-blows up the 4 houese on the left, then the Seriff's office-

-walks out tot he desert., heading home-

*drag wakes up from the gas seeing the town in rubbles*

"dammit that zero kid and the bomber guy ran away before i even got to have some fun"

The deputy is awaken from his nap by the smell of something burning. He fell to the ground out of his chair as he realized that the whole saloon was ablaze. "WOOH! I better get out of here and go get the fire department to do something before this whole place burns to the ground." After making sure that everyone else was out of the bar he darted out the door only to find that half the town was now on fire. "Well I'll be, I guess that's what i get for sleeping on the job," the fire department looks like they've got their hands full I guess the least i can do is try and help put out some of the fires then i'll try and figure out who started all this. "Alright Garurumon it's time for your little doggies to get along, lets clean up this mess." A bright light shone from his holster where he would normally keep a gun, a Garurumon appeared ready to help the Deputy out in any way. " Alright partner lets do it," he howled at his tamer, "Ice Cannon." "Good job, now put out some more fires." "Ice Cannon, Ice Cannon, Ice Cannon," He repeated the attack over and over again until the fires were all but a flicker in the charred ashes that once his favorite part of town. "Why would someone just burn down our town," the Deputy asked, it was more rhetorical than an actual question but Garurumon felt the need to to say something to his disheartened friend, "I can't tell you why but i do know that we are gonna track them down and make them pay, the sheriff will throw them in jail for this one and you better believe i wont rest until i bring them to justice."The young man encouraged by his digimon nodded with gratitude, "You're right we took on this job to protect and serve the fine people on this little town, so it is our duty to fix this problem, let's get to work." With that the duo headed off toward the school where they could see more smoke was rising hoping that they would find the answers to why these vandals felt the need to torch the town.

As they passed all the destruction they got to where the sheriff's office use to be. "I can't believe it's all gone, where's the sher..." He stopped dead in his sentence as he noticed out of the corner of his eye a crippled shape that had the outline of an enormous foot print around it. What had really caught his eye was the reflection from something shiny in the pile. As he got closer he realized that the shape was a person that had be crushed by something huge. "Nooo! It can't be...they wouldn't have...," the truth to what had happened had hit him, the sheriff had been killed just feet from where he spent most of his days. The Deputy's heart broke as he realized he had just lost one of his greatest friends and his mentor, he picked up the badge turned it over in his hands. He went to pin it on to his vest but something inside of him wouldn't let him go through with it, deciding insted to just put it in his pocket. This how he had always imagened he would feel if he ever lost Garurumon. Knowing that he could not dwell on this moment forever he dried his tears and turned to Garurumon. "It's all up to us now boy, I guess I'm the new sheriff... let's go see if there were any other survivors and see what we can do about fixing up this town, rebuilding is more important than catching these vandals right now." "I'm behind you one hundred percent, just lead the way and I'll fallow." "Right," the new sheriff said not entirely confident in himself, "Let's go see if there were any house's that had survivors in them and get help to who ever needs it, if we all work together i think we can rebuild this town back to what it once was. First things first i need you to run over and see if the mayor made it through this whole ordeal." And with that the duo split up to go save the town.
