The young ANBU captain sat back on her heels when the girl in front of her seemed to calm, still completely unaware of the body switch. Although the comment of 'being human' did catch her attention. "Human...?" she echoed becoming a bit more defensive, voice somewhat muffled by the plain mask she wore. But other than the slight stiffening of her back nothing was given away. "What happened, Miko? Are you alright?" she asked for a second time, pushing herself to her feet. She held a hand out to the girl --not knowing she was now blind--to help her up as well. "You had me worried there for a moment." After a moment, thinking the girl just didn't need a hand up, she dropped her arm back to her side and retreated a few feet to give her some space. The woman was nothing if not respectful, and her display of emotion definitely separated her from most ANBU.
As the Anbu raised herself, extended a hand, and then backed away, Xion could feel her movements. However, she was still so uncertain of this body, that she did not dare make such big movements. It started small, like touching her hands together and then touching her knees and then touching the ground and wall around her. There was basically just a lot of touching. The entire time, "Miko" stared straight ahead, as if she knew that looking around would do her no good.
When Xion realized how confused the other person must be, she stopped moving altogether. There was no use trying to gather information while speaking at the same time. One would just distract her from the other. "Oh yes, miss, you asked a question," Xion addressed the person she knew was standing somewhere in front of her. Her head tilted in the right direction, but even if her eyes had managed to guess correctly, they still held that blank look of staring into a void. Quite calmly because it was always best to do these things calmly, Xion gave a thorough report, "It seems several people in Kumogakure, including this Miko girl who's body I'm currently in, have gone through a body switch. I am really actually Xion Akagami, but you probably don't know me since I just joined today. I vaguely recall speculation that only certain shinobi have been affected and I'd like to add that this second switch probably affected the same people and just mixed them up differently. It's the least complicated way of thinking of it, anyways. That being said, while I was in the academy dojo, someone mentioned something about the Raikage's body, so I think it's safe to assume that the village's leader is also part of this mess. I'm new here, but I think it may be prudent to double check with him?"
In a short time, Xion had said a lot. Any person with even the slightest sense of conversation would know that there were plenty of points that she should probably have stopped at to give her listener a chance to respond. However, Xion didn't realize that. What's more, even if something was said while she spoke, she just kept on talking over it. Rude? Not something Xion noticed. She just felt that getting this information out was important. At least she wasn't smiling, but that was more because she was trying to remember if she forgot anything than because she realized smiling in this sort of situation wasn't appropriate.

A baggy U-neck sweater had replaced her usual short cut robbed vest she used to wear and yet still shows the same level of room for her to bundle up her hands into her sleeves with ease. A black feather lined black skirt holding a number of bobbles looped through color strings are attacked to a thin studded belt at her waist. Wool finger-less sleeve length gloves are used to keep hidden a number of seals on along her arms. Her another bag with a poison apple symbol was added as an extra means to carry items she might pick up other than those in her mainly used Baroque designed waist strapped back on her back. ))

Smoke from fire was reported near the eastern shore, a mile or two within the forest. It could just be campers, but they have been there several days.
As a warning: you are not to engage. Engaging the enemy will result in an instant failure of the mission, assuming you make it back alive.
The young captain held an air of confusion about her at Miko--no, Xion's words, as if she didn't quite believe it. But what wasn't to believe, given that one moment Miko had been perfectly calm and the next she was panicking on the floor? Unless the girl had completely lost her mind at the idea of a promotion, she was inclined to accept Xion's words.
The ANBU was certainly still in her own body, which was for the best, but that meant the other ANBU likely weren't affected. It seemed the primary group of shinobi were, including the Raikage. It would probably have been best to find him about this, but leaving the office unattended wasn't a good idea, and she didn't seem able to send the girl before her. It didn't take a genius to figure out she was blind after watching her feel around her, thousand yard stare at the wall opposite her. But it seemed odd that the girl's blindness afflicted Miko's body.
Xion gave no room to interrupt as she spoke, and the captain didn't have much to say on the matter anyway. Making her way over to the doors leading in and out of the office, she told one of the guards beyond to find the Raikage, or at least whichever body he was in, and follow orders from there. The man obeyed and was gone in an instant. Once that was finished, she returned to the blind girl. "Did this switch happen more than once? And I would assume it's not limited to a certain space if you've shown up here. It could be a bizarre genjutsu of some sort, but it's not one that I've seen, and not on such a large scale." By the end of it, she was more or less talking to herself.
✰Out of the blue, Xion flashed some hand signs and rather plainly called for the technique, "Sensory technique." The technique, however, fizzled. Xion thought, rather disappointed, She huffed.
She had tried the technique at around the time when the other lady had mentioned that this whole mess might have been caused by a genjutsu. Genjutsu, now that was a field Xion was mostly unfamiliar with. She knew what it was, of course. Not too much about how it worked, though.
Hoping that maybe this switch would somehow fix itself, Xion remained seated. She made herself comfortable and adjusted to sit criss-cross applesauce. Now, this wasn't a problem with the way she was currently dressed, so it was all good. Xion would have sat criss-cross even in a dress.
"The switch happened more than once," Xion let the kindly speaking lady know. It was about all she knew, and she figured that it was obvious enough that this technique definitely covered a rather wide range. From where she sat, she was touching this and that, still trying to get a sense of distance and space. It was hard. She had to start from square one now that even her body was an unfamiliar size.
Xion figured. She asked as she slowly lifted herself to her knees, "Is there anything I can do to help? Although, seeing as we haven't been attacked yet, I doubt there's anything we need to worry about." The way Xion thought was that if they were going to be attacked, they would have been hit the moment the technique had been cast, not now as people were starting to come to their senses and those unaffected were beginning to be alerted to the situation. If they weren't going to get attacked, then they could relatively take their time figuring out a solution to this dilemma. It was a sorely incomplete and shallow understanding of the situation, but Xion didn't know any better.
On her way up, Xion's hand reached behind to find the wall and rested upon it once the two came into contact. As she raised up further, she rested the other hand on the wall once it could no longer reach the ground. Before long, she was standing. She may have looked unsteady, the two hands resting on the wall giving off the impression that she needed support, but she actually felt quite fine and well balanced. She could let go of the wall and be standing just fine. She just didn't want to let go of the wall. It was nice knowing the exact placement of at least one thing in the room besides the ground.

If it was indeed the second switch, then the span of time between them happening must have been fairly slim. By the time every- one was found, it was likely the switch would happen again. And disbelieving it didn't seem to have an effect on it, if it was in fact a Genjutsu. About the only thing that could be done was search he village for the source of this. The ANBU captain turned back to Xion with every intention of asking her to help with the search, but her feeling around the room and blank stare reminded the woman she couldn't see. Right... Sighing in a small amount of frustration, she glanced out the window to the village beyond. "We're at the top of the Raikage's tower. Is there anywhere I can take you so you don't have to risk those stairs?"

I step forward, intending to grab the scroll my body, after having released my jutsu, only to suddenly be in another place with no warning.
What. The. ******** look around and deduce that I am out in front of the Raikages tower. "Son of a b***h! I was so close!" I turn to go back inside and notice I have a large lizard at my heels. "s**t!" I shout as I proceed to jump up into the air and cling to the overhang of the building. Well. That was unexpected. But as I look at the creature which had startled me, I realized it was familiar. Something about the creature is familiar. I look at it and lower myself a bit. "Scylla?" I ask. The lizard responds and suddenly I know exactly whose body I have.
I drop down, certain that Scylla won't attack me in Hitoshi's body. I motion for Scylla to follow me, hoping I am right with my assumption, and proceed inside. I see the secretary and someone by her. But I don't let myself get distracted by that. I'm here, so I need to check on the other goal I had had when I left the strange house. I run up the stairs to the room the Raikage uses as an office. I hear voices inside, and knock on the door, which stood ajar. "Hello? I'm hoping you're someone of authority, because there is a situation in the village. My name is Kokuei Nara, and there is some sort of mind shuffle going on. 2 minutes ago I was in the body of the Raikage in the academy, and now I am in the body of another new gennin. I have an Idea what might be causing this , but I would need access to what is probably classified information." As I finish talking I realize that I may have just revealed a weakness on my own part and the part of the village I have sworn to protect. I assume a ready position, just in case a fight breaks out. As I ready myself, I silently thank who or whatever caused this for putting me in a similar body to my own.
✰It wasn't meant to be an insult. It was just meant to be a genuine offer of help, but Xion took it differently. It wouldn't have been inaccurate to say that she felt just a little offended by it. Xion took the kind offer of assistance as a challenge, more or less, and she was totally going to prove the nice lady wrong by making it down the stairs without any help. Her determination spoke clearly through her indignant expression.

✰Kokuei's knock and permission for entry went unacknowledged by Xion. This wasn't her room, nor was she in her own body. All in all, she felt it would be irresponsible to open the door for him. However, she did hear what he had to say, including that he had an idea of who caused all this. That would be great information for her plan B. Xion hoped he would be let in so she can hear what he had to say.
Zetsu's Sensory Range Technique [ Unnamed ] Rank: X Official Description: This unnamed Ninjutsu technique allows Zetsu to spy on an enemy from afar. It is unclear if Zetsu uses his corporeal body or some plant created extension to spy on his targets. Either way, the Zetsu can emerge himself from plant life and extend some form of sensory perception over great distances to gain heightened sight and auditory powers. Using his greatest range he spied upon Team Guy from approximately 100 meters away. Even at this distance he could gather information as if he was right by them. Guild Description: See official description. Must remain still for this to work. Whether Kokuei was allowed in the office or not, Xion was going to get started on her plan B. It started with recovering what Xion remembered of the official description of what was known incredibly vaguely as Zetsu's Sensory Range Technique. Xion knew nothing of the name, just like how she could barely remember any of the official training instructions on how to use the jutsu or even what it does. [1/5]
What she did know, however, was how to use it. Of course she did. She'd used it just a few days ago to confirm that Musubi was in the village. The trick was teaching this body how to use it. With no memory of the formal explanation and no one to read it to her, Xion looked like she was going to have to just go off gut instinct. [2/5]
The technique, as she always did it, could be roughly split into two parts. The first part primed Xion's body to be able to use the technique. The second part spread out the network that Xion would gather information from. After that, all she had to do was actually gather the information, which could technically constitute a third part, but Xion didn't think of it that way. [3/5]
Xion pumped up her confidence. However, for all her enthusiasm, she took the process slowly. Very carefully, and only after fully exploring her fingers, Xion crafted the hand signs for the sensory technique. She focused the chakra in the unfamiliar body, needing a few 'swirls' (as she liked to put it) the align the foreign chakra patterns to her liking. Once she hit that sweet spot, she felt her senses heighten. She could hear and feel so much more, it was almost like being in her old body. It just felt a lot more limited. [4/5]
Whatever this terrible range was, Xion had expected it. Maybe not this bad, but she was already used to being disappointed with the body, Evidently, she had also come up with a name of this body's owner. How pleasant. Anyways, she hadn't actually expanded the range of her senses yet. Xion swirled her chakra a bit more and then had it burst outside her body. It spread through everywhere, at first, until Xion redirected the portions that had been trying to spread through the air into the floor and other solids instead. The air was too free and volatile for chakra to really spread effectively. In Xion's experience, it was best to deliver the chakra through a more stable conduit, such as solids or liquids when no solids were available, and let it seep out throughout the conduit to feel and gather the appropriate answer. Initially, Xion tried to pay attention to the knocker: if he was brought in and questioned about what he knew. However, it was unavoidable that, in order to completely learn the technique, Xion needed to focus completely on herself and what she was going to do. She wasn't able to catch his suspicions, but she still tried her own search first. She felt her own chakra, or rather, the chakra of the body she inhabited. Then she reached out to the signature beyond the door to search for matching abnormalities. Much like the chakra of the body she inhabited, the chakra pool felt normal… almost. She could feel in the chakra of the tamer beyond the door a smidge of foreign chakra, like a tiny speck of red pepper in orange juice. This held true with her own chakra. Her chakra was unfamiliar except for a small smidge of her own.
That meant either this illusion affected chakra, which didn't make sense to Xion, or this was something very real. She moved on to the next stage, taking a deep breath out and then in before completely immersing herself in it. As far as she possibly could, Xion stretched her senses. 300 meters. She had been expecting at least 300 meters. Imagine her frustration when she got only a little under 50 meters. she thought to herself, thoroughly disgruntled with how things had turned out.
Appearance
(( Miko's appearance has been softened a bit by a more colorful arrangement of clothing and certain portions of her hair being dyed green to give it some contrasting color to her favorite hue "Indian Red" Thick leggings, and boots with high socks peeking over thing wrapped and bound with holsters for knives strapped to her. Matching the color of her signature red shawl/scarf she still wears like a hood over her head and hat. A baggy U-neck sweater had replaced her usual short cut robbed vest she used to wear and yet still shows the same level of room for her to bundle up her hands into her sleeves with ease. A black feather lined black skirt holding a number of bobbles looped through color strings are attacked to a thin studded belt at her waist. Wool finger-less sleeve length gloves are used to keep hidden a number of seals on along her arms. Her another bag with a poison apple symbol was added as an extra means to carry items she might pick up other than those in her mainly used Baroque designed waist strapped back on her back. ))

For the second time today, Xion ascended the steps to the first floor of the tower. For the second time today, she found herself out of breath several times on the way to just the first floor. Seriously, living in Kumogakure was not for faint hearted. After composing herself a little, she stepped into the office. As before, Xion could sense the presence of a few others. Recalling her earlier visit, Xion walked to the receptionist's desk, her journey aided by her trusty cane. There was no line, so she had the luxury of approaching the clerk right away.
After feeling a light bump through her cane that told her she was close to the desk, Xion took one more half-step and pulled out the three slips of paper the receptionist had given her. Being blind, she placed them in all types of positions on the desk. One was facing the right way. Another was flipped so that it only showed a blank side. The third was flipped the other way so all of the text was backwards. "Xion Akagami, that's me, has learned three techniques," she explained, matter-of-factly.

The receptionist, used to all kinds of different characters, nodded her pretty red head and politely responded, "Thank you very much. I'll be back with your rewards in just a little bit."
Xion heard Hina the receptionist leave, and just like she promised, it was only a little bit before Xion heard Hina return.
"Your reward," the receptionist gently placed Xion's ryo reward upon the counter, "and the completion of the mission has been placed on your record."
Xion reached out for where she had heard the cling clang of coins through a pouch and brought the money towards her. Having been scammed before, she couldn't help but do at least a quick check of her earnings. She felt through what she had received, and because it felt like the right amount, she nodded appreciatively and pocketed her money.
She had completed the mission, but Xion wasn't done quite yet. She turned her head one direction and then the other to check for any disturbances that would alert her to people waiting behind her. There were none, so she felt free to take up a little more of the receptionist's time. Being rather clueless about this whole ninja affair, Xion had to ask, "What else is there for me to do?".
Hina, for her part, had actually expected this. Most ninjas turned in their mission and received new ones at the same time. A lot of that most also needed help picking out their new missions. However, it was her first time seeing a blind ninja. She didn't mean to discriminate, but it was hard to act as if a blind ninja could operate just as well as one with sight. In a sense, she was right. Xion did operate differently from most other ninjas. Despite Hina's familiarity with the situation in general, she couldn't help but hesitate, "Uh… Hm…," before giving a comfortable answer that hopefully didn't come off as her underestimating Xion, "Well, these aren't for ryo or credits, but there are several training regimens you can finish."
Xion wondered, . However, she didn't say anything. Not yet.
Continuing professionally, the receptionist explained, "The information for these missions is in the office. I can bring them to you if you're interested."
Xion's head cocked to the side with an unspoken question, . However, it wasn't a question that was going to change anything, and she was interested. Therefore, in favor of not blinding herself, Xion kept her reply short and sweet, "Yes, that would be appreciated."
Once more, the receptionist up and left. Once more, the receptionist returned. This time, instead of money, it was with more slips of paper. She was a smart one. Without asking, she had correctly figured that Xion would want all of the missions at once. Xion just gave off that kind of feeling. In turn, Hina explained each of the training missions, what they did, how to finish them, how many times each can be done, and even a short explanation regarding the importance of the body's own ability in regards to being able to complete more difficult training missions.

From what Xion understood, the gist of it was that training missions increased her lasting power in a fight and that there were various levels, each level requiring a certain amount of power to finish. Right now, she could only finish the first level, which consisted of four missions. Three could be repeated twice. One could only be done once. Two could be done solo. Two required that Xion win a fight for maximum gains, so that meant two were going to be a real pain.
However, Xion understood, so she accepted the missions and gave her thanks.
Hina's response, "You're welcome," reminded Xion, "Remember, though. It's okay to work on these missions over time. You can return with what you've done and save what you haven't for later if you ever feel like you want to start other missions."
Xion nodded gratefully, her smile reflecting her gratitude, and moved away from the receptionist's desk to let the next person through. Although, it still didn't feel like there was anyone else in line.

Just as suddenly as he had found himself flung out of his own body and into another, Hitoshi found that he was once again... in the Raikage tower? What the hell was he doing back here? More importantly... yes. A quick look down and inspection of his body confirmed that the boy was back in the body that was rightfully his. A brief sigh of relief escaped his lips as he straightened up, deciding that he would try his damndest to never think or speak of the brief, odd occurrence again. Now... where exactly was he?
The boy looked around as if to get his bearings, taking note of the girl and what appeared to be an anbu in the room with him. Considering he had never been inside the Raikage's office, he had no way of knowing that was where he was though. So instead of embarrassing himself by saying something stupid he decided to just leave. And so he did, with a confused lizard right on his heels.
'That was really freaky. What the hell just happened? All of a sudden I switched into some girl's body and then was switched back? Why? How? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!' Lost in thought as he was, Hitoshi barely had the presence of mind to round a couple corners and walk down a few staircases without walking into anything. Thankfully he was able to manage at least that much. He eventually came to the conclusion, however, that it really wasn't something he should worry himself over too much. It happened, and now it had passed. And if it happened again there would be nothing he could do about it. So the only thing he could do at this point was continue on with life as normal. He'd wait to freak out again if he found himself in the body of, say, a dog. Or a freaking squid. Now that would be weird.
Hitoshi was laughing softly at his own weird, rambling thoughts as he descended a final set of staircases into the lobby, a place he actually recognized. He was, however, soon forced to stop as he passed the receptionist's deck, head tilted with a small amused smile on his face as he looked at the back of a girl he'd just passed. "Huh... a cute maid girl-oh s**t!" Hitoshi's hand slapped against his mouth, but it was too late. He had realized too late that he'd spoken his thoughts aloud, and now they were out there. His cheeks colored a bright red in embarrassment as he worried briefly if he might have accidentally angered a powerful shinobi. Looks could be deceiving after all. For all he knew this cute maid girl was a powerful jounin that could beat him up and eat Scylla for a snack. "U-um s-sorry! D-didn't mean t-to make any u-untoward a-advances!" There, he'd given his apology-even though it was with that wretched stutter-and now it was time to make a hasty retreat. Quickly he began making his way towards the exit, and hopefully as far away from the current source of his embarrassment as possible.

Right before turning around to leave, Xion heard a voice. It was a familiar voice, yet one that she could not place. She paused to think on it after a step, right about when the voice started profusely apologizing in rather adorable stammers. Then there was a quick beat, like footsteps. Xion immediately guessed that the voice, which she was still trying to place, was on its way out, "Wait!" she shouted after the voices owner, as her cane and steps started to quickly make their way over to where it sounded like he was.

Scylla let out a warning hiss at the girl as she headed on a collision course for a chair, but alas it was too late. Hitoshi's footsteps ceased as he visibly cringed at the distinct sounds of chairs being knocked against each other and a person's body hitting the floor with a loud, dull thud.'And that was the sound of her getting herself hurt because of me. Lovely. I suppose I should take responsibility for this.'
He turned to look in the direction of the girl to notice, for the first time, that there was a cane laying on the floor next to her. He also watched as her eyes darted about as she attempted to place the chairs back in their proper places. Those eyes however were... lifeless? They moved about in their sockets sure, but they did not focus on any particular thing like a person normally would. Almost as if she... Hitoshi's eyes widened in shock at the realization as the gears whirling in his head came to an abrupt, screeching halt. 'Oh my God she's blind.'
With this realization, as the girl was still trying to move the chairs where they needed to be, he decided that he'd just have to brave his own insecurities and help the girl out. Heaving an exasperated sigh, he jogged hurriedly over to the blind maid girl and came to a stop beside her. Picking up the cane that laid right next to her leg he, face growing increasingly flushed, grasped her hand as he attempted to place the cane into her hand. As he did this he spoke, not wanting to alarm her too much thanks to his presence and the sudden skin-to-skin contact. "H-hey um... be careful a-alright? There's... a chair right behind you, and since it looks like you hurt yourself you sh-should p-proably st-stay off of your leg." It seemed Hitoshi was fast discovering that when he had something else to focus on rather than his own embarrassment that wretched stutter of his became less and less of a problem.
Now the boy would help the maid girl sit in the chair he'd pointed out if she allowed him, and then would proceed himself to finish the job she had started of placing the other few chairs that had fallen down back in their proper places. Thankfully he had been here once before and remembered exactly where everything went. One chair, however, he'd place in front of the maid girl he sat down (if she allowed him to sit her down) so that he could sit in front o her and speak directly to her. She'd asked him to wait after all, and since she'd gotten hurt because of him-he'd taken note before of the pained expression on her face and how she'd favored one leg over the other-it was only right he stay and accept the chewing out he was sure would be coming his way. He wished very much that he could do something to help her with that, but he was no medical ninja. She'd just have to suffer with the bruise that was surely hidden underneath that dress until it healed, and for that he felt bad. "h-h-hey y-you should be m-more c-c-careful you kn-know. Uh... h-how's your l-leg? Y-you should p-probably stay off of it for n-now," and whoop there it was. With nothing to focus on the stutter was back in all its glory. And it wasn't like his close proximity to the girl was helping any. Now that he was this close to her, he couldn't help but to confirm his own earlier thought. 'Wow she really is pretty cute.' Unlike last time though, he thankfully was able to keep his thoughts to himself.
Scylla, seeing that her master would probably not be going anywhere anytime soon, followed him. Her heavy footsteps padded against the floor as she grew nearer to the two, and deciding to rest since it looked like they would be here for some time yet, laid her head on Hitoshi's feet as she curled protectively around him.

Xion didn't struggle. The poor child seemed so nervous that she would have felt bad if she just waved away his courtesy. She tried to assuage his fears by giving him a grateful nod and smile in the place of words of gratitude, but when he stood in front of her so long that, from what Xion could hear, it sounded like he had some kind of creature curl around him, she could only assume that he was awaiting some kind of verbal affirmation that she was alright. "My body may be fragile, but it will heal. The chairs, though, won't put themselves back," she explained, her tone carrying comfort even if her words may have sounded more explanatory than soothing.
In the mean time, Xion was still trying to figure out who this voice belonged to. His stuttering had gotten really bad, which wasn't helping Xion recall where she recognized the voice from. Xion began to slowly narrow the posibilities, Through process of elimination, Xion decided that the kid must have come down from the office. Her situation in the academy was such that she could only recall a few new voices, and of those she could recall, they were either female or voices she would definitely remember. Oh, yes. Xion would definitely not forget the voice of the yelling maniac anytime soon.
Now, in the office, there had been only two voices. A female's, which couldn't have been it, and a male's, which must be it. Xion was confident. She had no reason to be, but she was. Furthermore, if she remembered correctly, the person in the body had introduced himself as... "Pineapple! I think..." Immediately upon "remembering" the name, Xion had burst out in realization. Then, right after that, her voice seemed to draw back in, realizing now that her realization wasn't so certain, "Or was it Pina colada? Coke, maybe? Cocoa? I think I definitely remember, "fly," though, so I think you might introduced yourself as of the Nara clan back at the office." Xion took it as obvious that what she talked about now occurred during the body swap. Therefore, she also assumed that it was obvious to guy-who-used-to-have-Pineapple-inside-him to think that way as well. Needless to say, explanations weren't her strong suit.

Hitoshi blinked in confusion, then facepalmed as he realized that of course the girl wouldn`t know he had put the chairs back. She was blind! "Oh, uh, don't worry about that. I just got done putting the chairs back." Somehow the awkwardness of his tone of voice was completely gone, which she should be able to notice by his lack of stuttering. This was a regular occurrence. Hitoshi was absolutely terrible at initiating conversation with a person, but once the conversation got started he was able to force most of his typical nervousness to the back of his mind and talk like a normal person.
He was trying to think of a place to take the conversation since the girl seemed willing to talk to him when she mentioned something about a pineapple head. He scratched his head in confusion for a moment trying to think of whoshe could be talking about? Pineapple? Pineapple head? Nara? "Oh Kokuei! He was a classmate of mine. So he had my body during the body switch hug? Hope he didn't do anything embarrassing with it. He can be a bit of a loudmouth. " He laughed at that and leant down to pat Scylla`s head. He`d missed the girl terribly during the body switch. "So to reintroduce myself I`m Hitoshi Ito. Pleasure to meet you."
Hitoshi looked again at the girl sitting across of him, thought for a moment, and decided to just say what was on his mind before he changed it. She seemed nice enough, so the worse she might do is say no. "Hey so uh, here`s the thing. You seem nice and I don't have a team. Going to train by myself seems like it would be kind of boring. So would you like to go train together?" He was worried at first he might come on a bit strong but he didn't much care at this point. While he was focused on hopefully making a new friend he wouldn't be focusing on being nervous and therefore a stuttering mess. And that was most important to him.
Xion didn't seemed surprised at all by anything. She'd nodded appreciatively when she was told the chairs were put back in place. She'd nodded in understanding when Hitoshi properly introduced himself. She'd nodded thoughtfully when the offer to train together was brought up. Xion responded to the greeting politely, "The pleasure is mine, Sheet. Please call me Xion." Wait, did she just call Hitoshi, "Sheet"? Yes. Yes she did. Hitoshi had just been officially dubbed Sheet in Xion's memory.
What followed the introduction was a warning. Well, perhaps rather than a warning, just a disclaimer. Gesturing to her eyes, Xion asked Sheet to consider his offer carefully, "I will probably slow down your training, even with the services of an academy student to read to me." Okay, maybe she didn't ask it specifically, but it was implied... sort of. For how bad Xion was at noticing implications, she sure liked expecting others to notice her own.
