Aint that the truth. People are not grasping this. But if it was some visible thing, they'd be panicking and climbing up walls or burrowing underground and yelling 'stay away'. Which I think is half the issue. Because until it happens to them, they don't see the danger. And that sucks, because they could be disease ridden carriers and spreading it with out being impacted.

This is true, but can we blame retailers, the government, the CDC, the WHO? I mean, all of them somewhere have kinda dropped the ball, now some are scrambling to pick up slack, some already knew what to do, and have taken those measures in their countries while the others lag behind.

What would you invest in if you had the choice now?

I think the truth lies somewhere between all of that. A Governments response will always be to not panic the populace, so it becomes a balancing act. Do you tell the truth, the whole truth & nothing but the truth or dilute it so people don't start running around like headless chickens? It's the end of the ******** world syndrome. Personally, I think Govt tend to under estimate peoples intelligence & should just give them the whole truth as uncomfortable as it may be.
& now the shares (These are not recommendations, I'm not a financial advisor). Right now I'm buying into :-
Big Pharma...
AbbVie Inc (23rd March 64.50, now 78.56)
Exelixis, Inc. (23rd March 15.34 now 18.63)
& my old favorite Pfizer (23rd March 28.49 now 34.60)
Also worth consideration...
Vertex Pharmaceuticals (23rd March 202.21 now 249.66)
Intercept Pharmaceuticals (23rd March 54.93 now 67.05)
Any Bio-Tech Company involved in blood plasma extraction & I hate to say this but any business involved in organizing funerals. |

This is true, we've seen mild cases of panic as it is, and that was bad enough.
They should deliver it, but take measures to control the public before they deliver the news, keep any that do mass panic calmed down and inside.
Makes sense. Sadly.
