True Blood After Midnight {Let's Pick Up Where We Left Off}

Nicholas' devil eye couldn't help but think that they have crossed paths before. The smell of blood was too familiar. His thought was dismissed, however, when the girl introduced herself as Yuu. Nicholas glanced at her once more. "Yuu, huh? I don't remember seeing you when Lady Sankofa oriented us about this castle. Are you a resident here?"

When Nicholas heard Yuu's comment about the melody, he kept quiet. Once again, he was not going to share anything to anyone he barely knows.

Akane turned away with closed eyes. "Pshh," Akane heard about the residence and everything and replied, thinking of something quick "Yes, I'm one. Sankofa knows me."

She knows me like every Full Moon.

Akane thought, then saw Nicholas's quietness at her compliment. Akane then looked how he was observing her.

He might have clue, I'm Akane.

"I see," Nicholas replied as he stood and moved away from the piano. "Well it was nice meeting you miss Yuu. But I must be going now." He excused himself and began to walk across the ball room towards the huge doors.

Nicholas couldn't help but think that everywhere he goes, someone is stalking him. Slowly, Castle Neteru's dangers began to unfold as he gently closed the doors behind him and headed towards the guest chambers. A part of him was confident however. The book gave him more than enough knowledge to use so much untapped potential lurking within himself. Should he face a situation, for sure it will be resolved in a bloody end.

Nicholas continued to walk towards his room. All the doors in one side of the hall looked similar. His room's door, on the other hand, was grand. Personally hand-picked by Lady Sankofa, his room has a striking resemblance to the castle's master bedroom. Large. Elegant. A haven within the devil's playground. As he motioned closer, he thought of what Akane and that other half-naked lady would say to him for suddenly dissappearing like that. It was a nuisance but what can he do?

It was already coming sunrise, her appereance changed back to her Goddess state. She found a way to come back to Nicholas's room by going through the windows, but in the Grand Ball room , was no windows, connected to chambers. She had to go through old way.

When she saw Nicholas already in, she was in fear. She quickly entered the room, and saw Nicholas turn to her. She smiled, closing the door and waving. "Where were you?" Akane asked.

*Ra-iem smiled brightly and nodded*
Ok then we'll start looking for her the last place i saw her, which would be....*He placed a finger on his chin as he looked at the ceiling and pondered on where she was at last,,*

Oh yes!! now i remember, I was showing her to her room because she was lost, but then i got attacked by Hetukiri and that Vampire girl, Sooo lets check there first!! *he removed the finger from his chin and held Aven's hand again as he strolled away with her towards the second floor*

*As they approached the summit of the mountain of stairs they had just conquered Ra-iem stop instantly as he saw a familiar face sitting there waiting for them.

Atlas?

=he wore an nonchalant like expression directed towards them both=
Ra-ieem.. =he said through gritted teeth, which showed how unhappy he was being here.= Where are you going?

Aven laughed slightly and smiled, "Whatever is good for you" she said as he led her towards the second floor.

As they reached the top of the stairs, she saw a man, Ra-iem called him Atlas, sitting there waiting. This new person seemed rather upset, Aven found herself moving behind Ra-iem, as if she was trying to hide.

"How interesting..why is it that i can sense that you want me dead this time?" Able muttered quickly as the ground began rumbling again. Able took a step back and looked around as the rumbling stopped. What or who had he sent this time? She clenched her jaw along with her fists. The area became much colder, the water of the lake slowly crystallizing.

It's your fault for coming to this castle...I cannot let you be anywhere around here...

Able relaxed and looked into the darkness with confusion, "Why don't you want me here? What the hell do you know that you aren't telling me?" She began to become very irritated.

That's for you to never find out The dark voice simply said as something from the shadows finally walked out revealing himself in the dim sun light. The sun was almost gone making it impossible for where she stood be warm again.

Able couldn't see who it really was but stood there with caution. A sense of murderous vibes shot out of that person..or thing. This would certainly not end well at all.

Nicholas heard Akane asked as he entered his room and sat on the sofa. Leaning and tossing his head back, he thought of the goddess much as an over-protective girlfriend. For a moment he remained silent before he told her where he went. "I left. Needed some air." looking outside the balcony, Nicholas watched the sun slowly show itself from the horizon. A new day has arrived in Castle Neteru.

*Ra-iem stared at him confused, and then scratched his head*
What do you mean where am i going? Im looking for a young lady who i was to escort to her room in this castle but i have seem to lost track of her whereabouts...*He said a bit sadly, now knowing exactly where The Map God was going with his question*

=Shaking his head slowly from left to right still sitting on his chair, Atlas sighed and then said=, is this your way of showing how boring Nirvana (aka Heaven) is, that the Gods have nothing better to do with themselves but help escort mere mortals around dusty old castles with PMSing dragons and elves running a muck all over the place?

And to make matters worst, you cant even keep track of one little human =he scoffed with a hint of a mocking laughter=

Able sneezed and looked around. She knew she didn't sneeze from the cold. "Who's talking about me?" She muttered to herself but quickly brought her attention back to the fiendish person. "If i tried to run off now..there is no way you'd let me would you?"

He simply shook his head, his rotted yellow teeth flashing as he grinned.

"Well...then let's hope i don't die...well i'll be the only one hoping that.." Able sighed and felt a strong wind blow past causing her to shut her eyes for a bit. That was the dumbest thing she did and she knew that. The moment she opened her eyes there were his eyes..big...red..and filled with blood lust.

Lady K - Keeper of Keys

Aven stood behind Ra-iem, wondering if she was hidden enough. Hearing how this Atlas person was talking, Aven stuck her head out from behind Ra-iem and stuck her tongue out at him. After doing this she immediately started regretting it. She wasnt a 5 year old, she shouldnt act like this.

=Atlas eyes and expression remained nonchalant but still fixed on Ra-iem, as a response to the young girls repulsive behavior whiles she hid behind him. He then sighed as his eyes turned an off white color, and grids/maps appeared from the corners of his eyes and cirlcled around the Iris as he pointed in the direction where Ra-iem would find the girl he was looking for,=

Able lost track on how long it has been since she was fighting...this person off. Certain he was not normal. As her powers to use the elements came back she used that. But oddly enough everything she did he copied.

Able's bare foot connected with the earth rather hard causing a spike of earth pop up and it was sent sliding toward the guy only to watch the slab of earth collide with the one he made. The shattered rocks flew every where so she made a wall of earth pop up to protect her. As soon as there were no more flying rocks the wall fell down and there she saw the eyes once more right in front of her. Once more like before she braced herself as his fist made contact to her stomach which sent her crashing into a tree.

Able crawled from the destroyed tree's and stood up struggling a bit to do so. She panted heavily and wiped the blood off her lip.

Let's see how much longer you can last.. the voice said in her head as his laughter echoed throughout the small area.

Aven lightly touched Ra-iem on the arm, "Maybe I should leave, I get the feeling that I may need to." she whispered to him. "If you need me again though, my room is downstairs, always have my door cracked." she smiled and let go of his hand, nodded as a farewell and headed down the stairs. turning back she said in a sarcastic tone, "Pleasure meeting you Atlas." then made her way down the rest of the stairs.

Aven decided to head to her room, she was a bit tired. She made it to her room and entered, leaving the door cracked slightly, and headed to her bathroom. She felt the need to soak in warm water for a while. Filling the tub up with hot water, she changed out of her dress and sunk down into the bath, closing her eyes and letting out a sigh.
