Amoretta was looking at the ground and rubbing her feet together because of her discomfort of being barefoot, and balancing the pros and cons of wearing worn boots when up came another white haired man. This one wore a very large eye-patch bore a skull and crossbones and had a cross which dangled from it. He had cyan colored eyes.

He also had an apple. She eyed him for a moment, trying to remember if she had seen him before. Oh yes-- he was with Jake when the man had called her useless. He had said nothing, other then "You're pretty." However, he did match the description the Adallan Military had on the Galatea's insane killer-- a member of the military who was known for torturing and killing both innocent civilians and other military members. He had escaped before he could be put to trial for his crimes, and hand ended up on the Galatea because it suited his love for torture and death.

She suppressed a smirk upon seeing him, instead frowning and taking a step back, before stepping behind Jake and peering out from behind the Mechanic timidly. She inwardly found it amusing that he, the cold blooded killer, was the only major member on this ship who hadn't pissed her off... yet. Yet being the keyword there. He would likely say or do something that would piss her off. Eventually.

Victor gasped at seeing Hector collapse on the floor and went to help her.

"No! Let me do it. I'm his first mate. I'll watch over him. You need to get the military doctor!" Erik exclaimed as he knelt down beside Hector and made sure that she was still breathing.

Victor looked at Ebony. "Well, you heard his orders. Now let's go quickly" he ordered and rushed off to find someone trained in medicine.

"It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. Cap'n says I'm not allowed." Marcus said to Amoretta with a cheery expression. She might have noticed the outfit he was wearing. Though Marcus had run away from the Adallan military, he still liked to wear the uniform. It gave him a feeling of power, plus it helped lure in unsuspecting victims who thought he was a soldier they could trust. He lent it out when the captain ordered for subterfuge missions, as his face was too recognisable as the lunatic who sadistically tortured some of his fellow military comrades to death.

Marcus finished his apple and let out a belch while walking over to the side of the ship. "I wonder how far I can make this go" he said to no one in particular as he pitched the apple core over the side. He then turned back to Amoretta. "So watcha guys doin'?" he asked.

"No, stop!" Hector shouted, panting as she reached for her head, her powers reaching out and gripping their minds to stop them in their tracks. "Don't bring more people! So loud... stop your mind's... shouting..." She huffed, breathing heavily as her cold sweat got worse. Slowly, she tried to sit up, her eyes glowing red.

"Captain, please take it easy. You look absolutely fatigued" Erik stated. He had heard rumors from various members of the Marusian military that Hector tended to overexert herself on occasion. He wondered if this was one, then remembered that the captain could tell what he was thinking.

Victor stopped when Hector came into his mind. He then went back to where she was. "So what should we do?" he asked her.

Hector continued to breath small shallow breaths, trying to calm herself down. It was hard for her to focus. "Eric... go read the damn letter. The troops should... be awake now." She snapped, trying to get someone out of the room and doing something constructive. Eric just happened to be the closest and thinking the loudest. She curled up slightly, breathing quicker, shallow breaths as she looked as if about to pass out on the floor.

Jake was going to have Amoretta follow him down to the supply closet to grab some boots when he heard a familiar voice. He ran a hand through his hair as Amoretta hid behind him. "Well, if it isn't everyone's homicidal maniac. I was just about to take Amoretta here down to one of the supply rooms so that she can grab a pair of boots. What about you?" He asked as he put a hand on Amoretta's shoulder. It was meant to be taken as a comforting action. "Don't worry too much about this guy. He's pretty cool. You know, so long as your not on the receiving end of his killing sprees." He told her with a small smile. Again, he was hoping to not scare her, but he was also making sure she knew just who was joining the conversation.

Erik sighed and hung his head. "Aye aye, sir" he said and stood up. He then took the letter back from Victor and opened it up while stepping out of the room while Victor followed.

"Should we..." Victor started.

"No, just leave him for now" Erik replied. He began looking over what Hector wrote.

Aand there it was. Marcus, the ship's homicidal maniac, wasn't going to hurt her because he wasn't allowed. Thus, if he was allowed, he'd probably be trying too murder her already. She made a mental note on that. Marcus's ability was Wind Blades, she remembered. Something to be wary of.

She twitched again when Jake put his hand on her shoulder; another feigned jump as she resisted the urge to knock Jake over the railing for touching her so... casually. She trembled more as she tried to keep a scared look on her face.

Infact, she was so pissed off now, she knew she couldn't say anything without her rage creeping into her voice. So she instead stepped behind Jake again, as if to continue hiding from Marcus.

Hector's pain melted with relief with the 'noise' gone as she drifted into sleep on the floor.

The letter read as follows:

"Do not under any circumstance open this door. Erik, you are not permitted to open any of my letters from his majesty that are addressed to me. Leave them at the navigation room on my chair.

I have a generalized location of the pirate's base. It's within the parameter of AA23 southeast and AS45. The place is filled with traps and dangerous.

First, check on the ships, make sure maintenance is progressing well and double check the profiles of the mechanics working on the ship. According to Victor's mind, his ship was rigged. If I am not awake by lunch, then proceed with the following instructions.

The pirates often visit Laputa often, mostly in the lower ring to sell goods and restock. On the back is a list of their contacts, along with the general time of day that the pirates visit them. The pirate's general profiles and wanted posters are also in the envelope. Under no circumstances are you allowed to enter the lower ring in uniform. Work at least in pairs. Do not bring money or passports, and make sure you are armed at all times. Monitor those on the list and signal the others as soon as the pirates are found. Then take them down. If you have no luck, send a report back to me at 6:00 sharp.

╔═ Eureka rolled over, making a moaning sound before nuzzling her pillow. The knock held no mercy, and by the voice that came after, she knew it was Joe's wake up call. Great, she knew that he would not let her off the hook like the rest of her crew had allowed the whole morning. Slipping off the bed, she scratched her stomach as she sauntered to the door. Opening it with the slightest crack, she leaned out to greet her welcomer.

"Well, if it isn't Joe. I am positively thrilled," her voice holding momentous sarcasm. She wasn't a morning person at all. She opened the door wider, leaning on one leg. "I'm awake now," she added before looking back at her room. It was empty, which meant that Amoretta was wandering around by herself somewhere. "Mind telling me where our little princess is?" She asked.

She knew Amoretta probably hated her. She was surprised she didn't try to kill Eureka in her sleep. Running a hand through her hair, she left the door open as she went back to her desk, shrugging on a coat over her loose top. She turned back to Joe, glancing him over. "Well, go on now, give me your report." ═╝

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys

Looking at Eureka as she opened the door wider joe gave a disapproving sigh and a rather annoyed look to her. "Amoretta is currently in the care of both Jake and Marcus. Far be it questionable care at best but having an eye on her none the less. I have Evan keeping an eye on the girl to make sure she does not cause trouble. Unlike you I hold little trust for giving her the ability to freely walk around a ship she is held captive upon" Joe said pulling a deep drag of his cigarette.

Exhaling to the side as a voice came from behind a crewman stood holding a tray of breakfast for the captain. "As for your daily nutrition as is such all things are balanced out to portions as per usual" Joe said taking the tray from the crewman and dismissing him. "Two egg whites scrambled with a hint of lemon, four slices of whole wheat bread lightly coated with butter, a side of oatmeal, and an apple." He said turning and handing her the tray. He knew she likely hated how his breakfast was made for her every morning not sparing an expense to allow her to over indulge in anything.

"If you would be so kind as to dress yourself properly captain I will continue your morning debrief on our current location in the mountains along with the status of Jake's repairs on the ship." Holding the tray out to her Joe stood there his cigarette hanging out of his mouth as the thin smoke trail slowly wafted from it's end. While he fretted about the captains health and nutrition as usual his own was rarely payed a mind. As his smoking habit was the largest of his vices.
Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

◌ Veasna had dreamt of Rachana's promise, amongst a mix of other things. His family and the circus came to mind. Oh! And Esther was three stories tall! He woke up groggily, his hair a serious case of bed hair and his shirt half tucked in and half out. He managed to totter out to find Tondra making orders. Not knowing what exactly Tondra was saying, Veasna decided to take to the back.

But Veasna was picked on anyway, and merely shrugged when receiving an order. When the crew dispersed, Veasna went to Viktor and Tondra, who stood there speaking.
In disguise. Museum of the Ancients. Stealing something. Look normal. Veasna pouted as Tondra nodded and looked to Rachana, who stood by Tondra. "Look for clothes for Veasna too," Tondra had ordered before leaving with Rachana. Veasna looked to Viktor with a confused look. "Clothes, right?" Veasna pocketed his hands, Esther squeaking from his pocket. "If you guys are going to dress like a military family, perhaps a servant? An escort?" he commented, to see what Viktor could come up with.

"I've Got just the thing." Viktor said as he dissappeared to his personal quarters for a few moments. He returned with a Military medic uniform for Vaesna. "You'll be our doctor and my brother," and he held out the uniform just in time to watch The captain and Rachana come back changed. And for the first time in years, Viktor blushed.

╔═ Eureka hummed a little bit, taking the tray from Joseph.. Her clothes were fine. She usually slept in her day clothes, or nothing at all, but with another person sleeping in her quarters, she had clothed herself for the night. She pulled on a pair of long socks and then some boots, to clothe herself 'properly' as he so wanted.
She then plucked a slice of bread from the tray after glancing over it disapprovingly. She often told Joe to give her the stuff like the rest of the crew, but he surely didn't mind to pay any expense at feeding her. The tray of food symbolized how much concern for her health that he had, and she was thankful for his dedication despite his tenaciousness.

She would eat the oatmeal as well, but would not eat the eggs nor the apple. "I don't expect you to trust her. I half trust her myself. Those twins are educated, they're not stupid. And from what I gathered, they aren't our composed, conventional princesses either. I would like the benefit of the doubt to believe that our Amoretta is not plotting my and the ship's demise, but there's an inkling that she'll jump at any opportunity to run off this ship," she admitted. She spoke in-between bites of her oatmeal and bread, trying to eat tidy. One of her pet peeves was impolite eating.

"And as for Jake's repairs, I was informed last night." She glanced over to the list of repairs and parts that Jake had made for her on the desk, before looking back up at Joseph. "We'll get a sufficient amount of loot from my savings, but we'd need to loot from somewhere to get the rest. And then we'll go to the usual place to get our parts and then…" She paused. The Erebus. She wanted to get back at that thunder vixen as soon as she could, and probably would've went after her if Jake hadn't pestered her about the ship.

She mused over her thoughts. Her 'savings' were located in these very mountains. They were hidden away in a cave for her convenience. She never kept too much loot on her ship if she could help it. They were on their way there now and would probably get there soon within the hour. ═╝

◌ Veasna nodded, taking the uniform from Viktor. He found it a little uncanny, but funny at the same time that Viktor had such things. But he supposed it was a good thing. Veasna murmured a thanks to Viktor. He slipped off his shirt and then put on the top of the outfit right on the spot, being that the captain and the princess were away in her quarters. He was a scrawny fellow, certainly not much of fat. Esther cuddled into his rumpled shirt on the floor as Veasna changed. As soon as he put on the coat, Esther crawled up his leg and tucked herself away in a pocket in the inside of his coat. Veasna patted the pocket tenderly before looking up when Viktor made a small gasp-like noise.

And then Veasna made his own, small gasp-like noise. It was a surprise to see the cap'n so…dressed up. Veasna looked away, holding the uniform pants loosely in his hands having yet to put them on yet. He scratched the back of his head; he felt it inappropriate to stare at the captain. It was…strange to see her like that.
