited his lover's room, he suddenly felt heavy. Was he still tired? The genie didn't feel tired; he was fully awake. He just felt heavy. As Rajin continued down the halls of the girl's dormitory, he was stopped by one curious student. She obviously intimidated by the mighty ifrit staring down at her, though she meant no harm. She was just there to pass along the message that he had a call waiting for him. The continued to stare before heading off to the school phones to take his call. He eventually got there. "Hello?" Rajin answered in an unenthused and tired voice. "Raji!" The sound of his mother's instantly made the genie cringe. "Hi mom..." Rajin answer pressing his head against the wall, hoping a hammer would come out and knock him unconscious. No such luck however. "Listen, we just spoke to Krynn's parents, and they decided that we go to this lovely spot in Crete for the ceremony and.." Rajin began to tune out his mother. Her voice was putting him to sleep. He almost did fall asleep until she snapped. "Rajin!" The ifrit instantly woke up. "Yeah. Crete. Great. Can't wait." Without thinking, the genie hung up the phone. His mother was far from done talking to him. Rajin went to go pack.

Rajin entered the boy's dormitory. All around him, there were the eyes of his fellow students. Some looked at him with fear, others with jealousy. They had been hearing rumors that he was going out with Krynn Zmeya, as heard by the whispers. Other whispers indicated that the two were only in a relationship because of their parents. If any rumor was to spread, Rajin would want that one. It hid the fact that the genie actually harbored some feelings for the snake. The ifrit began to pack several bags full of clothes. Some nice, some casual, some rather revealing..as usual for a genie. After packing, Rajin felt like he needed to do one last thing. But what? The ifrit took his luggage and began to walk down the halls. If anyone was already on the inside for this matter, it was Krynn's brother, Kor. Down to the bottom floor of the boy's dormitory Rajin went. Under both of his arms and in both of his hands were suitcases full of clothes and supplies. Any more and the boy might have just brought his whole room with him. He lightly kicked on the Zmeya's door, waiting for an answer.

Rajin was more or less greeted by his wife at the door. While the ifrit was pleased to have Kor take his bags, having Krynn stare daggers at him was rather annoying. "Nice to see you too." The genie muttered sarcastically as he stepped inside the room. It was weird how Krynn could go from soft and cuddly like a boa (That isn't planning on killing you) to mean and hissish like viper in such a short amount of time. "So garter snake, when are we leaving exactly?" Rajin asked, not of what time they were leaving tomorrow. Little did the genie know that they were actually leaving very soon.

Rajin blinked in confusion when Kor told him that they would be picked up within the hour. This was big news for the ifrit. He thought he would at least get a day for it all sink it, but no. They were heading out now. Luckily, Rajin didn't take it too hard. He squeezed his eyes together, processing this new information. "Ok. Change of plans. Fine." he said to himself keeping calm. "No problem." Once Kor left the room, Krynn whispered into her husband ear not ever mention that she wasn't venomous before leaving the room. Rajin stood there empty handed. Rajin left the room and caught with Kor. The genie snatched back his luggage from the young lamia. "I can carry my own stuff." Rajin said taking the last suitcase. Compared to Krynn and him, Rajin might have been over packing. The thought made the ifrit a bit self-conscious. Oh well. Know his parents, there were probably going to be a lot times where he would want to change.

Rajin simply groaned when Krynn began to nag him. He already had his mother to do that. He didn't need another talking head. "Well appreciate the act of kindness but I can do things on my own." The genie replied haughtily. The two weren't getting along at all all of a sudden. Luckily, it was just an act. Once the two were alone, they would probably revert back to their lovey dovey selves. Honestly, Rajin was beginning to miss how Krynn wrapped around his body. It somewhat showed in his face. The ifrit just wanted things to hurry up.

Rajin was about to say something to his wife, but then came a chipper sounding voice. The voice directed itself at Rajin himself. This tall giantess must have been Krynn's mother, as it was obvious by her long snake body, along with the thick Russian accent. the was impressed with the woman's beauty that was similar to her daughter's. But, upon looking at the two them, Rajin felt some kind of tension. The genie watched as the woman stroked her daughter's cheek. It was the spot where one the markings on Krynn's would have been. His wife's facial expression froze. It didn't seem natural. Even though the two might have been angry upset with another, Rajin felt he should do something. With all of his luggage, Rajin drew close to his lamia to be. "Hey," he muttered, trying to sound at least somewhat concerned "You alright?" What did those markings on Krynn do anyway? Rajin knew that they did something to affect. He figured that out in the shower.
