And then everyone was against him!
"I didn't-" Avan was quite surprised at the boy's sudden heroism. Did he think he was some knight protecting a princess?
"I didn't do this."
But unfortunately the 'wouldn't be the first time' wasn't entirely false. "The first time was a misunderstanding." He spoke on behalf of Kali. The sensation that that wouldn't help was overwhelming.

Henrietta looked at Luka. The boy was a sudden hero, coming to her rescue. She blinked, surprised. She stood up then, Melty in her arms, Darumi at her side, keeping close.
"H-he's right," she said. She stepped over to Luka, keeping a safe distance but for someone like Henrietta this was her voluntarily standing by your side when she didn't know you.
"I-it was his Pokemon, I-i don't think she liked me." She was talking about the first time, but she forgot to mention that.

"Who's to say that isn't my name?" Avan crossed his arms. He quite perceptive.
Further lying wasn't going to make the situation any better.
"If you must know, it's a nickname." He looked at Henrietta then back to Luka. "Avan." He stated as his name. Henrietta would also be finding out his real name as well.

"W-wait," Henrietta said. She looked between them. "Y-you guys were talking earlier like I-i'm injured." She reached into her bag and produced a little pocket mirror and looked. Her eyes widened with an "eep!"
"I-i-i n-n-need t-to g-go," she said and she looked between the two of them. She didn't look like she was bleeding but she wanted a proper mirror, to look herself over, and a shower. Her hair, she noted with a shift in the position of her head to see better, was caked with blood.

Luka looked back at Henrietta. "You are injured. Your head is caked with blood, you're pale as a sheet and you're not very steady on your feet." He rummaged through his bag and found some wipes to clean up the blood. He also found some food and a drink. "Here, sit down and have these. Then, we'll sort you out. Ok?"
((And with that, I regret to say. I must retire to bed. Sorry to leave you guys hanging.... ))

Avan would stay as well and do what he could. He wasn't sure if the girl would let either boy lay a hand on her willing, so Avan hoped she'd take Luka's supplies. He'd wait with them in case his help was needed.

Henrietta hesitantly took the food, drink and wipes from Luka. She'd wipe down her face and set the wipes aside. Sat down, she looked up at the two of them nervously before she went about eating the food. What was it? Probably a sandwich and a juice carton or something.
She'd split it between her Pokemon quietly as she let them out. Melty was the only one to turn it down, but he was eating the souls of all around him, so yeah. She was mostly quiet during this time, quiet whispers of "here take this" and "n-no, let Socant have his share," being the only real sound she made.
A minute or three later when she was done she sat quietly again, hands fretting with her hair, trying to pull it free of the tiny clumps, straighten and smooth it out. She wasn't going to get a hotel room just to take a shower, and asking Wayne to use his seemed too embarrassing. She certainly wasn't going back to the Pokemon center. Which left, "i-is there a lake around here?"

"A lake?" He wondered if there was. "Um..." Then he remembered seeing one on the way to Nacrene. "I think Route 3 has one." Avan hadn't really paid attention as to why she'd ask, missing the fretting with the hair. He had been too busy keeping a low-key eye on the Litwick, while watching the rest of her Pokemon. The Joltik she called Socant was too adorable for words.

So Route 3? Henrietta looked up at Avan, eying him nervously. "C-can you show me?" she asked. Of course, she didn't want to go anywhere off with Avan alone, in case he decided to let Kali out of her ball. So she looked to Luka then. Something in her eyes said 'you come too' but she didn't say it out loud.

Avan nodded. "Sure." he was astounded on the inside. He was sure the girl would have wanted to go off by herself. but it was nice. Maybe he could clear the air. "Route three is..." He turned back toward town, "This way." He knew it was before Nacrene, so he'd just lead the way till he found it. He expected the other boy to come as well, surely he'd wish to keep a further eye on her.
So the began the 'journey' to the lake. And to speed things up (if that ok), they arrived at the lake eventually.
Along the way, however, Avan apologized to Henrietta for Kali's behavior.

"H-hum," was Henrietta response to Avan's apology. Whether or not Luka came they would eventually arrive. At the same lake that Eunmi and Salieri were at. Henrietta had, meanwhile, finished fixing her hair the best she could. She still felt the need to wash it however. She kept herself in the back of the little group, her Pokemon close by. It wasn't protection, she didn't want to make them fight, it was more intimidation.

"D-Vee, you okay with that? Mach punch is a fighting type attack, isn't it?"
D-Vee wagged his tail, saying nothing. Sure he was a normal type, but the prospect of improving his techniques was good to him.
"Alright, Sal," Eunmi nodded. "Besides, I think Deev needs someone more on par with him - Dali is a lot slower."
The oshawott looked slightly offended, but it was because of his body type. Maybe if he was evolved... But Eunmi didn't know about evolution.
Whether or not the two girls noticed the others arrival would be left to the next post considering I'm on a bus and typing from my phone.

Avan wasn't sure was the hum was, but didn't push it, having a feeling it would go no where.
The lake was quite nice. So he decided to wait, sitting against a tree, and stared at the lake.

"Great!" Sal looked over to her pokemon. "Hey Wukong, time to get up! I'm going to give you the gift of Mach Speed, but you have to earn it first!"
The Monferno, still lying down on his back and basking in the sun, groaned in annoyance. Muttering something in his native tongue grumpily, he got up and began to walk to Salieri, who turned back to face Eunmi.
"Alright, now so far his coordination has been subpar-oh damn, let it be on the record that I knew something like this was going to happen."
Salieri put a hand on her hip as she looked past the Asian trainer to Henrietta and Avan approaching. She could feel Melty's presence coming in closer. It sucked, literally. And her shy friend looked very shook. "Geez, what happened to you? You look like you saw a ghost." Salieri paused, rethinking her statement, then shook her head. "Well, you travel with a ghost on a regular basis, so nevermind. You okay?"
